I needed after hour vet advice for my sick dog so I called Ask A Vet. In July I was billed not only for the $5 but also $35 for a membership fee. I called them to cancel. In September my credit card showed another $35 charge. I called the company but they said I cancelled at the end of August so they billed me on the the 28th of August which is several weeks after I requested cancellation. They refused to reverse my charge and when I persisted the phone person said we were at an impass and she refused to talk further and hung up on me. An ethical business would not have done that. Very unprofessional behavior.
Did not answer my question and said they charge 5.00 but didn't disclose they also charged 37.00 to my account for nothing

Dino helped me safely turn off my gas oven when one of the burners got stuck on. I am not handy at all, so I don't know what I would have done without his help.
Joseph was excellent and knowledgeable knew what I needed to do right away, and very patiently walked me through the steps of repair.

They claim is only 1$ they charge and put the fact that it is a monthly charge in very small letters because they bank on you not seeing it and do not refund even though you have not used their services.

Did quick check on reviews once I realized it wasn't Microsoft. First up reviews said it was legit and it was urgent for me so clicked through to pay the $1...Chase (my bank) immediately contacted me about a fraudulent charge for $55 from JustAnswers.com. They obviously have them on their radar and declined the charge, but now I have to go through process to change credit card account number. So in addition to many other fraud claims, mine can get added to the pile; these people should be put out of business. Fortunately for me Chase stopped them.

I was charged $30/month for five months, $150 total for a service I didn't sign up for. In addition to the $150 loss, I had to get a different debit card number and contact those legitimate businesses I deal with. This company even had the nerve to send me a notice telling me I was being unsubscribed. You can't be unsubscribed if there was never a subscription in the first place.
If I had subscribed for $30/month, don't you think I would have used this so-called service?

Said online you would only be charged 1 dollar as I needed a question answered about my car and if canceled you would not be charged the 34 dollar membership fee. I canceled right after not getting a good answer and was still charged 34 dollars. They refused to refund me. That's one expensive question to get answered. I'll stick to Google.

Worst ever service, they lie about your payments. When you see again they keep withdrawing funds from your bank account. When you enquire about it they can't give you the answers you require. Be very careful before you give them your card details, they are very dodgy.

I had a good experience the first time I used the site but after that I have found it impossible to get connected with an expert so that I could send pictures. And when I finally got someone she quit midway through our conversation. The whole thing seems to be a big joke. I don't have time or space here to detail all the problems I've had.

The lawyer was helpful. Nothing bad to say about him. I do feel misled by the company. I signed but and it says $5 to send your question to the expert. Then if you want to connect it's $60 for a monthly membership. My chat popped up with the expert and it asked if I would rather talk on the phone. It was taking him some time to respond so I thought that would be quicker. It asked if I would pay $59 to talk to the lawyer and with the $5 here and $60 there I thought it was just not recognizing my membership. NO IT WAS AN ADDITIONAL $60! When i saw my bank account this morning I chatted to express my concern in the misleading nature of the extra charge. Membership clearly states connecting 1:1 with a lawyer is included. Should I have known it was extra? Maybe but the way I was suggested to chat on the phone to me was very misleading. I hope this helps someone else not get taken advantage of.

Answer: I got scammed last year for just over $50k on what I thought was a legit investment site. Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
