Horrendous service

I ordered my cap and gown for graduation with plenty of time, my graduation continues to be pushed back but my photos had been scheduled and they said my order would ship within 7 weeks. I waited well over 7 weeks only to see that they extended it until 3 MONTHS LATER. I messaged them on twitter and tried contacting them numerous times but every link for help just takes you in a never ending loop. I got a message back on Twitter and they said I'd be able to cancel and after I asked if I could use that option they never responded even though I could see that they were reading my messages. They have some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Worst Services

Jostens have one of the worst service. Order my cap and gown from Jostens and they were terrible with my order. I ordered my cap and gown in April and have yet to received it and it is June. Every time i call, they give me redundant excuses. They ruined my graduation. They ruined the ability for me to take pictures in my cap and gown with my family. These excuse are bull$#*!. Sometime you will call and they will never answer your call or keep transferring you everywhere. I advised that you do not order from Jostens if you're trying to get your order on time and not go through their worst customer service. I regret ordering from them.

ONLY GAME IN TOWN

I paid $224.00 for a cap, gown, tassel, and announcements, key chain, name cards, and thank you cards.
I only wanted the cap, gown, and tassel but, since Jostens is the only place you can order graduation supplies from I had to order the entire "package". Due to COVID-19, the original graduation date, time and location changed so the announcements had the original information. We mailed the announcements out with the bad information and emailed the Jostens representative that I believed a partial refund should be issued due to the wrong information and Josten made no effort to contact it's customers about what to do. Our school graduated
June 1. On May 28 I received an email response from the local rep saying they are not offering any refunds but they are printing inserts to go into the announcements and how many would I like when they are ready... No date as to when the inserts may or if be available. If the other parents are like me they have already mailed the announcements with the wrong information. Future maybe, possibly inserts do no good. I understand Jostens could not control the changes in graduation locations and dates, but,, they could have made a better effort in creating inserts correcting the information and a better attempt to contact their customers about what to do. But, since this company has a monopoly on graduation supplies in Texas there is no need for them to attempt to make sure the one huge event in a child's life be memorable.

Wrong

I got my senior yearbook and not was my senior quote not even put in but my name wasn't even capitalized! It only happened to me. I spent almost 80 dollars on a yearbook that isn't even what I even ordered.

The Jostens located on Clarkson Rd. Did an amazing job on trying to help me honor my senior. Their customer service was nothing short of stellar. I am beyond impressed with them, and just wanted to say thank you!

I paid 139.00 for graduation announcements that are useless now that everything is cancelled, but the worst part of it was that I thought I was getting a cap and gown in the package I bought. No! That outrageous price didn't even include a cap and gown. When I finally figured it out I ordered my son a cap and gown and it was never delivered. I waited on hold for 90 minutes to make sure that my ordered would be delivered on-time. I finally gave up and hoped for the best. My son's graduation has come and gone and no cap and gown has ever arrived. This is what the person who FINALLY got back to me said, "We're sorry we inconvenienced you." Took my money, never delivered and they don't care. Awful company. I never do negative reviews but this was egregious!

Jostens is the worst company I have dealt with in a long time. I placed an order for graduation attire and 5 weeks later still have not received my order. You cannot e-mail and when calling you are on hold for at least an hour or more. Then their customer service is awful and they can basically tell you nothing. So awful to mess with people's graduation. Stay away from this company!

We ordered (school-specific) graduation announcements and name cards, and my dilemma was to find a 4x6 photo card template that was highly customizable and would fit into the graduation announcements. I tried 4-5 different companies' photo card templates and became so frustrated with the prescribed photo and text layouts with no ability to customize as we wished. Then I started using the Jostens photo card template and created a design that turned out amazingly beyond our expectations. We were able to choose a matte (like a cardstock paper) finish, rather than a glossy photo. On the front side of the card, we featured our graduate's photos, school insignia, and basic text. On the back side of the card, we were able to feature a photo with the graduate's chosen school and major, as well as information about the planned graduation party.
Even in the middle of the COVID pandemic, we allowed a bit of extra time, and they arrived in a timely manner. We couldn't be more pleased with the professional appearance of the cards. They fit perfectly into the announcements (even though the graduation date has been pushed to later in the summer, we decided to send the announcements along with the (also postponed) grad party information.
Our Jostens sales rep, Randy Storts was also very helpful in providing answers to our questions along the way. Thank you to Jostens for making this a worthwhile experience!

I ordered a number of items for my senior and did not receive the $18 mini tassel mascot. I have tried email them so that they can rectify their mistake but cannot get to an email do circular linking that takes me back to the page that I started from after following all their prompts. So I tried calling and was on hold for OVER 4 hours. See attached image. However when you call them after hours, they're sure to let you know, via voicemail, that they are no longer in the office and "can be reached during normal business hours central time". The irony in all of this is that their website, that's takes your orders and money works just fine. I will never use these service ever again!

Finally received the long awaited Jostens package, which should have been here before May 1st, it is May 20th. Emailed them about this earlier, never received an reply. The online receipt shows it was shipped April 17th. Not so. Today May 20th, when we received and opened the FedEX envelop (which was send May 18th, a month later than stated on the receipt) the ring box is inside, however no ring to be found. On hold with customer service for over 45 min and still waiting. Does anyone even work there? Or did they mess up every order this year. It is a disgrace.

The worst customer service. I tried to cancel my order, but they don't allow cancellations. I paid for express shipping. That basically means nothing. Graduation is tomorrow and I haven't even receive my announcements.

TERRIBLE

I ordered my daughter's graduation package online because I thought it would be easier. If I had known that it would have made my life infinitely harder, I would have just ordered with the rest of the parents at the school. First of all, they marked that I had received a frame that was a part of my package that I did not get nor did my daughter get as she was told everything would come in the spring. It is now May and her graduation is in about two weeks. She is missing tassels (which I would have loved to have for her senior pictures but they didn't get them to me on time) and her diploma frame. I spoke to my representative and he assured me that it would be delivered as soon as possible. As I was tracking the package that was only hours away from being delivered, it suddenly said returning instead of out for delivery. Apparently the package was damaged in delivery as was returned to the sender(Josten's) without even notifying me. I have now been on hold with Josten's for almost 2 hours and my daughter's tassels might not even show up in time for graduation. And what's more, students across the state are taking their senior pictures in their cap and gown and my daughter's school only gets them a week before graduation? I had senior pictures scheduled for much earlier but I have had to reschedule and continue to push it back because of Jostens.

So Jostens came to Monroe Central in woodsfield, Oh for are graduation packages! Brad Held was the sales Rep, Brad offered a Swiss Hills golden ticket! It was one of the packages they offered! So my son brought it home with the other offers as well! We decided to buy the golden ticket! Its going to be 333.40 because by put 80 dollars down You got a discount and save 140.00! So I sent Krystain back to
Swiss Hills with a 100 check for my deposit! Well I wish I would've never ordered anything but a cap and gown because they charge me $418.43 for this package! I didn't even receive the scarf that was included in the package! I have contacted Jostens multiple times they want nothing to do with resolving the problem they just keep telling me to contact the rep well I have he's the one that stole my money and didn't give me all my order! So basically they charged me $418.43 for a package that was three 333.18 and didn't give me a scarf and they charge me extra for a Shepard shirt that was included in the package and no matter how you do the math their short money whether they charge me for the extra shirt or not! Known one Can explain to me where my money went! I wouldn't recommend Jostens for a damn thing they are the worst company, I've ever dealt with in my life! They won't even contact me back anymore so disappointed in them very sad that my son on his senior year had this experienced! It's supposed to be a spectacular memory! I have every piece of paperwork to prove that Jostens rip me off! Im not the only one! I know other parents That's got charge the same thing for the same package!

Today, our senior class caps and gowns were supposed to be available for pick up at the Virginia Beach location. We had scheduled times when we were to arrive. First, the directions were absolutely ridiculous, and a group of us noticed each other driving in circles. One in the group had found Jostens, and the note on the door that stated they had decided to close early, because of weather (it was raining). So, anyone whose graduate's names were assigned times after 12:00PM, were not able to pick up their paid for items. In addition, the sign on the door stated that they would be rescheduling for May 26th, almost an entire month away.
HORRIBLE customer service, especially with everything going on right now. Our graduates may not even have a ceremony; it would be nice if we could get their caps and gowns to have pictures taken! Jostens, you should be ASHAMED of yourselves.

I contacted Jostens regarding a refund on my order for my childs cap and gown and accessories. I was told because the school has stated they are postponing the ceremony with no actual date in mind which when i contacted the school was told possibly September they were not doing refunds at this time but once they get a confirmed date they would then and only then discuss wether they would issue refunds. I feel this is wrong my son will not be walking in September or any other date. School is basically over and he does not want to walk months after his supposed graduation date. I think it is wrong that i have paid for a product that will not be used and jostens will not refund these items. I find this to be Bad Business and in my opinion this makes them theifs. I understand this is an unprecedented time but we should have the option at this point wether we choose to have our kids walk or not and refunds should be an option

My order is over 13 days late and there is no tracking on where it is. I've been emailing them every few days but they never respond except with a short universal message for my school. Some other students have got their stuff and while I understand why its late they kept making promises after everything shut down for our school to have gotten everything almost 2 weeks ago and to contact their representative. I have not gotten any response from said representative and would just like to know if they have finished or started to ship my order. Currently I feel like they stole $114 from me and I will continue to feel like that until they communicate with me and send me my order. I don't care that its late I just want it in time for grad rehearsal or to at the very least receive what I paid $114 to get. Jostens has horrible customer service.

My college diploma was delivered to the wrong address and then sent back to the original sender which was Jostens in Shelbyville, TN. I called and was transferred 6 times. Until I got into a screaming match because their customer service rep kept saying "call your school we don't handle diplomas" WHICH you obviously do if you have my damn diploma at your office and you sent it out in the first place. I kept saying I already called my school and was simply trying to get someone to confirm with me that they had my diploma and it wasn't out there lost or something. I'm in $40,000 worth of debt for that piece of paper. And literally it ended after an hour of me finally just hanging up because the employees obviously have zero idea that the company they work for WORKS WITH DIPLOMAS.
