This is a scam service set up to entice you in with a 'Free seven day trial offer.' Then they don't make clear to you that you have to definitely opt out before the trial period is up or they'll take your money (£38 a month!)
For ever after - despite you never using the service again. We rang to complain we had been repeatedly charged for a service we hadn't used apart from that initial phone call, and we were answered by staff in the Philippines who promised a Supervisor would ring back within the hour. Did they heck!

While I was setting up my roku account I had one question and through the Roku system I was re-routed to Just Answer, who charged me $ 1 for the question and $ 46 for a monthly membership fee forever until cancelled. So when you as "Just Answer" a question sure it just cost you one $ but they automatically sign you up for a monthly membership fee for Just $ 46 a month. I guess we all have the wrong job - just imagine if you would for every question you answer during a days time get a new member automatically signing up and you earn every month $ 46 without answering any questions, unless somebody actually ask you a question than they pay you an additional $ 1. I would be rich as I am answering question all day long.

They got my credit card information to charge me for $1 to get an answer. They hid that I was also getting billed for a month of service plus it was automatically a recurring monthly payment. I let the initial charge of $46 go because I didn't have the time then to claim a refund. When I just saw a second such payment I spent considerable time canceling the account and getting a refund of at least the fee I just found debited. I didn't have a copy of the information that fooled me to begin with so I couldn't realistically make an adequate claim. So they have 92 dollars of mine that was 92 times greater than I thought it would be.

I needed to ask a question re Virginia estate law. The Lawyer who responded was not licensed to practice in Virginia and could not answer, except to say most states are similar. After posting our question, the website apparently locks you in to a yearly membership. I was able to cancel after two months but, a complete waste of money. I have no emails or receipts stating I agreed to a membership and only noticed the charge on my credit card statement.

I was looking for a lawyer and they said via chat on their website for $5 the could connect me with one. The one I was connected to was not in my state and could not help me. Then I go to my bank account and I found. $46 membership charge for just ask.
Went back to the website and I realized it was a bit since would answer my complaint and this time asked me for $1. This is an absolute SCAM. Called customer service and the Indian lady with a very heavy accent said the money could not be refunded because I had agree on an email they have sent me! Don't use justask.com because they just ask for your money!

They give you mediocre answers that you could easily find off of google, then mislead you into a paying for an expensive monthly membership. Their cancellation on their website also does not work, so they will steal your money until you notice and demand they cancel it. They will not give you a refund either even if you had 0 use of the months membership. I hope this website gets investigated and is shut down ASAP. Shameful.

First, their initial agreement is misleading. Second, when trying for an explanation, could only get a robot. Going to dispute charge and not use again.

They send you a message saying that you will get to talk to a vet for only a dollar but what they don't tell you is that it's actually like $29 a month. Then you talk to a person they try to sell you (after the fact) on why you need this to ask lots of questions and tell you they have a 5.5 BBB rating. But they don't they have a 3.7. I talked to a supervisor about a refund (the selling person) she kept saying no refund. The next time I went back to chat she pretended didn't respond to any of my refund comments and just kept pretending to be helping again.

Beginning of June I signed up with this company for 1 Pound or what I thought was 1 Pound. I then was charged immediately 49 Pounds and when I realised that I got in touch with customer services because I wanted to cancel. The agent was very friendly and said yes no problem, the money would be reimbursed and the membership cancelled. So all good. Then a few weeks later I looked at my credit card statement and saw that I was charged the full amount and never received a reimbursement. I immediately contacted customer services who were extremely unhelpful just telling me, well this is how it is. Allegedly in the transcript of my earlier chat there was no information that I would get reiumbursed. Despite not having used their services once because I thought it was cancelled they refused to pay me the money back. I can only warn anybody to use them. They lure you onto their website with the 1 Pound offer, you put your credit card details in and then they take 1 Pound and a month membership fee. Disgusting!

I asked one question about the radio in my truck and they quickly told me to replace it. I took it to the dealership and they replaced a module not the radio and it works fine. People make mistakes, I understand that. Since then these folks charge my credit card $34.00 a month for a service I find to be less than helpful. That's right they have been hitting me every month for this charge so watch out!

I currently am having an emergency for my dog and cannot afford vet care at the moment. So I thought since just answer was offering 1 dollar for a trial membership that I would give it a shot. Not only was I not able to get helpful info, I was charged the full membership fee instead of the trial fee. Customer care is clearly to incompetent to understand and help my situation, so let the process begin, all over 28.00.

I authorized a $2 membership fee and was then billed $66. When I complained, they just said "sorry we can cancel your membership (gee thanks) but cannot give you a refund. You mean "won't" give me a refund. Any site engaging in these businesses practices is shady at best. Funny how they "end chats" or "leave the room" when they don't want to answer a question.

Ended up on a call to a Doctor that went from the NHS free number who couldn't respond and needed a quick answer. Didn't realise the fee was not one-off but continual and monthly. The advice was very average and ended up paying far more for it than anyone should.

Unfortunately I did not read the small print and was not aware I was signing up for a membership for $41 a month when all I wanted was a simple answer to a problem which I thought was a one off payment. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
