I went to their site seeking to get an answer to a legal question. The site says it is free yet after filling out their questionnaire the site demanded $5 and my credit card info. No way on God's green Earth am I giving them my banking info. So they sold what info they had and now my emailbox is being inundated with lawyers who are all unwilling to give out free info.

I cancelled my account immediately after paying the $5 joining fee. Just Answer still went ahead and charge an extra $60 for the whole month. No refund.

Do NOT use this service. They are sneaky with their charges. They told me it would cost $5 for the first 7 days and $35 after that, yes they charged be $5 AND $35 the very first day. Additionally, when I spoke to the vet, she was very unhelpful. She just told me to get my dog to an in-person vet immediately and used a lot of fear in her explanation. She over exaggerated everything. Terrible for someone who gets anxious about things.

The chatbot promised to charge me a fully refundable $5 fee and did NOT specify otherwise anywhere. I only noticed as I had signed into PayPal that they were charging me $44 instead, so I stopped. It was not possible to answer the chatbot at that point so I closed the site.
It's interesting reading these how completely random both the initial and monthly fees are. That in itself is indicative of untrustworthiness.

Someone made fraudulent charges to my banking account for services with this company. I called to try and find out who the lady wouldn't tell me. She did tell me that I agreed to their terms and conditions for said membership however she couldn't locate any of my information phone number or email. I asked to speak with someone who could help also how to file a claim for fraudulent charges. She wouldn't give me information instead she told me that I had taken up enough of her time and she had other customers to help. There's no way I would do business with this company or recommend them to anyone.

I agreed to the monthly fee. The response I recieved was minimal but enough for me to know I needed additional legal help locally. Bit pricey to find that out but I did agree.
However they bill you monthly. I cancelled this the day I recieved my answer.
They kept billing me. Customer service was less than helpful. You really have to dig to get a phone number. I got one once I asked in their chat box.
Customer service claimed there was nothing they could do so I ended up play three times what I should have.
Just be very careful about engaging with them. It could cost you and there are better legal options available.

Consultant didn't directly answer my question, but did point me in a solid direction. However they do not wait until the next billing period to charge you. Ask your question and cancel IMMEDIATELY or you will regret it. There is free consultations everywhere, just find one of them and save yourself the surprise in the bank

First, they said you need to pay only 2 dollars and send me a link, and when I put my details in the link they charged me 88 dollars.
Later they said, it was a monthly membership but I never asked for a monthly membership.

Used it for tv problems. First a € 1 link and suddenly € 45 gone. The robot promised me a solution. Well, forget it. What they suggested I already found myself on the internet and that didn't help at all.

Say they have "experts standing by", "submit your credit card to be connected immediately", and no one is really there. And when they do connect you to an "expert", its just a bot answering questions to a script. And of course all they've done is start your "subscription" and charged your credit card immediately. STAY AWAY pure scam!

They advertise that they'll answer your question for $5 but they really charge you $5 plus and additional $39 as a monthly membership charge that they'll keep charging you every month until you cancel. Not only that, but their mechanics have no idea what they're talking about. The person they connected me to, which was supposed to take less than an hour but actually took until the next day, basically told me to consult a local expert. What a joke.

This "company" is a SCAM. I called 1800 727 139 to notify them of my mothers death and to cancel her membership. They continued to take $66.00 from her account for two months after her death. When I contacted this company to refund the $132.00 back into the deceased persons account. I was told they had no record of my call, and I was given multiple excuses as to why there would not be a refund. JustAnswer is a SCAM.

When I initiated my contact with them they said they would charge me $5. They charged me $5 plus another $46 for a month membership I didn't ask for. It made it sound like I was going to have the opportunity to decide whether I wanted it after I got my question answered. I believe they're guilty of deceptive trade practices and I'm going to contact the attorney general's office of the state in which they operate and see if I can have charges brought against them. Hopefully I can get other people that have the same feeling and we can get a class action lawsuit going.

Answer: I got scammed last year for just over $50k on what I thought was a legit investment site. Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
