I am really happy with the way justanswer helped me fix my TVs audio problem. The experts were very helpful and showed a lot of patience which made it really easy for me to discuss and clarify my doubts with them. And the way they dealt with the problem was so detailed and methodical; no confusion from my end when I was trying them out on my TV. This has been a great experience with justanswer and its experts. Took me right to the spot i had electrical problem
I want to start off saying the advice I got was excellent. The organization that stands behind the expert seems to be a different story. It was difficult to get to the expert - it seemed like I was always diverted to a sales pitch. I thought I had paid for a limited trial, but I got charged a second time and I don't believe it was what I chose. I was surprised and disappointed with the extra charge.
I asked for help installing a Plus Tek Optic Scanner that was 6 years old. I have Windows 10. Rob spent over an hour with me trying to figure out how to get the computer to recognize the scanner and make the software work. We finally concluded that it was not compatible with Windows 10. While the end result was not what I was hoping for, I am convinced that he did everything humanly possible to figure out how it might be configured to work.
I definitely would use Just Answer again.

It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.

Sorry for the confusion about the good faith deposit. An initial $5 deposit is required at the time the question is posted and the balance of the question price is collected once an Expert responds to the question.
This information regarding the deposit is displayed on the page where the customer is prompted to submit their payment details and questions are posted only when the customer acknowledges and accepts the payment terms.
An Expert responded to your question which is why you received a charge for the balance due, however, the Expert isn't paid unless you’re satisfied with the help received and rate the service accordingly.
