Ordered a dress on sale and one not on sale.
The dress on sale arrived ripped from the inside. I have been back and forth with emails and "ticket" codes for 2.5 weeks and still no refund of the agreed 40%.
As far as I'm concerned, there's no excuse for not accepting a return for a ripped dress in the first place! The return should have been processed instantly.
The return and communication process is so complicated. Eventually when I got a ticket "code" to enter into a link in order for them to process my refund... the link to the ticket wouldn't work! I have emailed them twice and submitted further 2 "tickets" and spoke to them on the "online chat" section once so far - they have either not responded or responded saying they'll resolve the issue then I don't hear back.
Absolutely terrible.
I also wanted to return the dress I bought not on sale.
The store don't pay for postage to return faulty items or items you want to return.

I'm not sure if the company just does this so that the customer gives up/gets fed up trying to process a return so that they don't ultimately return the product.
Also, their phone number rings to Hong Kong - so it's a call to a country abroad that you have to make to actually speak to them!
I ordered a size 12 pant suit the shirt is made very disproportionately and 3 sizes too small. They will only let me have in store coupon for something comparable, or 40% refund. Clearly this is a rip off! I will never shop here again or recommend their company.
I never leave reviews, but I just don't want anyone else to ever go through the nonsense I have had to go through. I ordered a customized dress that had a defective zipper and did not fit correctly. I tried to get the zipper addressed, but they would only refund once the item is returned and then mail out an entirely new one. After hearing that other bridesmaids were also having problems with their zippers (plus with the wedding having a short engagement), I decided to take it to a tailor for the adjustments since JJ's House claims that they will reimburse if you have to have adjustments made for your customized dresses. I submitted my receipt to get my refund. They state to wait 3-14 days to get processed to the method of original payment. I waited the 14 days and wrote back to customer service again that I did not receive a refund. (The most frustrating thing is that they are international so you can call and talk to someone to have this quickly resolved.) I received a message back that they already refunded me. I looked back once again looking through every single transaction on my credit card and was NOT refunded. I'm messaging back again but I have a feeling this is a lost cause. I cannot believe how frustrating this was. Please, do not EVER shop there. And if a bride says she is using this for her bridesmaids dresses, beg and plead with her to change her mind because this was the worst experience I have ever had in all the weddings I've been in. Just absolutely terrible and so unhelpful.
First, I have been in the process of returning a dress for 7 weeks. They wanted a picture of the dress on my daughter before they'd consider the return. Then I finally got to send it back and I was never credited. I emailed them again and multiple times they said they hadn't received my package. Luckily I had a tracking number and miraculously they found it but then only reimbursed me for half. Luckily I track these things. I emailed again. Not they have refunded more but I'm still missing $24 which now becomes principle. Never shop there unless you know you will definitely not need to return it.
-Dress size inaccurate (Ordered according to the size chart and the dress i receieved was at least 2 sizes too small even though i ordered a small)
-Fabric quality was cheap plus had a smell (which was disappointing because their dresses are not cheap)
-Non-existing customer service (tried to submit a return ticket with a photo attachment which was required but when navigating the website it said "submission failed"?. I recieved an automated email saying someone will contact me in 24 hours but its been 3 days and no one has contacted me back. I went on their website and tried their "live chat" option which was a DEAD END, it was just a blank page...
Now i have this smelly dress that doesnt fit and i spent almost 200$ on it and can't return it. THIS WEBSITE IS A SCAM! STAY AWAY!
Do not buy from JJ house. They do not stand behind their product and their product is not reliable. The fabric failed 3 months later, they must use a chemical product on the bodice of lace that leeched into the chiffon but it takes a few months for this to happen

I purchased my wedding dress, my girls' flower dress and junior bridesmaid dresses, 2 petticoats, and a belt from this site. I spent over $400 and became very nervous after reading the reviews on this site. My dresses were PERFECT! Absolutely gorgeous, and the junior bridesmaid dress was even prettier in person than in the picture.
My shipment came 2 days BEFORE it was even scheduled to SHIP! I bought a petticoat for myself and my daughter. Mine was ripped and also too long, so I wanted to return it. I was given 3 options due to the inconvenience of shipping it back: 1) keep it and they would issue a 50% coupon for a future purchase, 2) Keep the item and receive a 40% refund for the purchase, or 3) ship the item back to receive a refund. I selected option 3, they e-mailed me a pre-paid label for me to ship it back and once it processed, I received my refund minus the shipping fee.
I have nothing but positive things to say about this company, and I'm sorry to those who have had bad experiences, but mine was great!
It is NOT a trust store at all. They sent me a dress that is damaged, has a very poor quality and several markings, which are clearly visible over all on the dress, particularly on the front side. I cannot wear this dress at all.
The dress costed 158. After an intensive exchange of messages, they offered a maximum refund of only 40%(ca. 62)!
Also, I had described this situation in my review at JJsHouse website and it is nowhere to be seen on their website. This explains the fact that you can only see positive reviews on their website.
I ordered 3 dresses with custom size. Dresses came on time but way too big. Then, they offer me 10% (43$) of the dresses value to have the dresses altered when a seamstress asks me 200$ to do alterations in 3 dresses.
09/26/19 customer service apologizes and offer me 40% refund which I agree with so that I don't become a complete loser. In one word, if your not happy customer service will try to find a better agreement with you.
09/27/19 customer service asks me to change rating to 4 or 5 to actually get the 40% refund. So I am doing it. I will keep you updated on how this goes.
Do NOT buy from JJs House! Ordered a "custom size" dress for my granddaughter to be a junior bridesmaid. Measurements were taken by 2 different seamstresses following the instructions on the website. Measurements were triple checked by each seamstress. The next day the order was placed, again triple checking that correct measurements were put on order. Dress arrived with a bust measurement that is 2 inches smaller (24 inches i stead of 26 inches) than ordered, AND dress has an obvious snag in it. Customer support acknowledges that "manual production errors do occur" but refuse to accept responsibility. Only offer is a 40% refund and to have dress altered on my own. Unable to alter dress to fit because it is 2 inches too small! This company is unethical.
Terrible experience, they would not EXCHANGE my daughters flower girl dress for a different size. They will not process returns or exchanges. You will lose your money if you are not satisfied with your purchase
I am extremely happy with JJ's House, the dress I ordered was processed and shipment began very quickly. The dress fit perfectly and looked incredible as well as the shoes I ordered. I had some troubles along the way and JJ's House was on the ball and assisted me in every matter. Amazing is all I can say!
They took over a week to process my order and charged me 20.00 for expedited shipping. I contacted them to cancel it since it wouldn't arrive in time for my wedding. They ignored me and shipped it out the next day. They told me to let it be delivered and we would work out a solution then. Now, they refuse to give me a monetary refund. They want to give me a store credit.

I was promised a full refund for a poorly made dress. I never received the refund. I have had numerous emails from them. The latest is that they are now engaging in bribery. They do not like that I posted a negative review on this site. Although they have failed to give me my refund for almost 2 months after receiving my returned dress, they now are lying to me that they will refund if I remove this review. They are lying. I don't trust this company and I have filed a consumer complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. I have attached the email they sent. Please read and never buy from this very shady and unethical company.
I was initially nervous about ordering a formal dress online where I had to provide the measurements myself. However, I took my fabric measuring tape and took my daughter's measurements. I submitted the order and was provided a 2 - 3 week shipping/completion timeline. To my absolute delight, the dress was shipped out within 4 business days and arrived in the USA 3 days after shipping. The dress was PERFECT! The fit was PERFECT! My daughter is so very happy with her dress and she can't wait to show it off. Thank you!
I am right on the border of a M and a L, and ordered one of both - figured I could return the other, right? They called me FROM CHINA to tell me I had to pick one because they don't do returns because everything is made custom. A LARGE and a MEDIUM are custom made? WTH? I cancelled my order - that's called the cost of doing business in the internet age. Craziest thing I have ever heard.
So this is my second review. I was contacted by the company asking me to remove my first review, which I won't. This only infuriated me even more. It's been 2 months and they still have not refunded me. I sent the dress back the day after I received it. They even sent me an email with a fake receipt saying I was refunded on a specific day, which I wasn't. This website is a scam. Do not order anything from them. They have no customer service number so dealing with them I strictly through email. Impossible.

Answer: It's risky. They have a NO RETURN for any reason policy. Doesn't fit - too bad. Doesn't look like picture - too bad. Don't think that Paypal will help you, they will usually rule that what you got is "substantially similar" to what you ordered. I paid for custom and told them that I am a size 4/6 in the front and a 10/12 in the back because I swim and that I have small bubbies and wear an A cup. I sent multiple measurements, taken by a professional. I got back a dress that would fit a 6 foot tall Dolly Parton. Maybe if you are perfectly proportioned, or if you are ordering something that isn't a garment, you will have better luck. For me, they saw a 38 inch bust measurement and assumed that I am a DD cup. They didn't listen to anything that I told them. I know that there are computer programs that you input a bust, waist and hip measurement and it spits out a pattern. Maybe that is what happened with me. My A cup bubby in that DD cup dress was certainly humorous. On the plus side, it did look good from the back. You should also know that it costs about 5.00 to ship something from China to the US, but that it costs about 45.00 to ship the same thing from the US to China. I had no complaints about the fabrics used, or the amount of time it took to arrive or the packaging. My complaint is that they totally ignored my description of my body. I recommend that you just pay a little bit more and drive to a store and try on dresses if you aren't a perfectly sized body. The "Norton Secured Seal" that JJ's employee is talking about has nothing to do with the merchandise, it just means that the website is safe from malware.

Answer: I cannot speak for the location as I live in the UK but I was very impressed with my wedding dress - I did pay the extra 20 pounds or so for them to use my exact measurements, however. The dress was stunning.

Your customer service dept Sucks and your scamming people out of there hard earned $$$, I think the newsroom should get involved here we are having the same problem with size, order off your size chart, gown gets delivered and like to size s to small could ny even get the zipper up!

Answer: Dont touch this company I got a dress from them in total cost £160 there was a fault with the jacket and they would take it back, there is no hassle free returns. Then when I posted a bad review they said they would give me a refund and sent me a returns form with an address to where to send the dress. I sent this recorded delivery as JJS house requested and when Royal Mail went to deliver it they refused to take it. Avoid like the plague
Answer: I would suggest you find your garment locate. My reason for suggesting to shop locatebis that you can return or exchange without dealing with a return policy that would cost you money. Before you decide to purchase from this company, look up their reviews and complaints on JJ'S HOUSE. It's better to have a good buying experience as oppose to dealing with a hassle when your event is suppose to be a good experience. Good luck.
