I've been dealing with a retail company which uses illegal business and marketing tactics. This has been going on for 2 months and can get no one there to listen or reply!
My Technician worked with me to get rid of this situation and thoroughly checked my phone to make sure nothing was compromised. She understood and realized the problem. We were in touch over a couple of days and I'm rid (I hope) of this place. They have feelers that extend into your phone, computer! I will ask for her if I have any more issues.

Unfortunately, I didn't originally "do the math" -- before asking to receive immediate benefits, starting at my 70th birth month (April 2025) -- at which time I received 132% of the amount that I would have received at my "full retirement age". Instead -- I could have chosen to get only 128% --- by invoking the "look-back" feature -- and "starting" my Social Security payments 6 months prior to my 70th birth month (when I applied). This would have resulted in an "up front" lump sum payment of (at least) $18,000 -- and would have reduced each monthly check by ONLY 4%. 100% / 4 = 25 months (Not too shabby a trade-off, eh?) And as a survivor, my wife will (eventually) receive a survivor benefit based on my benefit -- AT MY FULL RETIREMENT AGE (i. E., only 100% -- NOT the 102% -- or 128% -- that I receive.)
FORTUNATELY --- "Bobby" the IRS-Tax Specialist at Just Ask explained to me that I still have am couple of days remaining -- in my first year of receiving benefits -- during which I can CANCEL my original selection -- and re-select the better deal. (Even better -- because I had NOT selected Medicare B, C or D -- I won't have to calculate/refund any of their benefits.) Since I have a Home Improvement Line of Credit, I can afford to write the $42,000 check -- and pay a couple months interest, while I wait for my $18,000 bonus check to arrive. THANK YOU BOBBY! (You will definitely be getting a generous tip from me!)

Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
