I needed to know the value of my grandmother's piano and couldn't find any piano values anywhere. Didn't have time to get someone to come give an estimate so I resorted to JustAnswer. Wasn't exactly thrilled with the $45 charge and would have kicked myself up one side and down the other if I had paid the additional charge to "expedite" my answer. Jerry Newton (GM Technician) provided great advice concerning my 1989 DeVille that is having electrical issues with it currently. He helped me identify a likely problem and instructed me how to put the car in diagnosis mode and further investigate the root cause. Unfortunately my diagnostic mode didn't work for some reason, but it's likely that it's due to the issue Jerry mentioned. Ultimately Jerry might have prevented a $600 diagnosis fee had I gone to the dealership. I would rate a five if I had proven his root cause is true by replacing the BCM. But that's the first part I will change and see how it goes. Thanks Jerry!
