Charged 8 times at $35 each time almost every 4 days. Tried to reach out to JustAnswer to cancel my membership and refund charges that my bank alerted me to. Through out September and October 2023 charged every few days. Complete scam company. Hundreds of dollars overcharged and stolen. Impossible to contact customer care. Recommend a class action lawsuit against the company for fraud and failure to address issues and concerns.
I was linked to this service via Interval International site and was offered a $2 question to be answered by JustAnswer. My question was answered after several minutes and really wasn't anything I didn't already know - so essentially worthless. I later find out that they have charged my credit card a monthly membership of $71. What a deceiving, unethical company. They state I consented to the membership fee, but I know I wouldn't have used this service if a membership fee was going to be charged. Several requests for a refund on my membership fee have been declined. Don't use or trust this service - it's useless and basically a scam!

Misleading ad - $5.00 charge to ask a question by text/chat. Polite expert replies by text. Apparently in the fine print (I didn't see it) you are automatically charged $45.00 for membership AND automatic renewal. I noticed the charge on my card and immediately called to cancel. They did not argue, cancelled the membership and refunded the payment.

I used just answer about a month ago. I paid my $1 trial charge, and then canceled my membership before it renewed. I tried to ask it a different question tonight. I was fully prepared to pay the $1 again, but thank God I only had $30 on that card, because they tried to take $46!

I was in need of an answer for some symptoms that my dog was having. I was under the understanding that it would be $5 since this was the first time using this site. WATCH OUT I WAS WRONG! THEY CHARGED ME $28 + $33. When I called explaining that I did not want a membership to cancel it and that I had no problem paying the$28 I was told to bad you have to pay the$33. Dirty way to do business especially when your upset about your fur baby. Will never use them again!

I was trying to reset my old password but microsoft would not let me, and Just Answer says no problem, and no worries, just sign up for a membership and we'll have you fixed up. They sent me to 3 of their best techs and none could answer. Beware No Refunds after you sign up, I cancelled as fast as I could, And they were very sorry they could not help. NOT SURPRISED THEY ARE BEING SUED, think I''l join.

Don't ever go for this guys, they charged me twice for one single answer, 93 dollars on total ( 1 dollars, 46, and 46 again) I try to get the money back but they don't care, the person on the other side of the conversation just end the text and live alone for 4 times, they are the worst and will take your money without your permission

Just Answer is a SNEAKY SERVICE SUBSCRIBING ME UNKNOWINGLY. I only used the service ONE DAY - March 16,2023, - in the middle of recuperating from one bad surgery, on my way to get it corrected. Had corrective surgery 4/5/23 & began moving out of Oregon back to CA the end of April. DUE TO ANESTHESIA from both the 11/8/22 and 4/5/23 surgeries, I was practically brain dead for memory between Nov 8,2022 and about May 15th and had ZERO recollection of this situation of even Texting Jim back. I never saw anything about this being an ongoing fee. UNTIL TODAY - Oct 5,2023 searching out line items on my Sears Credit Card. I had no idea I was being charged $46 every month since April 2023 because I don't get paper statements & the move process has overwhelmed me to the point I don't think I can do any of this any longer, it is terribly distressing!
I got the one most current one on your automated system refunded, but I cannot afford these 46 dollar charges for those extra 7 months! This has hit me profoundly hard today, as I just sat down to sort out how to pay for both a $12,000 Roof I knew this house I bought was needing, as well as a whole house HVAC System that broke 3 weeks after I moved in (103 degrees after Oregon Coast living for 9 years at 60 averages), for an additional $12,500.
The only Text Message exchange I had with Jim did NOT OFFER ME A WAY TO STOP AT THE BOTTOM, AND WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO REMEMBER TO SCROLL BACK UP TO TOP OF THAT MESSAGE TO FIND THAT OUT? SURGERIES WIPED OUT MY MEMORY OF ALL OF THIS! But those in Supervisory Positions "Mitch" was of NO HELP today, 10/5/2023

I was led to believe that I was paying for a 7-day trial membership for $1.00 and would be charged $55 if I did not cancel. I asked a question and didn't feel the service warranted such a high monthly fee so I cancelled the same day. 7 days later I was charged even though the cancellation was confirmed. When I called I was told, "Oh sorry. You didn't notice? If your question is answered you get charged." Excuse me? Don't ask! Vultures. Absolute scam.

After spending nearly 50$ on this service, the responses from the so called "professionals" were extremely generic, copied and pasted answers they clearly use between different users. After 2 hours of going back and forth with the "technicians" and their extremely slow response times, they had me fully reset my ssd drive, and when that didn't work, I was left with a "hardware issue" and I had to "organize" a repair with an in person technician and get my parts replaced under warranty. What the ACTUAL issue was, which I would find out after going to an actual independent third party technician, is that windows was corrupted by some driver I downloaded, and they were able to reinstall it, and that I never even needed to reset my ssd. DON'T USE THIS SERVICE YOU WILL NOT GET HELP. If that photo of Richard wasn't ai generated they can keep the 50$ I spent on this awful service.

My puppy ate a piece of foam and I was very concerned about her since she is just ten weeks old. Dr. Ben was chatting with me within three minutes of going to the website. His answers were clear, reassuring and to the point. Appreciated his professionalism and knowledge.
Was charged $46 to have a doctor tell me to see a doctor about a common issue I needed a prescription for. Website claims to write prescriptions but in the fine print, after you pay $46 for the doctor, you now have to sign up for a different service for more money to get a prescription sent to the pharmacy.

Make sure you talk to a representative to cancel or you still might get charged every month without knowing. Make sure they send an email with everything to cover your butt as well with the cancelation. Got charged for 4 months after canceling my account and they will not refund me, there are no refunds period.

My inquiry was to find legal direction to advocate for an inmate in jail whose health because of being in jail has caused physical health deterioration and life threatening condition to his heart, lungs, and major organs. We are caught in the middle of political lack of funding to jail to provide adequate health care to heal and restore. It is very, Very, VERY serious Thank you for your compassion and guidance.
When seeking an answer from a medical professional on justanswer, I agreed to sign up for the $5 join fee. When directed to the payment plan, nowhere did it explicitly state that I would become a member, as I was charged the additional $46 for the membership fee. It's been less than 24 hours and I have already canceled my membership. I tried requesting a refund, not for the join fee, but the $46 dollars I was not informed I would have to pay. I've repeatedly tried contacting the justanswer customer service, only to be met with the same response of "technical difficulties." They're customer service is terrible and the entire subscription plan is a scam. The quality of information and guidance you recieve from a medical professional is useful. It's the shady way that they frame their payment plan that I have an issue with. Will never use again.

Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
