Chihuahua

Our Chihuahua had a loud dry cough that sounded like a cat coughing up a hairball. Vet was able to correctly diagnose and recommend medication. The coughing is almost gone 2 days later.

I mistakenly signed up for a free trial of something that was an error.
They helped me get a refund as I didn't know there was a charge for their services. I am 85 yrs. Old and was treated with respect and understanding.

Worth the Call

Read all the payment details. I should have known better. I didn't realize there was a membership fee and a monthly subscription charge, my fault I was anxious and rushed. You can however cancel after one month. I was very pleased with the doctors advice, understanding and thoroughness. I received the info I sought and a better understanding of my medical condition, he spent a good deal of time on the phone with me and followed up as well.

Ask the Vet

Had a late night question about my dog. No emergency service available and the Vet I connected with was able to help me understand the issue enough to keep my dog comfortable overnight. She did not need any additional medical review. A few days of home health care was all she needed. This was much easier than using search engines and trying to diagnose her issue myself.

They advetise and notify a small fee to have a question answer/use the site and make little to no notification you'll be charge a large monthly fee. Most reviews once after doing research after a negative personal experience show the same experience. An initial use of the site with a low charge then to notice a large charge in your bank account.

I spoke to two vets online. That was very fast and convenient. The phone chat request expired, unfortunately. Both were very polite and professional. They helped me as much as they could. However, they could not prescribe anything because I am in Canada. The pet product site associated to my account also dies not deliver to Canada. This greatly limits the efficiency and usefulness of the service. I would kindly suggest exploring the feasibility of extending to Canadian professionals and services. I was also unable to provide feedback on the "Help and Feedback" tab of my app. It requested I open an account for that. I have an open, paid for account.
