Whatever you do, do NOT order from this vendor. I ordered a dress online in the standard size 8. I received the dress and it did not fit well and was missing one of the clips in the back to keep the dress together. After talking with their customer service, they said that they could not offer me a refund since my dress was custom made which it was NOT. I ended up issuing a chargeback with my bank because this place was such a scandal. Upon issuing the chargeback, JJ's reached out and said that they had noticed that I issued a chargeback with the bank, and that they would give me a full refund if I shipped the dress back to their address in China. In the shipping instructions, they specifically told me to NOT use Fed Ex or UPS, but instead use the local post service. I ended up shipping with USPS to their specified address in China and paid out of pocket to return the dress. I followed up multiple times for a couple of months and they claim they "never received the dress". At that time, the timeframe to fight the chargeback had lapsed (since I was dealing with the vendor directly) and I could no longer get my money back. I also realized that USPS has no tracking in China which is why they told me to send the dress via standard post office. I talked with the bank and they basically admitted that this place committed fraud by coaxing me to work with them directly in sending the dress back and then stalling long enough on the return to have the timeframe for the chargeback lapse. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS!

I was so nervous to order online, I've heard people say awefuk things about JJshouse so I was feeaking out. I know that a few girls from my school who ordered online got a dress that was too big. But if you are going to order online, you do need to take into consideration that these people don't know your body shape and have never seen you before. I got mine customised to fit my body. I highly recommend it, as this will give them a brief understanding of what body shape. My experience was easy, and was dress was even prettier than the photo. I got it in two weeks, and I ordered it in white. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a dress, just put in your measurements for an extra $28 I think it was. I only need to get the end trimmed a little as I may trip when I'm dancing, but I'm in love with my dress!

I never received my dress, they it was delivered to a neighbour. They have caused so much upset and stress and do not care. I have put my wedding on hold because I cannot afford another dress until I get a full refund but they keep asking for the same information and we are not getting anywhere

Custom ordered my daughter's prom dress (feeling a little leery of on-line order) The service was excellent the dress arrived and fit her like a glove and so beautiful! The estimated delivery was exact.
I am super happy with this purchase and will order from here again :)

I ordered 3 dresses & 2 of them were too big & wanted to return them. After going back & forth with the customer service & getting the run around, they said they'd pay a percentage of alterations for the 2 dresses! This company is a SCAM! Don't buy from them! Customer service is awful!

I was so disappointed! The dress looked nothing like the picture. I ordered the dress custom, according to my measurements, but it still needed major alterations! When I got it altered, the woman said that this was the worst made dress she had EVER worked on (she's been doing this work for 30+ yrs!), and if anyone ever brings her one like it, she will refuse to do it! I had to try the dress on for her 4 times and it still wasn't perfect! You are ordering straight from china... horrible quality! It cost me $90 to have the dress altered to fit me acceptably (still not a perfect fit).

****When JJ'sHouse saw my first (one star) review on here, they contacted me wanting me to return the dress for a refund. I told them I would not return the dress after putting an additional $90 into it. They eventually offered to reimbursed me the $90 I had paid to have the dress altered (in exchange for removing my 1 star review). ****

I was pleasantly surprised they reimbursed my alteration costs, but the whole ordeal was such a hassle... I am giving them 3 stars based on customer service, NOT product quality.

I ordered a dress from JJHouse and after I ordered it I read some terrible reviews. I got so worried that what I ordered would be made of tissue paper or something of the like. When my dress arrived I had to pay 75.00 duty and taxes which I did not expect but other than that I have nothing but great things to say about the prompt delivery, and the excellent quality of the dress. I would not hesitate to order again from this company I don't understand with all the complaining was about... so I decided to write this review to let others know, I SAID YES TO THIS DRESS!

Appalling service, arrived in very small box all dresses squashed & crumpled up. Dresses poorly made, beads missing, stitching not stitched properly, embroidery missing, cheap material also. I emailed them over x-12times & sent photos of all the faults, and customer service just ignored my complaint/issues with the dresses. They took ages to refund my money and then had the cheek to deduct the coupon code from the dress price, when i paid over £250 for my order. Ridiculous shipping charges £35 and none refunded, they just ignored and offered me £5 off there site. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN AS WOULD NEVER SHOP AGAIN THERE EVER!
Found a better site in USA, with much better service and only too pleased to help you.

The company provides nice clothing, pretty good quality but they will do anything they can't to prevent you from returning items. They only allowed me to return a dress after I wrote a nasty review, but they have now refunded me and allowed me to return the dress. Only order what you plan to keep!

Firstly I'd like to point out that I believe any positive reviews on here a likely to be the work of an employee of JJS House or people that have not had to return an item!
We ordered a SIZE 14 dress which should fit perfectly. It turned up with SIZE 16 labels and a LOT bigger than the measurements provided for a size 14. They admit that they have sent a size 16 to us but to try and get out of shipping costs and a refund JJS House insist the size 16 has been incorrectly labled and is in fact a size 14!
They think we are stupid. We are left with a dress TOO big and alternations to pay for. NOt happy:(
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, read ALL the reviews. They are rip off merchants

This company has beautiful dresses but they do not accept returns of any kind for any reason. So if you purchase a standard size dress (i. E. NOT custom made to your measurements), they will tell you that you cannot return it. However, if you continue to pressure them and refuse to accept their offers, you might be able to get a satisfactory solution after spending a great deal of time on it and jumping through many hoops - including a short window to return dress requiring special deliver postage and signatures. And, their customer service links don't work. Only after pleading my case for weeks and refusing to accept anything less than a full refund, did they finally start treating me like a customer instead of someone they were trying to cheat.

This is the initial response I received. I was shocked.

We are so sorry that the dress does not fit you well. Please be assured that we did make the dress in the size you offered. You may refer to the attached photos of your dress taken before shipment.

We totally understand that sometimes standard size dresses may not fit well as customized dresses. Here we have worked out the following ways to solve your problem out:

1) According to our dressmakers, you can go for a local tailor or a professional seamstress to have the dress re-sized. And we are willing to offer you 15% refund of the dress value to share the cost. (Customer response: A dress that is too small can't be resized -- there isn't any fabric).

2) If re-sizing is not possible, we are willing to offer you a 25% discount coupon code to buy a new dress in correct size. And custom size is highly recommended. Meanwhile, you can keep the dress. (Customer reaction: How nice -- I can keep the dress I paid for that I CANT WEAR).

Please let me know which one you prefer and we will process that for you. Thank you for your time.

I was worried ordering this dress because of the strict return policy (which I was well aware of, as I took the time to read the fine print before ordering, which a lot of other people apparently did not do), but I am pleased to say that the dress is absolutely beautiful, extremely well-made, and fits me perfectly. I ordered it on April 22, it was shipped on April 27th, and I received it today, May 1st. I received both an order confirmation and a notification of shipment from the company, which was much appreciated. The dress was well-packaged and had not a single wrinkle in it when I removed it from its wrappings. I normally wear a size 6 or 8, so I ordered a 10 based on the sizing information on the website. I did not opt for custom sizing, yet the dress fits me as if it was made for me. It is the prettiest dress I have ever owned, even prettier than it was in the picture. I am excited to wear it at my daughter's wedding later this month, and look forward to wearing it for other occasions in the years ahead. I will definitely order from JJ's House again when I need an occasion dress.

I am trying to return the dress which hasn't been worn and tags are still attached. It is impossible to find a return address and when you message them (China) they come back with this offering: give me 10% and keep the dress or 20% off a purchase. Horrible Company. Be aware and stay away.

I ordered a pair of shoes from this company. The shoes were way too big. Their sizes do not correspond to US sizes. I contacted them and was told I can ship the shoes back at my own expense and they will issue a credit or I can keep the shoes and receive a 50% credit for the purchase price. Either way, I was not getting my money back. They do NOT tell you this when you order. I elected not to ship the shoes back since I have no idea how much the shipping charge would have been but STILL WAITING FOR THE 50% CREDIT! They never sent me the 50% credit. Shameful
