It sounds like when you tried to contact customer support about your account that you may have gone through the password retrieval process while logging in. You should not need to be logged in to contact customer support, you should be able to reach out to us through the Contact Us link at the bottom of the homepage if you are having trouble logging in.

Wrote my question. Signed on to pay pal and monthly service for a while. I am almost 88yr. Old and I sometimes need answers other than my sons. It took several hours for an answer and I had figured it out one half hour before your people. Never the less your service is good and I will be using it again.
Richard@ Just Answer provided me great service & recommended several things, which I tried & they worked. He also recommended against sending the unit in for service as it would cost more than the camera is worth. That alone was great service!

It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. Sorry for the confusion about the good faith deposit. An initial $5 deposit is required at the time the question is posted and the balance of the question price is collected once an Expert responds to the question.
This information regarding the deposit is displayed on the page where the customer is prompted to submit their payment details and questions are posted only when the customer acknowledges and accepts the payment terms.
An Expert responded to your question which is why you received a charge for the balance due, however, the Expert isn't paid unless you’re satisfied with the help received and rate the service accordingly.
