Stay away! Scam!

Not helpful and they trick you into a membership. When our dog was in distress and we were out of town, we someone ended up on this site. By the time we got connected to the "professional," the advice was to go to an emergency vet. We were already on the way.

There is no website that is designed to be used for emergency purposes. While the average response time is around 8 minutes, we cannot guarantee a response time and the Veterinarian that you connect with cannot administer medical nor can they conduct any other emergency services.

For any medical or veterinary emergency you should always seek assistance in-person from licensed and trained personnel.

First off I had to wait for employees to get to work. Then the "gentleman" helping me actually hung up on me. Seeing these signs with my father I would say the technician was recovering from the evening before.
Very, very rude. Then they kept wanting to add on to the original fee. $20 for this and $50 for that. They never did help!

I signed up for a $1 Trial and then $46 monthly billing after the trial period ends. JustAnswer.com then sent an email saying that I signed up for a $1 "joining fee" and an immediate $46 monthly billing. I was chatting with a JustAnswer Expert and didn't see the email until later. On the next day the $46 charge showed on my card account. I immediately cancelled the membership. JustAnswer refuses to refund the $46 saying that it was a voluntary enrollment and non-refundable. They cannot prove that the offer that I selected did not include a trial period. Watch this service closely if they offer a trial period.

I got quick and very useful advice on a problem with my washing machine and I was happy to pay the $5 fee (advertised as "refundable"). However, four days later, an email arrived saying that my membership would automatically renew the next day for $37 per month. Unfortunately, I had no internet or cell phone service to see the message, let alone cancel the service within that very short window. When I called to complain two days later when I saw the message, I was told I had agreed to automatic renewal when I registered. They refused to cancel the charge, but did cancel the automatic renewal going forward. So be forewarned, you should cancel the service immediately after you have received an answer to your question, or you will get trapped into paying a very high monthly fee.

If you have a simple question about your dog's health and want to spend an extra 30$ to have someone else tell you to visit a vet, then sign up for this service. Yes, the "professional" will get to you soon, even at night or on the weekend, but the answer will always be the same: see another professional. This service is a tax for anyone who is debating whether to go to a professional or not. Just go to a professional, because ultimately that will be the advice you get.

I don't recommend this service because I can't trust the opinion of someone work in this way. A person using hidden fees.
I search online and I fill in my payment information to just ask a question that shows it was $1. I noticed that they billed me $60 for the membership that I did not apply for. I called right away and they refused to pay back and cancel before they got an answer to my question.

TERRIBLE company!
You sign up to get an answer, which is great! And was fabulous! But man oh man, you better read all the fine print because they sign you up for a membership that will charge $44.95 per month. Then God forbid you try to call and cancel... they will cancel it but REFUSE to give any sort of refund. I was charged for over a year... which is 100% my fault for not catching the charges, but all I asked for was 1 month refunded to me. Customer service rep promised me a supervisor would return my call within 10-15 minutes. Never got a call. I called back 6 hours later, they proceeded to tell me that the manager got my voicemail which is a lie. My phone is charged and on me all day. I called back demanding to speak to a supervisor yet AGAIN! After about 3 hours of my wasted time I was finally able to speak to someone. Customer service is BEYOND terrible. Horrible to try to work with them. DO NOT EVEN TRY THIS COMPANY. Its 100% a waste of your time.

It's a crapshoot

8/25/21 * update* I just cancelled my membership. They are not equipped to deal with all the customer service issues that are occurring. Half the problems you can resolve by yourself if you're just given the access online. This just isn't a good time to be using the service. Even though the people are skilled that provide you help, the customer service is just beyond terrible.

You have a 50% chance of getting a good lawyer who will be able to answer your questions accurately and the same chance of getting a counselor who doesn't cut and paste the same answer they give everybody. There are truly compassionate mental health care providers on this site. Just as there are very knowledgeable lawyers. If you find a good counselor or a lawyer only speak to them. You do that by putting their name at the top of the question. For example "for Jane Doe only." Their customer service has some really bad glitches. They outsource and are working from home so the connection is bad. Not all the customer care representative understand your concerns and the language barrier may be at fault. I am staying subscribed to the site because I am getting the assistance I need. Sometimes it takes three tries, but in the end, I am satisfied.

Watch out for how this business charges
July 23, 2021

I signed up for a 7 day trial for $5. I asked a question and got a good answer. Then they wanted me to sign up for $28/mo. I canceled the membership but assumed, as is usually standard operating procedure, the 7 day trial would continue. I asked a second question and got an answer, then they automatically charged me $46 for a monthly membership. I chatted with the company and they "had no record of trial period" and that their terms and conditions state the customer is charged immediately upon asking the question. They then offered a 30% discount which was still higher than the original $28/mo option I was given initially. When I returned to the site there is no record of the %46 charge and no record of the second question. The only record that exists is the $5 charge for a 7 day trial.

BEWARE! My expectations of this service was a one time response. I signed up to ask a vet one question about my cat for $5. I DID NOT sign up for the on-going service, but was still charged $29.70. I DID NOT sign up for the "trial membership!" I didn't want a membership at all which is why I chose the $5 option. The company refused to give me a refund. I WOULD NOT recommend this service! I was being charged on my credit card without my knowledge. So I called customer service, she pulled 2 accounts with my email on it, both were already canceled. Then she asked if she can check my phone number and then she said I had made a 3rd account using my phone number and used it and now they will not refund my money. Asking further this representative became irritated and didn't even let me speak and hung up on me. When I asked how am I supposed to access this 3rd account she got mad and said "you already know you can use your email right" but for this 3rd account there is no email. So on further asking it she started speaking fast and hung up the call. Worst services. Their answers are not even great, you can google it for free.

Well. That's it really. They're a fake sad substitute without knowledgeable answers to questions you are probably asking, like me, at 3 am because the real professionals are closed. Don't waste your time or money. And even after you ask for a refund and ask them to cancel they still steal money from your account. Truly absurd. I hope they catch fraud charges bc what they do is not helpful, but criminal rather.

This was hands down the most unpleasant experience I've ever had when it comes to online businesses. After day 4 of myself sending multiple emails, talking to multiple people, being promised phone calls that never happened, told by agents they would look into it and they would be right back but never came back and them saying they were marking my question as urgent I cancelled. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Super annoyed that I wasted my time for nothing!
