This site is a scam. I asked for an appraisal and the site indicated I would need to pay $1 for a membership to get started. I then received an appraisal from a person through text. (The quality of the appraisal is a different issue.) Nowhere did I see that they would then set me up for a monthly charge of $60, automatically renewed. After I found on my credit card site a $1 charge and a $60 charge, I read the terms and conditions. It is long, and I could not find any mention of a $60 charge, or a repeating charge. It does say once I am a member there can be other charges. I called to complain and the person was calm and polite but was not willing to refund my fee. He did cancel the membership and the automatic charge. I am glad I called because otherwise I would not have known about the repeating charge until next month. I do not recommend using this site.
I asked a question but did not receive a reply.
The only action was to start deducting money from my credit card on a monthly basis.
So far one monthly payment has been receive and two are outstanding.
I don't know if a payment will be taken this month.
No reply to my emails.
Be wary of dealing with this organisation.

I've contacted Justanswer on their Website. Everything seemed ok and I wanted to fix my washer.
The response was quite fast and was told that my doorlock on the washer had to be changed. I was given a part # and referred to Amazon. I've contacted Amazon and the part was discontinued. I finally found on the WEB a way to RESET the motor on the washer. I did that and it solved my problem. I was charged 34.03$ for the call. 53.00$ for being a (monthly) customer. A total of $89.03. I was not informed about the 53$ Membership. Furthurmore JustAnswer did not solve my problem.
I found it outrages having hidden costs.

I contacted JustAnswer.com for assistance with a legal matter. I was requested to provide my credit card and home address etc. in order to proceed. The card was rejected as inaccurate. After leaving the site I was alerted by Visa that a charge of $86 had been made to my account by JustAnswer.com and was asked if I wanted a stop charge order, which I authorized. When I complained to JustAnswer.com the response was totally gobbledegook and would have required an hour of my time to document the scam they just laid on me. Consumer beware, this site is unsafe.

I paid about 34.00 for some help with a question on my boat motor. It took 2 days to here from them and they had no idea what the problem was. I asked a local boat repair shop and told me exactly what the problem was. After months passed i was charged 34.00 per month for nothing. They would not give me any refunds on all the charges. Stay Away from them.

Initially the services were fantastic. I signed up to ask a couple of legal questions. I knew that I wasn't going to need the services for longer than a month so I made sure to cancel right after I had signed up. Doing so would keep me from being billed for a second month. Pearl seems to be the virtual assistant and she was very short and rude with me. On or about April 2,2022 I cancel my membership, receive chat confirmation from Pearl and I thought that was the end of it. I never received a confirmation email or text and that's when I should have realized something was wrong. Fast forward to the following month when I noticed a charge on my account from justanswer.com for another billing cycle. I try to contact them right away via chat and pearl is very short with me and continues to disconnect from my chat. At this point I'm pretty frustrated so I send an email as well as try to call the 800 number. I also continue try the chat when I finally get a hold of what Pearl and she connect's me with someone named Andre. I explain the situation to him and he still refuses to refund. Mind you I haven't used the services in 2 weeks. My experience with the customer service department was horrible. There was no professionalism and there was no courtesy. I know without a doubt that I spoke with pearl and canceled my membership on or about April 2,2022 and they failed to cancel it, charged me for another month and are now refusing to refund me. Honestly speaking to both of their customer service Representatives was like dealing with my abusive ex who tried to gaslight me all the time. I literally felt like they were gaslighting me. This is my experience with them. I highly recommend that you are very careful when dealing with them as far as your membership goes. Be very clear and make sure you receive confirmation via email or text when you decide to cancel your membership.

Just Answer is a money-grubbing Scam.
I had a hard drive crash on my computer one day. And searching for help, I mistakenly got directed to Just Answer, when I was looking for Microsoft Help. They did not know more than an online search could yield and they charged me 47 dollars for it. I thought I stopped the service, but they continued to draw money from account until I cancelled the account connected. I asked them for a refund but they never replied.

I signed up for justanswer in a vulnerable moment because I was really worried about my dog one night, and the emergency vet in town was full. Justanswer promises responses 24/7, but I heard nothing until the next morning, and even then all I got was a "how is your dog." I then went to paypal to cancel my payment setup just to make sure I wouldn't be charged another month-not knowing justanswer would cancel my membership immediately. So, I paid $30 for nothing except the false promise of help.

This company is deceptive and will NOT refund your money after they tell you it costs $1.00 to use their services. They piggyback on other companies customer service, ac ting like they are in concert. They hope that you will give up by referring you to "expert" after "expert". Asked a medical question on a trip to Mexico and was told see a doctor. I could have figured that out without contacting JustAnswer. The initial agreement said that we would be charges 1.20 which apparently started a trial for a week and then recurring charges of $59.32/month. Sure likely that was spelled out when we asked the question, but we were more concerned with the medical issue to remember that we were now stuck in another membership hole. The first charge occurred before we even got home and I cancelled when I did get home, but no just a day too late, so another monthly charge. So what did we pay? $119.84 for a rather useless answer. Really how many people are going to need monthly advice to justify spending 60/month ($720/year). At least if I go to my doctor or consult a lawyer I can spend less than that and know who is giving me the advice. Not sure how many people need advice several times/year, but I am an lawyer and I'd be happy to give someone advice for much less than this costs. Granted you can ask advice for plumbing, electrical, etc., but honestly go online and you can get all the answers you need. Waste of money.

I was charged a membership for 3 months and when I contacted customer service to cancel my membership and obtain a refund, they refused to return to me after their initial email. I did not recognize the charge and will not be recommending this company to others.
I will be bringing this further and disputing this transaction. You can tell a lot about a company about how professional their customer service is, and a refusal to cancel my membership and issue a refund, is not a good sign of a company.

So my cat had a UTI. I was not able to get into my regular vet. I found just answers. They basically did a Google search for me. They gave me all this information about a UTI. And then when I asked about getting an antibiotic, and the same text thread they said it was not a UTI. They told me she needs to go to the vet. Well, no $#*!. I was using this resource because I couldn't get to the vet. I was under the impression it would cost a dollar, but it was 30. I thought it was going to be refundable. But apparently the dollar is the only thing refundable. Huge waste of time and added extra aggravation onto a day I'm already worried about my cat. And Dr. Paul was also a bit of a smart $#*!. I am mediately cancel my membership but they still took that 30 bucks.

This website said to me I'd only be paying $1 to get the questions answered. Come to find out, I've been paying $46 a month for the last three months cause "it requires a membership to ask a question". Customer support was terrible and kept saying I was confused, which is stupid cause why would I have signed up in the first place if I was going to be charged up the a** monthly for only having ONE question? It did not tell me there was a charge other than the $1 I was okay with paying. They won't refund me either, terrible place. I would recommend wikihow before this stupid website.

Very vague answers, said they would charge me $1 to ask a? But they ended up charging my credit card months after with (2) $60 charges for Total of $120, i called and asked for refund since i never signed up for any contract, and they told me they would only refund me one payment of $60 so they essentially charged me $61 for a very vague answer, i dont even believe the lawyer i talked to was familiar with hawaii law, as he wasnt able to answer my very basic questions about landlord/tenant law. 2 BIG THUMBS DOWN!

Answer: I got scammed last year for just over $50k on what I thought was a legit investment site. Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
