Last year my washer died. JustAnswer tech diagnosed the circuit board needed to be replaced and sent me sheets from the tech manual and comments to do the job. Bought board online and Success. This week I needed help with thermostatic shower valve and there was nothing online anywhere. Eddie identified the valve from pics and sent 2 tech how to manuals and suggestions. Both times they were simple fixes if only you know the fix. Both times I fixed the problem with simple tools and saved a boatload of money. I'm guessing those two sessions saved me around $500 in service calls and parts markups. I always check youtube for repair tutorials first but there are a LOT of holes in that knowledge base. I highly recommend justanswer.com. Both techs were very very quick to respond and highly knowledgeable.

I was struggling with my computer, over e-mail and passwords, hacking and the like. My computer guru could come but it would have cost me $100. Plus I had to be here later on in the day which wasn't really convenient. I decided to use Just Answer and got my problem solved within a half hour and a little more than half the cost. The remote handling did cost a bit more than the original quote but it was well worth it. My computer and e-mail are running well. Thank you.

Quick and informative

After submitting my first question to justanswer.com, I assumed my response would take a few hours minimum. To my surprise, it took just a half an hour. Furthermore, the medical question I asked was not easy and the answer I received was thorough and informative. I have since asked two more questions and those responses came in minutes. Freezer was acting up and wouldn't keep things frozen. I had already checked a few things that I knew would be checked and provided the information necessary and received a prompt reply with my solution. Part ordered and Freezer is repaired. The tech who helped me not only gave me the a quick response, but also some details as to what was happening so I could look up the correct part and get it on it's way. Thanks so much. The price was right and well worth it to ensure confidence in ordering a $100+ part.

I had a question about someone who got robbed and needed money from me to get home. I thought it was a scam so asked JustAnswer and they thought so to. They gave me very good advice and it worked. Original REVIEW: After a week of fighting with the just answers site I give up on them but not you. A $38.00 loss for me and another lesson is research first, you don't always get what you pay for. SCAM! STAY FAR FAR AWAY.

I am a boomer-gen tech user who really only wants the net access for communication, shopping/price comparison, and occ research. Not games, not face book, rarely trip planning, or any of the other zillion reasons folks use this amazing tool.
So when I couldn't open my email, it was a big deal. Jason j. Worked a lot of angles to find the prob. And was able to make it accessible. I'm not sure what finally worked; but mission accomplished! The only residual problem is a clock that is 1 hr late. To me, not a biggie. Mb

My conversation with Appliance Guru about my broken dishwasher ended when I no longer had the tools (and strength) needed to continue chasing down the problem. It was helpful though because he provided the diagnosis and most likely solutions to the problem. I felt much more secure and prepared to deal with the live repair person.

When I asked Appliance Guru for a recommendation for a repair person in my area who was knowledgeable in my brand, he gave me the name of the most expensive appliance repair service in my area. I needed to do my own research to find a reasonably-priced (with an additional coupon) appliance service company to fix my dishwasher. And they did --the same day.

Bird vet question

Good answer! Very helpful. Bird doing better. (There is no bird vet in this county) the only glitch I had was with my credit card. The first two charges went through ok but when I tried to leave a tip the credit card company fraud dept blocked the transaction. I guess the three charges in a short time triggered a red flag. So it might be a good idea to alert your card company prior to the transaction.

It is now hard to find camera shops if you get stuck with your camera, so this service is a great alternative. Very quick and not too pricy, and there is not limit on the time you have to take (as far as I understand).

Maytag knocking noise

I was given some suggestions to solve the problem that did not work., but by experimenting with the settings of the thrust bearing cam within the recommended setting range the problem knocking noise was reduced to nearly inaudible. This solution was NOT included in the suggestions. Might be a good idea to have the repair tech collaborate and share ideas on recommendations to customerss (callers).

I got the answer I asked for. It would have been nice to have a little more information. I found out what 'L&M' meant and that they imported the china but I still don't know who made it. I didn't ask who made it but once I found out that L&M was an importer not a manufacturer, it would have been nice to know who made the china. I thought $25 was a little expensive. I would definitely try this again and recommend it to others.

Quick response & the attorney articulated quickly what we needed to do. Attorney was also exceptionally helpful on follow-up questions. I'm very appreciative of this site to get a quick answer with the convenience of asking from my office, and the exceptional cost-effectiveness of this way of getting legal answers. Way more cheaper than paying $500 an hour (& a face-to-face meeting almost always includes small chit-chat which is an unintended cost). My experience took about 5 minutes total for an exchange of six responses from both me & the attorney, & cost me about $50. I'm very confident of the answers he gave & confirmed what I was thinking. I didn't want to act until I had legal confirmation and now I can move on. Thank you JustAnswer! Perfect solution for a busy person...
