First I was lost. You should ask why? Since my knowledge and the technician knowledge is a big difference. Solution = it is not easy but he should find where is his/hers customer. I was lucky having as much of technology knowledge. He said "I already solved the problem. Except I did not know (he left a result file) on my DeskTop. I am an antiques and collectibles dealer. I sell a very wide array of different types of items and occassionally i need help with an item, either help authenticating an item and or appraising an item. It is so valuable to me to be able to send in photos and a description and have an expert provide me with detailed information on the item and a current market value. Ive used this service 10 or more times and ive also used the legal section as well, the service, speed, and information is always top notch. So, overall Justanswer is a very valuable and dependable service that is affordable.
I signed on and made the misyake of giving them my credit card information. The charge was supposed to be for $5, instead they charged me 22.00 and gave me the same information I would have gotten if it had been Monday and I could have spoken to my vet. Nothing was solved. It is my fault for not reading the information that tells you if you get an answer from a vet you are charged 22.00

I'm sorry for the confusion about the good faith deposit. An initial $5 deposit is required at the time the question is posted and the balance of the question price is collected once an Expert responds to the question.
This information regarding the deposit is displayed on the page where the customer is prompted to submit their payment details and questions are posted only when the customer acknowledges and accepts the payment terms. I had questions about starting a certain type of business. So I paid to get an answer from Just Answer. A lawyer, Roy Hadavi, said he specialized in the type of business I was forming and could answer my questions. About 20 min later he comes back with answers. Every single answer he gave me was wrong. I actually called State of CA and got the answers before going on the website, I just wanted a lawyer to review the answers for my peace of mind. Mr. Hadavi told me I would not need any of the special licenses and regulations I was inquiring about which were absolutely mandatory for this business. His answers were totally false! When I called him on it, he disappeared and closed the question so I couldn't review him. Thank God I did my research beforehand.

My friend recommended Just Answer when I told her about a call I got from a debt collector. I was unsure how to proceed with them. I had a few ideas after they offered to close my account if I paid them a certain percentage of what I owed. Nice deal but before I agreed I sought legal advice. In this case, it was recommended that I make sure that in addition to closing the account I should ask them to make sure, for my credit record, that it show that it was paid in full, versus (closed as a bad debt). The later would have negative impact on my credit rating for a pretty long time. It was good advice.
I had several people telling me what to do. All out in left field. Went to Just Answers and got two answers quickly. Checked a few things and narrowed it down to a fuel pump problem. Ordered a fuel pump and swapped it out. Truck is back up and running great! Thanks Team Just Answers!
Both of my turn signals went on Friday while driving in traffic only to turn back on later Friday night. Same thing on Saturday. I didn't want to deal with a mechanic for what seemed to be a minor issue.
Via Google I learned it MAY be my turn signal, hazard lights relay. So I crossed my fingers and bought one. However, I couldn't reach deep inside the passenger side dashboard to remove, replace it.
Thank heavens I found Just Answer. The mechanic told me what to do and within a short time, the new relay was in place and working. So far, the problem has been fixed, time will tell.
I'll certainly use this service again and will recommend it to others.
I would have given it 5 stars but the site does not clearly communicate some info to customers. Case in point, I must register to post my review. Hey, tell me this first not after I hit the "Submit your review" button.
And when I was prompted to pay the initial $5 to use their service, the PayPal page I was sent to DID NOT tell me they were going to pull the entire fee of $5 plus the $28 for the mechanic's time. The phone support team explained it was posted when making a credit card payment but that doesn't help PayPal users. Customers don't like surprises.
However, this is fixable and does not reflect on the service I received from the mechanic.
So hard to think straight when your'e hurt and trying hard not be angry, but I'm not really. Thanks, hurts me to have say bad things, I just want to move without getting killed!

It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
