Yesterday I was asked about an issue with a MAC Airbook - working in a start up I get all the random questions from office supplies to IT. I don't use a MAC and was just lost. I had a problem with my propane stove and called just answer. I was under the assumption I was getting a repair man for 5 dollars and it was a one time fee. I was wrong. I acually signed up for a club for 28 dollars a month. I caught it in the 2nd month and called them immediately. I told them what happened and they could see I only used the service one time for 5 minutes. They didn't care I made a mistake and decided to keep my 56 dollars for doing absolutely nothing. That's not good business taking money from people who didn't understand what we were signing up for. Yes it was my stupidity but shame on them for not acknowledging a mistake and refunding the money. They must need it more than I do. I wonder how many people go longer than 2 months and realize the mistake they made. U own it but want to let others to be very careful and really, don't use them. Call your repair man.

Answer: I got scammed last year for just over $50k on what I thought was a legit investment site. Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
