Jerry Newton (GM Technician) provided great advice concerning my 1989 DeVille that is having electrical issues with it currently. He helped me identify a likely problem and instructed me how to put the car in diagnosis mode and further investigate the root cause. Unfortunately my diagnostic mode didn't work for some reason, but it's likely that it's due to the issue Jerry mentioned. Ultimately Jerry might have prevented a $600 diagnosis fee had I gone to the dealership. I would rate a five if I had proven his root cause is true by replacing the BCM. But that's the first part I will change and see how it goes. Thanks Jerry!

It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
