Total Scam
January 2, 2014

Total Scam. I do a ton of shopping online and have never 'accidentally signed up for a monthly subscription', but I most certainly did on JustFab.com. But that's not even the worst part in my opinion. The worst part is trying to cancel. Not only can you NOT cancel online or via email, but when you call you are put on hold for what seems like forever. Then you get to talk to someone who's primary goal is to trick you into not actually cancelling your membership. If I could give this site a negative star, I would.

I'm actually a little different than some of the posts on here. I knew, coming in, that it was a month to month. I read up and did my homework and found out that I would be charged if I didn't click to "Skip the Month."

My problem is that they never have anything that I want in my size. I mostly got on the site because I LOVE boots and it's an inexpensive way to get some. However, I wear an 11 Wide Calf boot. They are ALWAYS sold out of all the boots in 11 Wide Calf. The rest of the shoes, I'm not super interested in. I'm more of a comfort person and they really only sell high heels (which I don't wear) and a few super ugly flats (which I'm not interested in). It's unfortunate because it was a great idea. If they included tennis shoes and fabric flats, I would be more inclined to stay (if they ever had anything decent in my size).

I just finished talking with a customer service rep and i demanded my 39.95 refunded as i too was unaware of the monthly charge. I returned the only pair of shoes i purchased as they did not fit well and are poorly made. I was given a site credit of 19.95 of which i am losing because i demanded my membership canceled. I demanded to speak to a supervisor until i was put on hold and when the rep returned the 3rd time she stated that i would receive my refund and my membership is canceled. Don't settle for the crap they try to feed you. Demand your refund and cancellation.

If I could give it a zero I would. The shoes are poor quality. They charged my account without authorization even when I opted out. I have tried multiple times to cancel and they will not let me to do it via email or through their website. They want a phone call. Every time I call I am on hold and can never reach a live person. I emailed them and explained how terrible their service is and how they charged me without authorization. I got a reply telling me I needed to call in to talk to someone. This site is a scam. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!

I've been with JustFab for about a year and a half, I'm a VIP member... I love the program. I love the shoes, bags and jewelry. The membership is clearly stated in the terms and in the " how the program works" section. Each month you will be alerted when your personal boutique is ready, you can choose to purchase, have them send better selections or skip the month. Within the year, I've skipped 3 months without any penalties. The user reviews on each shoe, bag and jewelry are really helpful. Credits are easy to earn... and they always have specials and guest designers.
I never submit feedback on forums, but I had to commit after seeing the sad pervious feedback.

So, I got the email saying that I could "opt out" and bypass making a purchase for the month, so I did. Lo and behold, there was a charge on my credit card three days later for $39.95. When I called to cancel, they told me there was a "glitch in the website" that week and that's why I was charged, but nothing about refunding the money. I said I wanted to cancel my membership, but I couldn't with an outstanding credit. I told her there was nothing on the site that I want; she told me that credit doesn't expire and they get new products all the time. "So, in the meantime I will continue to be charged almost $40 per month regardless of whether I opt out or not?" When I finally threatened to contact the BBB and mentioned that this is a scam and I wanted a supervisor, suddenly she was able to reverse the charge. Now that I've received the credit I can cancel my account.

I am also complaining about what everyone else has commented on the site. I initially bought a pair of shoes for 39.99 unknown to me that I would be charged each month! This type of charge needs to be conspicuous and clearly stated, not hidden in your terms and conditions. I believe this is unfair business practices and this needs to be evaluated. It doesn't seem that many of your customers are happy about their VIP access that they had no idea they were signing up for. This severely changes the way I view Just Fab, and I hope that you are more fair to your customers in the future, before you don't have any. This is a tricky way to do business and the customer representative even said that most of the VIP members don't even know they are VIP members and getting charged each month. This is ridiculous and I do not appreciate the deception.

I am here to complain about the VIP membership that I have unfortunately signed up to. I signed up with the offer of the first purchase being half price, however I was not made aware at the time that money would be taken out of my account every month! Two pairs of shoes were purchased on different accounts as I thought £17.50 was a reasonable price for the quality of shoe I was receiving and would not have purchased it at full price.

I had no intention of shopping there again and after receiving email after email after email from your company I did not read through every single one. I therefore was not aware that £70 would be taken from my account and turned into store credit which is almost useless to me as I do not use the site bar the one time I purchased from you.

When calling your customer service number I found the staff to be harassing and unable to help me as they were so busy reading their scripted lines that they did not listen to my problem at all. My first call with a man named Apple left me in the same position I was before I called. I asked him on multiple occasions to just cancel my account if he could not return my money so that nothing else would leave my account and each time he brushed me off telling me how I can purchase more online.

I understand the company's need to up-sell but on this supposed 'customer service' number surely their main aim should be helping the customer deal with their issue and not reading out a set text. I had to call three times before a lady named Andy finally listened to me and deleted my VIP membership although I had to be more firm with her than I usually like when I'm calling to ask someone for assistance, just to let her know that I did not want anymore information on how to purchase on your site!

I am very upset and unhappy with the both the customer service and the lack of information I was given when signing up for what I thought was a good deal. I have now lost £35 more than I would have if I had just paid retail price and ignored the offer. If there is some way to have my money refunded and store credit taken away I would greatly appreciate it as I feel tricked and conned.

This site is an absolute disgrace and the way it tricks people out of money is disgusting. They must have very little faith in their products if they need to con us all out of our money after our first purchase!

Same old story as everyone else on here!... I actually work in a bank and see these types of complaints all the time... so imagine my shock when i realised i had been conned too!... I am in the process to try and get a refund. For anyone in the UK trying to cancel your membership, do it through the disputes department at your bank. They will not refund you for money gone but will stop further payments (or refund you for any further payments). Now its just a wild goose chase to try and get my money back. SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!

I signed up for this website completely unaware of the membership. I spoke with a custoemr service agent who spent $25 ignoring my concerns and pushing the membership. I have never been rude to anyone on the phone. But she refused to listen to my concerns and at first refused to cancel my membership.
I have read that cancelling your membership does nothing. I have had to cancel my credit card as a result and issue a complaint. THIS WEBSITE IS A SCAM.

She got 2 pr boots, I ended up not finding 2 prs I liked in my size... needless to say I got screwed by them... So I will share their BS to all my friends and Promote That They Suck! Just saying
My sister was told that she has to wait until first 5 days of month to get her refund... no refund offered to me. I don't believe my sister will receive any refund either.

In December of 2012 I made my first purchase from justfab. I can agree that yes I did like the quality of the she and there was no problems with me receiving my purchase, so no problem on that end. This is where my horror story begins. A month later I noticed in my bank account statement that justfab took 39.95 from my account for a subscription fee. After realizing that I spoke with a representative and went through the steps of canceling my account. From my understanding everything was fine. This year which it is now December I come to find out every since December of last year just fab has still been issuing the deduction of 39.95 in my account, with this bank account not being an active one of mine it results in several overdraft fees of an additional 35.00 dollars. I have went through the claim process and after speaking with one of Justfabs rude representatives named Arianna and a manager named Lane who accused me of recording the phone call. Just fab owes me a refund of over 500.00 dollars. I will NOT ever be purchasing from this company again, and will let everyone know the grief they have made me endure.

I ordered one pair of shoes from them, I did not sign up for a membership, yet they automatically opted me into it and deducted money from my bank account in which I did not authorize! Called customer line which directs me to another number, can't get a hold of a representative probably due to high call volumes, when I did get to a rep they hug up on me. Don't buy anything from them!

Been with Justfab for about a year, if you read the terms of use before making a purchase you'll know that you need to "skip the month" if you don't want to be charged the $40. Just by looking at the pictures of the general lot of shoes they have you can tell you could find a better deal at the mall so i don't buy those. I only bought shoes in their collections like Iron Fist and Guess, those shoes were way cheaper on Justfab so i love the website. I must say the only thing i hate is having to "skip the month".

SCAM!
December 8, 2013

SCAM!
This company advertises that first-time buyers can get a pair of shoes on sale (when I created an account in October it was half-price). I wanted a pair of boots and thought I'd try it. BIG MISTAKE. The company charges you $39.95 a month whether you buy shoes or not. I went onto my bank account this month and saw this charge (wasn't charged for November) and called the company. I asked why I was charged and they told me this. So I told them to cancel my account, and they wouldn't. I had to talk with the lady for at least a half hour before I could get them to cancel. So now I can't buy my mom a Christmas gift (I make minimum wage) and I'm so upset. This company is a huge SCAM. They hide this whole thing in the terms & conditions.

Okay so I signed up to JustFab fully understanding that they would take money out of my account if I didn't skip the month, so I skipped the month and when it got to the 6th I was happy that they didn't take any money out of my bank account. However, it got to the 14th and they decided to take the money out then. I called them complaining about it but all they had to say was 'it's your own fault'. I couldn't cancel my account until I'd spent my credit of course, but I've just looked on my account today thinking 'oh yeah I need to spend that stupid credit on shoes I don't even want' and guess what? It wasn't there. So now I have to call up again tomorrow demanding of my credit which is just a waste of time and money. Don't sign up to this website, they are a scam and I don't care what anyone says.

I wish I read this and many other articles out there about the company sooner. I asked to get my money back for the hidden membership fee that I signed up for. They make you call them and then you have to hear this long sales pitch of how it's your fault for not understanding the terms, I try to speak to a manager and what do they do put me on hold and hang up after wait an HOUR on the phone for a supervisor. Worst customer service ever. Be warned this company is a big SCAM
