I purchased H&R Block software, as I always do, on November 6,2025. I filed my returns to the IRS and the State of Wisconsin Department of Revenue on Feb. 13,2026. The following month, hackers stole a large amount of personal and Financial information from me. A friend helped me to restore a clean copy of the Windows operating system and the data, but in the process, we were forced to lose all executable programs, including H&R Block executables for the IRS and State of Wisconsin returns.
The Wisconsin Department of Revenue suggested that I file an amended return due to minor discrepancies between their calculations and mine, which will require an amended return to the IRS as well. Today, on March 30,2026, I brought this to the attention of H&R Block staff and requested another copy of the downloaded software for the IRS and the State of Wisconsin. Not only did H&R Block immediately email me a link to the downloads, they also provided a refund of a portion of my original purchase, which they didn't have to do. H&R Block is a class act. You have won my respect and gratitude, and I will never forget the help that you gave me.

The entire experience was successful. Pearl, the tech assistant captured all the necessary conditions to report to Sterling, the tech. Sterling phoned me and spent a lot of time talking me through the steps to address our problem and assuring the TV was working properly when finished. And, he left me with what to do if the problem arrises again.

Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
