I've dropped my dog three times when she easily slipped out of this collar. I hate this product. My sister-in-law gave this to us. I think she hates me. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
*Edited-I spoke with customer service through email, and they said they would accept the harness for return without the original tags. The return shipping fee is $7, but if they refund me the money for the harness, I'll be happy.

Ordered a Joyride Harness which turned out to be too small. When I tried to return/exchange it turned into a nightmare. They never sent a confirmation email with the order #. When emailed them I asked them to send me the order # so I could generate my return label. Now they say they can't find my order #. They respond by asking me for my order # so they can look up the order. You can only speak to a computer. There is no person to help you. So I am stuck with a harness I can't use. Stay away from this company. Total chaos trying to send back a simple return. Total rip-off

Look, you may see a few reviews on here about "Oh the strap loosens on their belly" ect. Its a Harness, you need to keep adjusting it to make sure it fits when you put it on your furbaby. What I will tell you is THIS HARNESS changed my walks from my dogs having control, to ME having control. It was clearest to me when someones dog got off leash, and came to viciously attack my shepard mix. My husband was walking BOTH of our dogs (both equipped with the harness) and was able to keep our Shepard, and our Corgi-Chow back DUE TO THE CONTROL THE HARNESS OFFERS. He kept them positioned behind him.
There were some injuries to our Shepard from the attacking dog, but because my husband was able to keep control of our dogs in the situation, he walked away with two scratches. Joyride will be the only harness I ever buy. In fact, I bought two more this morning, one for my mom's dog (Lab Mix XL) and a new one for my Corgi (We slammed the clasp in a door, and needed to replace it. Aka no fault to Joyride themselves.)

They use the same 1.5" belly strap and almost 2" buckle in the x-small as they do in the x-large. As you can see from the photos, they cut into my small dogs armpits making it very uncomfortable to walk. They end up stopping and sitting down until I adjust it, but it just creeps back up. As others have said, the strap loosens which makes it hard to keep the harness in place once I move it down. But, here's the really bad part. I purchased from Joyride and they are charging me $7.95 shipping AND a restocking fee! Complete and total rip off for a product that has to fit to be functional.
Update on the Joyride/Puglife Harness problems. Seems that their 'shipping partner' is "JET E-COMMERCE LOGISTIC INC' which is a Chinese forwarding company which works directly with the post office to deliver international packages from China to the USA.
Joyride may say they're in California, but that is just a front. Your harness is coming from China which is why it is going to take so long and you get the run around when you start asking where your package is. They prey on customers with their "giving back..." and "family business" front, meanwhile what you've really got is a Chinese company using a USA home address to do business. You can be that there isn't any family or facility in California, it's all bogus. Just Google "JET E-COMMERCE LOGISTIC INC" and you can get all the facts in just a click.

Like most companies you may be familiar with, we research and develop our products in house and send off to manufacturers in China - which, too, are tested and revamped accordingly to meet our requirements in quality. We have several warehouses that we ship from, our main warehouse being in Carson, California. However, with the high volume of international orders we receive, it was in the best logistical sense to place a warehouse overseas for those shipments. Available stock of each product is also a factor. This is a common practice with companies, and in no way does it devalue the quality of the product. We do apologize for the delay in communications and will take your comments to management for review.
Apollo is proud to wear his bright red Joyride Harness and now really enjoyed his walks. The bright harness easily slides over his head and the strap under his belly snaps on his the side. I have greater control and Apollo doesn't seem to mind because he is clearly comfortable. Thanks!

This harness has a faulty design which causes the waist strap to loosen. My dog was able to slip this harness over her head this morning, running away from me and almost getting hit by several cars. Buyer beware! If I could rate this with NO stars I would have! If you live your dog, skip this purchase.
I ordered my harness on the 20th of the month and paid for priority shipping on the 26 th they EMAIL the Due to the pandemic excuse shipping will take 7-10 days longer. We are over a year into the PANDEMIC. And they won't cancel the order. Stupid reason " Due to different lines of communication and hours of operation, we cannot intercept a recently placed order to modify or cancel it before shipment. Our orders do begin processing immediately once received which includes packing and awaiting dispatch, so requested changes cannot be submitted or honored at this time. ".
Expensive non working harness. I have a German Shepard and she slipped out several times because the harness loosened. The plastic part of the buckle broke. The "no pulling" doesn't work at all, she could care less. The hook for that should be in the front.

This company is a SCAM
I have been dealing with this company for 2mths now. I have received multiple emails stating they have a delay on my order. I then received an email stating I hope I enjoyed the product I received- I wrote them and explained I couldn't enjoy something I hadn't received. They then proceeded to write me another two emails stating it was still in transit but should be receiving it soon. They even dared to attach a USPS tracking number- are you surprised there was no found information with that tracking number. I wrote them twice now telling them that they truly have scammed me of my money that I work hard for, which lets be real, we all do, especially in the times of a pandemic.
I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by how this company has dealt with its customer service and distribution of product.
It took quite some time for my order to arrive. When it did arrive the ID tag engraved with my pets information that was supposed to be included was not. After contacting Joyride by email it took 5 days to get a response.
The response told me to take a picture of everything I receive to help them try to determine how to correct my problem. Essentially they're assuming we are all liars trying to get free tags. If someone was trying to steal something they very simply remove the tag from the items before taking the picture.
Are used to think this is a great product with the company is slow to respond and not very customer oriented. There are other harnesses out there and that's where I am looking now to find an alternative to Joyride products.
This is after a week of walking my 50lb dog with the double leash. The worst piece of crap. Emailed them. No response. They are the worst. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
I placed an order and they offered second harness at a discount. I clicked on offer to see what the total would be and they placed the order without confirming. I tried calling but their number for customer service will not allow you to talk to someone. It refers you to chat. I went to chat within minutes of my order that the chat rep said it is "too late" to change the order within 5 minutes of having placed it. This is crazy. I just ordered it 5 minutes earlier. AVOID THIS COMPANY! They are not reputable and now I will be forced to dispute a charge on my card.
February 22 and to date I have not received the Harness. I think I got caught in a scam, just setting up a web site to bate someone in to purchase give a credit card then not supply the product. All I keep receiving are text with adds. NO WAY! I tried calling and a recording answered put me on hold then stopped. I suggest not falling for this web site.
I've had nothing but great service and email contact from them. My first one got lost in the mail and they sent another right away. The only issue is the chest strap doesn't stay tight, it slips a little.
Ok, I gave it my last try. After only one long walk the girth strap (that goes underneath the dog and clasps) slips from a snug position all the way to a loose position! Very frustrating. The material is too slippery- nylon. On larger girth dogs it may not be a problem. But I'm very unsatisfied with this product!

I would NOT recommend ordering from Joyride Harness, I am very disappointed in the service we received when we placed an order for a backseat cover and silicone dog bowls. I have repeatedly contacted them for tracking and explained that I think the order has been lost but all I get from them on chat, because you cannot "contact them" any other way, and they say we are escalating it and I will will hear from the next dept. I have gotten this 3 times over an extended time and get the first auto message and nothing else. Don't tell me it is junk because I have looked many times... nothing...

"Oh we're so sorry." and all the other pat excuses to just wear you out until you give up any hope of ever receiving your order. I paid by debit card so that money is gone. I hope they choke on it.


The harness is not made to pick up and carry your dog. I am sorry you had this experience.
