I ordered a dress on January 24,2020 for my son's wedding. It was guaranteed to be shipped out by 2/25/20. On 2/27 it still was not shipped. I have to relay my concerns through a chat with a fake person, with a fake Americanized name and a model photo. I told that my order would not be sent to me until 3/25/20, due to the Corona Virus. I told them to cancel it because that was after my son'e wedding Day on March 14. I was assured that it would be cancelled and that I would hear from "My manager" within 24 hours. Two days later I chatted again, stressed that I needed my refund ASAP to buy another dress (from who knows where) for my son's wedding. I was once again assured that the "manager" would contact me in 24 hours. It is now Three days later. ANOTHER CHAT, another promise to call within 24 hours. But on this call I learned that 1.) the factory is operating again. 2.) They have 6,000 claims 3.) My order is NOT cancelled! It can only be cancelled by the manager... who will call in 24 hours. For all of the people who are telling you not to listen to bad reviews... SHAME ON THEM! There should be a way to cancel an order, or a system put in place for delayed shipment after the event that a person ordered the dress for... this is a typical scam. If they do not cancel the order, and I get the dress aft4er the wedding, because it is a "custom order" I will not get my money back. It is wrong and it is shady!
My advice, start looking at all the sales at all of the stores the minute the engagement is announced, don't order from this company to "save money". I called Pay Pal and registered a claim, thank goodness for Pay Pal.
I ordered a dress for my daughter for a family members wedding. After two weeks, the dress was still no show. I attempted to contact several times, but only received automated messages. I had to order a last minute replacement somewhere else. When I still did not have the dress in four weeks time! I again kept trying to contact to recieve a refund for a dress I never laid eyes on. Their response was, "We can give you a coupon." I am very upset and had a horrible experience with this company. Money down the drain!

Ordered a bridesmaid's dress custom made (i. E. gave them my measurements because I'm short with bigger breasts). Dress arrived within timeframe however the fit was horrible, so big! Nothing like it looked online. I'm 8-10 size so it should have fit similar to the one online... Nope! It was ridiculous! I took photos and sent them to them and they just said 'sorry, here's $90 back of the $300 you paid, you can go get it altered'. Pathetic. I took it to two different dressmakers and neither could do anything apart from cut it up and keep the bottom half and turn it into a skirt :( The other two bridesmaids had similar experiences. One of them was offered more money back if she didn't leave a bad review. We all ended up having to buy other dresses elsewhere. I don't know how they are still in business. Just awful!
I ordered a dress for my daughter for my wedding and it was WAY to big on her. I asked for an exchange, not my money back, and they said no. Tons of money down the drain. Do not buy from them as they don't honor returns. And to think I was going to buy my other daughters dress from here too.

I am trying to cancel my order as it is not going to be delivered before my wedding. I ordered a flower girls dress from this company on 01-20-20 and was told it would be shipped on 02-15-20 on 02-18-20 I checked to make sure it had been shipped only to find that it had not even been made yet and it would be at least a month more before it would be ready so I cancelled the order it is now 02-26-20 and after many decisions with their customer service representatives I still haven't received a refund. I have been given nothing but excuses and the runaround. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and found numerous complaints against this company. If you write a review on their website they must approve it before it is posted so the reason they have such a high score is because they control what reviews we see. BUYERS BEWARE!
On January 20 I was in communication with their chat team to verify if a specific dress and size would arrive in time for my February 22 wedding date. They told me I had to order that day, send a picture of my ID and Cc (with all info redacted but the name) and it would guarantee arrival on February 16. By February 17 with no package received, I sent a reply on the status of shipping to their email ticket informing me of the priority delivery date. I did not get a a response. So on February 20 I got on their chat to follow up. I was told that the item was scheduled to ship mid March. I asked for a cancel and refund, the chat person then created a ticket and an email was sent to cancel the order. On February 24, I get an email with a shipping notification. I get on their chat again and they said they can't cancel because it's been shipped. On February 25, I get a response through email that I can't cancel the order again because it shipped, I explain to them that they guaranteed my order and the wedding date has already passed and ask for a refund, they still say they can't. The same day, I contact DHL and they tell me there is no movement on the package. On February 26, the shipment tracking now says it will arrive on March 3. This is 9 days after the wedding date and 15 days after the date is was supposed to arrive. It's been so difficult to any real customer service from them.
The minute I asked to cancel, it seems they rushed to create shipping label so to tell me that can't cancel.
I have ordered 5 other times from this site for my February wedding date and items came without much issue, but the minute they mess up, they won't own up to it. So just be very conscientious when ordering from them. I know this will be my last order from them and will tell everyone I know how stressful they made this order for me.
I would love to know what sense there is in refusing to cancel/refund my order prior to shipping it? The site says that I have to wait for them to ship it from China and then return it to get a refund. Wish I would've read this before - MAJOR RED FLAG!

I ordered my bridesmaid dress on 1/17/20 and received a promised ship date of 2/12/20. I have been checking the website daily to see if my order has shipped. I sent an email to support inquiring about my order. Received a generated email saying someone will respond within 24 hours... 3 days later and no one has responded. I decided to reach out via chat on their website even though there's a disclaimer that says the chat representatives don't have access to order info. The rep Juereen tells me my dress is now not due to ship until 3/25 because of the Coronavirus... the wedding is on 3/7! I told her I would not need the dress on 3/25 because the wedding will be over! She offered me a 10% refund or a discount off my next order. Utterly ridiculous! I now have to go find a dress hopefully in the same color. I am demanding they cancel my order and issue me a FULL refund! I am LIVID at the lack of communication and poor customer service by this company. What was supposed to be a happy time has turned into a nightmare.

Up until recently I never had a bad thing to say about them but they have gone downhill in my books very fast! A friend had ordered a dress in JANUARY that was to be dispatched February 15. No dispatch email came. So we contacted them through email and Facebook. Got one response off them on messenger to say they'll email my friend regarding her dress. It is now February 21st and still no email and now they won't answer our queries! She then posted a negative review here and they contacted her immediately! They said they will refund her if she takes the bad review down! Absolutely disgraceful customer service I'm never recommending JJ's House to anyone ever again!
Unfortunately my experience was the same - I hadn't realized customized dresses weren't returnable to i canceled the order within 10 minutes of placing and submitted new order (on advice of chat) and now keep getting told they have high emails but promised response with in 12 hours - that was 24 hours ago and all 4 of my tickets are still sitting in processing.
My chat today I was told the cancellation was being considered and for the 2nd order - i could cancel and get 10% off next purchase (not happening), or 10% refund of the items value - which according to their cancellation policy - 24-72 hours it should be 80% + shipping/fee and 100% within 24 hours which both of my orders were done at.
I have canceled both orders now and I am filing disputes with my credit cards. NO longer trust I will actually see the wedding dresses or refunds.
Finally got to speak to an agent. I have been told that my dress is not yet ready and that due to the virus they have suspended deliveries. This is BS as I have recieved other items I have ordered from China. They are telling me that my dress is not ready because of the virus yet I ordered in January. Absolute joke. You do not get any communication from them unless you post a review here. So guys when you read this and ask me to take it down again please note I will continue to post negative reviews daily unless I receive my order BEFORE 7 March
I wanted to order 3 dresses for my daughter's engagement party in March: 2 of same dress in different size, and then a second style. I intended to return which ones I did not choose. I ordered, then received an email saying they would not allow someone to try and then return - that I could only order one dress. Of course, that is not how online shopping typically works, and we all know dress sizing is particularly tricky. I want to cancel, and am trying, but am worried reading reviews of people trying to cancel without response! This is not a reasonable business practice!

I ordered a dress around January 20 with standard delivery of 14 days. It's now February 15th and no dress no communication until I called them. Getting this response. " First of all I am really sorry for our late delivery. Because of the virus, we are fighting the virus all over China, all express delivery in China has stopped, and factory workers are quarantined at home. But please rest assured, the virus is already under control, and we will ship immediately once the government allows resumption of work. And do a good job of disinfection of goods. We believe and have confidence in defeating the virus. Please trust us and China. If we can't catch up your date, we will cancel your order and apply for a refund for you."
Though it way took longer than expected to arrive it was packaged nicely and actually really well made for the price. Would recommend.

Answer: It's risky. They have a NO RETURN for any reason policy. Doesn't fit - too bad. Doesn't look like picture - too bad. Don't think that Paypal will help you, they will usually rule that what you got is "substantially similar" to what you ordered. I paid for custom and told them that I am a size 4/6 in the front and a 10/12 in the back because I swim and that I have small bubbies and wear an A cup. I sent multiple measurements, taken by a professional. I got back a dress that would fit a 6 foot tall Dolly Parton. Maybe if you are perfectly proportioned, or if you are ordering something that isn't a garment, you will have better luck. For me, they saw a 38 inch bust measurement and assumed that I am a DD cup. They didn't listen to anything that I told them. I know that there are computer programs that you input a bust, waist and hip measurement and it spits out a pattern. Maybe that is what happened with me. My A cup bubby in that DD cup dress was certainly humorous. On the plus side, it did look good from the back. You should also know that it costs about 5.00 to ship something from China to the US, but that it costs about 45.00 to ship the same thing from the US to China. I had no complaints about the fabrics used, or the amount of time it took to arrive or the packaging. My complaint is that they totally ignored my description of my body. I recommend that you just pay a little bit more and drive to a store and try on dresses if you aren't a perfectly sized body. The "Norton Secured Seal" that JJ's employee is talking about has nothing to do with the merchandise, it just means that the website is safe from malware.

Answer: I cannot speak for the location as I live in the UK but I was very impressed with my wedding dress - I did pay the extra 20 pounds or so for them to use my exact measurements, however. The dress was stunning.

Your customer service dept Sucks and your scamming people out of there hard earned $$$, I think the newsroom should get involved here we are having the same problem with size, order off your size chart, gown gets delivered and like to size s to small could ny even get the zipper up!

Answer: Dont touch this company I got a dress from them in total cost £160 there was a fault with the jacket and they would take it back, there is no hassle free returns. Then when I posted a bad review they said they would give me a refund and sent me a returns form with an address to where to send the dress. I sent this recorded delivery as JJS house requested and when Royal Mail went to deliver it they refused to take it. Avoid like the plague
Answer: I would suggest you find your garment locate. My reason for suggesting to shop locatebis that you can return or exchange without dealing with a return policy that would cost you money. Before you decide to purchase from this company, look up their reviews and complaints on JJ'S HOUSE. It's better to have a good buying experience as oppose to dealing with a hassle when your event is suppose to be a good experience. Good luck.
