I was being charged on my credit card without my knowledge. So I called customer service, she pulled 2 accounts with my email on it, both were already canceled. Then she asked if she can check my phone number and then she said I had made a 3rd account using my phone number and used it and now they will not refund my money. Asking further this representative became irritated and didn't even let me speak and hung up on me. When I asked how am I supposed to access this 3rd account she got mad and said "you already know you can use your email right" but for this 3rd account there is no email. So on further asking it she started speaking fast and hung up the call. Worst services. Their answers are not even great, you can google it for free.
Well. That's it really. They're a fake sad substitute without knowledgeable answers to questions you are probably asking, like me, at 3 am because the real professionals are closed. Don't waste your time or money. And even after you ask for a refund and ask them to cancel they still steal money from your account. Truly absurd. I hope they catch fraud charges bc what they do is not helpful, but criminal rather.

This was hands down the most unpleasant experience I've ever had when it comes to online businesses. After day 4 of myself sending multiple emails, talking to multiple people, being promised phone calls that never happened, told by agents they would look into it and they would be right back but never came back and them saying they were marking my question as urgent I cancelled. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Super annoyed that I wasted my time for nothing!

I have about 15 years experience with raising and keeping backyard chickens and I wasn't looking for obvious or or superficial advice on poultry health when one of my older hens got sick and I struggled to adequately address her condition. The site of "just answer" came up in a Google search for the specific health issue of my chicken. I thought I would check what level of veterinary advice was given to others. No such luck, the answers to all previous posts were hidden. Never mind, the site advised that an experienced poultry veterinarian, her name and image provided, was online and she would give me advice immediately for a special price of $5. I thought even if get low quality advice, it's worth a try. I paid and then I was interviewed someone who was presented as a highly trained assistant: she would pass the information on to the veterinarian. Even an image of the assistant was provided, but later turned out she wasn't a live person, but a computer. Anyway, the site advised me that now they were looking for an experienced bird veterinarian, that took up the rest of the day on a Monday. So there was no veterinarian online and the "assistant" wasn't a live person as presented. On Tuesday a "bird veterinarian" was supposedly already writing an email to me. Thursday she/he was still writing the email according to the site, but that wasn't true either. That's when I called the site and requested a refund. Jason answered my call and he gave me a special offer, a veterinarian would call me immediately for free. I gave it another try and needles to say that nobody called, that was just another unfulfilled promise. I called again on Friday and managed to get a refund. In fairness to the website, at least their phone number and the people who answered the call were real. It was pointed out to me that I was automatically signed up for a $29/month trial after a a week. I'm glad that canceled and got my refund back!

Paid for trial membership, had a high priority type question regarding my cat that needed prompt answering and they just told me what I wanted to hear both times I called to ask why I hadn't received an answer yet. First I waited an hour. Then called back, was told I would get my answer in no longer than 8 minutes. Waited another 45 minutes and nothing.
For people looking for a response within a few days and aren't in a hurry to receive prompt information maybe they could help you but I in no way am going to support a company that lies to it's customers, especially when they potentially are in the middle of life threatening situations, in this case for my beloved cat who I just needed a quick question answered for about ingredients in something that I wanted to get for her while I was at the store that could potentially help her feel better. Inconsiderate at best, these people are crooks and will lie directly to you the whole time just so they can move on to their next Rip off.

They initially charged me $5 for a service I never used, it was just an inquiry about how it works. I have lodged a dispute with my credit card company for this $5.00. I have just opened my latest credit card statement and the bastards have now billed me for a further $67.98? All this for NO service asked for, and NO service given. I haven't even spoken with anybody at JustAnswer. No contact at all. Avoid these PIGS like you would the Corona Virus!

I asked a question on December 25 that was never answered. I called on 4/5/2021 to cancel my membership. I was told everything was taken care of but here we are two months later, still being charged. The customer service chat is run by bots. I had to go through 2 bots before I could chat with a real person who took care of my request. Time will tell if they actually cancel my membership this time. I attached of the unanswered question made back in December

The company has very fine print regarding their policy. The membership must be cancelled on later than 7 day. I was one day off, businesses were closed om Memorial day. I was on out of town and just came back. Cancelled my member ship, as for a Refund of my $30. I was ONE day off, the Customer Service rep. Keep repeating himself that I was past the grace period. REALLY ONE DAY! Wow. Terrible customer service. Very misleading Its $1.00 for seven day trial period, but that is not to be found in bold print. I won't ever use this service and caution everyone that intends to maybe use this service to got directly to a ER Veterinarian... This is a scam

Signed up for a $1 - 7 Days Trial to get ancestry for my grandfather. Waited 15 minutes for an ‘Expert' to come online. At that time I texted in their portal that when my wait time reached 30 minutes I will have to cancel. IMMEDIATELY a ‘Retention' Specialist came online to say my question would be prioritized. Ten minutes later, the ‘Expert' comes online with a $34 fee for HER services! I said NO and why. The website did NOT mention that, and I called the number to cancel. It also stated the monthly membership fee is $20, but later language under Membership Management stated $50. FIFTY. Companies that do THIS are operating unethically because they give NO indication of their trickery in their website language. Customers should be told the truth in order to engage from a point of awareness and knowledge. That's how we make informed, wise choices. I did manage to adjust size of Purchase Order screenshot taken from laptop screen, after all. You asked for my Facebook Password and THAT is. A No-No. So sorry, no can do that.

I signed up thinking there was a one time fee of $1.00 and ended up being charged $50.00/month without knowing it until some months later. Granted, I should have checked my credit card statement on line. They said they sent me a confirmation email online which must have gone into my junkmail folder because I never saw it. I cancelled as soon as I realized what had happened and asked for a refund of what I already paid but they refused. I should have been more on top of it but they should have been more understanding of my situation as a retiree on a very minimal fixed income and been granted a refund for the hundreds of dollars I spent for a membership I virtually never used and didn't even know I was being charged for. This is a company without compassion. Don't use them.

I used this service to speak to someone regarding a work related issue. The overall answers I received were basic, nothing too detailed or helpful which was a bit disappointing so I didn't want the service. During the 7 day trial, I was charged the $5 but when I tried to cancel online, the link wasn't working! It was impossible to cancel my membership online so I had to call customer service! I was put on hold for over 20mins and no one was available! I had to call again to get someone on the other line to finally cancel! I was told my membership was canceled and then a month later, I was charged the full $46! I had to go through the whole process again to get it canceled! The representative stated they were unable to process a refund but canceled again! Apparently, this is an on going issue with this Just Answer service and A LOT of people have the same problem better! I better not get charged again! Their customer service is horrible and honestly, the service itself is NOT worth it! I would NOT recommend to anyone!

My complaint is how they mislead in regards to their membership. I was told that it would cost $1.00 to get an answer from a vet. That part was good, but I was never told that I would be charged $31.00 for a membership of which I did not agree to. When requesting a refund they refused.

We logged onto their site to basically see how it worked; ( we used paypal-/ a safe & user friendly co. /they look out for their customers. L) Anyway``we already knew the answer to the question we were asking! - we did not get a qualified answer -! We were redirected to a guy that basically retyped what we typed in our original question ( all is in writing - so that can be verified); in short; we requested a refund & cancellation from their site & they rapidly responded & agreed to credit us & cancel future auto drafts.- Which is the professional thing to do.** ( i applaud them for that!.) If you decide to tap into their site & give them your C card Info; FIRST; make certain to *first *read thru the sites reviews & policies //As you should on any Co`S. Site! Be aware / look into their hidden charges ( if any?) & ( in this case) who there redirecting your questions to; What are there qualifications: How do they verify / qualify those individuals/ & stated qualifications? And where can you see those qualifications? Do they allow you to see those qualifications? Basically -anyone can state that they are an expert? / Best of luck. Jim

Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
