I found this site without time to order a custom dress. I managed to find a dress and placed an order. They responded already out of stock, please provide alternative or cancel your order. I found others that would work and was supposed to get a response in 24 hours. 2 or 3 days later, sorry out of stock, can we cancel your order. I tried several more times and the same customer service agent says again, can we cancel your order? They had no intention of helping me. I asked several times that someone call. They are liars and cheats! Now, I'm two weeks from my daughters wedding and I don't have anything. Don't use this company. It's a scam!
I placed an order for 5 different dresses for my bridesmaids to try on.
A customer service rep contacted me within a few hours via the website to say I wouldn't be able to return the items unless they were defected.
She asked if I wanted to continue with the order and offered to help cancel some of the items.
I said that I would just order one dress but after not receiving any more communication, I started to get worried and tried to cancel the order and that was within 12 hours of placing it. But nothing seemed to happen so I tried two more times.
I then logged into my bank account and saw they had taken £500 AFTER I raised multiple tickets to cancel the order.
I tried to contact them again on Facebook messenger and through their website but still had no response.
I have contacted them three times on instant chat where they have promised me a refund and I still haven't had my £500 back.
Clearly a very dodgy company!
I wish I had done some research before ordering from them because their Facebook page and Trustpilot is full of negative reviews reporting similar experiences!

UPDATE: I read that if you leave a review on SiteJabber that they will respond. This is what I did and they did cancel my order FINALLY. They promised a refund within 24 hours which didn't happen. Instead they contacted me and said they will not refund me until I remove my review.
Ordered 2/2 with custom measurements and expected ship date of 3/6. Order status never left payment processed, and emails for expected ship date unanswered. May be due to Covid19, but have no way of knowing with no response to email, so must make alternate plans. Maybe dress is great, maybe not, but 2weeks before prom I have to find a dress and have it altered because there is no way this will arrive in time.
Similar to some other reviews, I have placed an order and sent a request to cancel it once they told me that shipment time is not guaranteed due to the coronavirus. They have confirmed receiving the cancellation order (I kept screenshots of everything), but refused to refund the funds (they kept sending an automated message asking i reconsider and offering me 10% discounts). I ended up asking my bank to reverse the charge. Over a week after they confirmed getting my request to cancel, they had sent a note that the order was shipped. I will be returning the shipment with tracked mailing and providing as proof to my bank
AS you can see from emails they were notified several times about the cancellation before they shipped while payment was still pending but they shipped anyway.
I canceled through there web page within minutes.

I ordered before reading the hundreds of awful reviews, and hearing the personal experience of a friend, realised my mistake and tried to cancel within a couple of hours after placing the order, as the company refund policy is "cancellation within 24hours 100% refund, then reduces until 120hours no refund apart from shipping fee." However when you go through the cancel order procedure NOTHING HAPPENS! All it does is raise a "ticket" which states it's being processed. I have raised 7 "tickets" over the last 11 days and have heard NOTHING apart from a generic email that is sent to everyone who complains. I have emailed, sent messages via their Facebook page and will get the occasional reply stating they are looking into it but still nothing. I have kept all correspondence so will be taking this up as a dispute under section 75 with my credit card company. I have no idea if the dresses are any good but given the level of customer service I don't hold out much hope.
Update: I've since received this. It's amazing they can track their negative reviews and try to damage limitation. Maybe sort the customer service out in the first place then this wouldn't be necessary!

Ordered a dress in January and did not receive any further assitance, still no dress and it was supposed to ship last week. I was constantly sent the same email over and over with NO help. Fed up and cancelled my order.
What a joke.
My daughter ordered her dress on January 18. It was supposed to be shipped on February 13, then the 24... Neither date was a reality. I contacted the company on February 26, March 3 and March 9, each time telling them I wanted to cancel my order for a full refund. FINALLY on March 10 they communicate with me to tell me the dress has SHIPPED. Are you kidding me?!?!? What a racket. Save your money. Buy local. Shop where you can trust you will get what you ordered, when you ordered it.
Now that I finally got a response after 5 times on the jjhouse website...(still no response on there), but they did respond on sitejabber. I paid for expedited shipping on however my shipment date was 3-8_20. Now my shipment date is... undetermined I guess. I can't believe this... my order wasn't even considered CUSTOM. Yes... I WANT A FULL REFUND and the expedited shipping cost FOR BOTH ORDERS that still haven'tbeen shipped. They will not be here in time for my event... nothing about the order has been expedited... not even the responses to issues.
I ordered non-custom dresses BECAUSE I knew I may need to return them. They are telling me that ALL dresses are custom... hint... they don't want to give refunds to anyone. I also paid for expedited shipping... no one responds to any message about when they will be shipped. Four dresses... and no one has any answers.
I ordered a mother of the bride dress... it hasn't shipped either. I asked to cancel it due to the fact that it more than likely will not be here by my wedding... They will cancel but can only give me credit or 8% refund on a $200 dress that HAS NOT SHIPPED AT ALL YET and wasn't a custom order either. Its funny how I can get a response when I talk about canceling but NO RESPONSE when I ask when my order will be sent. Simple customer service... that's all. Stay away... I wish I had never ordered from here.
I ordered a dress back in January. The estimated shipping date was February 19th. I hadn't heard anything, so I gave it another week and tried contacting customer service. I have a ticket that's almost two weeks old that is still "processing". Communication with this company is a joke. The only way I've gotten any answers is through the live chat. Those customer service reps have been lovely. However, I was told my dress wouldn't be shipped until March 20th. I cancelled the order due to the lack of communication about the delay in shipping. I didn't want to wait another month. One week went by and the order shipped. I contacted customer service again, who sent me over to the post sales team. They told me they can't do anything, all I can do is return it once it arrives if that's what I would like to do. Of course I want to return it, I cancelled the order. But they won't send me the return form. I have a ticket about the return that they closed with no communication and no resolution. Horrible company. Now I'm possibly going to be stuck with an order I cancelled. I will never buy from this company again and I'll be sure to tell anyone who asks about it not to either.
UPDATE: After posting this review, I began receiving timely communication from the company. I was able to return the dress and received a full refund, which I appreciated. However, they will not stop emailing me asking me to remove this review ever since. While everything ended up being resolved, the process was still extremely frustrating and stressful. I feel as though people deserve to know this, bad reviews should not be silenced.
I bought 3 dresses for 4 events I have coming up this year I place my order in early February. After they confirmed receipt of funds, I tracked my order and noticed that my dresses would miss the first event scheduled for 3/14. I contacted them thru online chat to put a rush on my order. Was told that it would be no problem and that I would be contacted back with in 48hrs. Response never came. Horrible experience, will never purchase from JJ house ever again!
The dress I orderes was too big, a super heavy material and way darker than the image shown on the website. Upon trying to return for a refund I found out they had terrible customer service. Their return policy states that it has to have arrived back in their facility within 7 days or you don't get your refund and you don't have the dress anymore. However to post the package back from where I live would cost more than the dress (dress was $79 inlcuding shipping) itself so I would still lose money. Anyone I talked to gave me literally copy paste useless answers and theres no way of contacting their phone number as it's apparently inundated with calls all the time and you have to leave a message for them to email you back.
Overall a very poor experience, wouldn't reccommend.
I just placed an order today, and then I came on here to read some of these reviews. People are saying the virus is making their orders not come. I need this for my daughter for prom by mid April, so if that is the case I would want to cancel my order all together. If someone could please let me know details about that I would appreciate it.
This company is a SCAM. Stay away! Do not buy from this online SCAM SHOP. I reported to anti fraud already! They pretend that from the Corona virus they cant deliver or do the refund, but they are still selling dresses on their website scamming other people and taking their money.
Rubbish customer service, never received an email back, and they promised my refund 3 weeks ago because they cant deliver the dress and it not happened after lots of useless conversations with sales advisors.

Please don't buy from here. I ordered a dress and realized the date it was to be mailed was too late. I sent 10 messages to this company asking for a response and my order to be cancelled. They never responded. I then got a message that the order had shipped. I contacted customer service and they are charging me to return. Beware!
I ordered a dress last week (Tuesday 3/3) as soon as I purchased it I realized it wouldn't be delivered in time for my best friends wedding which is at the end of this month. It wasn't due to arrive until mid April. I reached out to their 24/7 instant chat that they have online and spoke with Juereen, who was very professional and helpful. I asked her since the dress I ordered wasn't going to be here in time, if I could get a refund. She said she would put a ticket in to have this taken care of and I should receive a call back from someone by the end of the week. As I'm waiting for the call a few days later, a package was delivered to me last night (3/6) and it was my dress. I am so over the moon excited that it for one, got here in time. For two, it's beautiful. And three, it fits me like a glove. I've never had something fit me so perfectly before. This has been an amazing experience.

I order a dress for my son's wedding, which is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Not only did my dress not get made on time, but they did not bother to contact me that it was delayed. I only found out because it didn't show up by the promised time. I have been fighting with them and they are refusing to give me a refund. This is fraudulent company, do not order through them.

Dress order due to slow turnaround time. (Approximately 10 weeks). Three weeks after doing so, with 3 emails asking me to change my mind and offering me a discount, I still do not have a credit on my account. Do not recommend.
I purchased over $1650 worth of product - shoes for my music students to wear with their formal uniforms. I even paid for expedited shipping. Customs charged me almost $800 and only delivered part. Come to find out that jjshouse did fill out the paperwork properly. So DHL wouldn't release to me and couldn't ship back. I notified jjshouse of this but they chose not to fix it. Now 4 months later, they refuse to take responsibility and refund the $1400 they owe. Instead they waited for DHL to destroy the pkgs as undeliverable and offered to only pay 40% of missing products. Unacceptable! A company should stand behind their mistakes... and this was a huge one that cost high school students money since it was their money for their shoes! Any company that steals from kids is not a company to do business with!
DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I would give this company a ZERO if I could. Didn't receive my order and 3 months later informed the company to cancel many times. Was Informed many that the trouble ticket has been escalated but no one has contacted me. Still no tracking, still no resolution. My wedding event has passed and there is no need for these items anymore. I submitted a claim to PayPal and the same day they sent a half of the products with tracking number and claimed that I've received the merchandise. So where is my wedding dress? PayPal closed my cased and I had to reopen it because I didn't get the dress. That dress cost $173 plus expedited shipping was $60 so I lost a lot of money with this company. Save yourself the time. I've seen reviews on YouTube but those are free dresses that the you tubers receive from the company. This was a horrible experience and I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

Answer: It's risky. They have a NO RETURN for any reason policy. Doesn't fit - too bad. Doesn't look like picture - too bad. Don't think that Paypal will help you, they will usually rule that what you got is "substantially similar" to what you ordered. I paid for custom and told them that I am a size 4/6 in the front and a 10/12 in the back because I swim and that I have small bubbies and wear an A cup. I sent multiple measurements, taken by a professional. I got back a dress that would fit a 6 foot tall Dolly Parton. Maybe if you are perfectly proportioned, or if you are ordering something that isn't a garment, you will have better luck. For me, they saw a 38 inch bust measurement and assumed that I am a DD cup. They didn't listen to anything that I told them. I know that there are computer programs that you input a bust, waist and hip measurement and it spits out a pattern. Maybe that is what happened with me. My A cup bubby in that DD cup dress was certainly humorous. On the plus side, it did look good from the back. You should also know that it costs about 5.00 to ship something from China to the US, but that it costs about 45.00 to ship the same thing from the US to China. I had no complaints about the fabrics used, or the amount of time it took to arrive or the packaging. My complaint is that they totally ignored my description of my body. I recommend that you just pay a little bit more and drive to a store and try on dresses if you aren't a perfectly sized body. The "Norton Secured Seal" that JJ's employee is talking about has nothing to do with the merchandise, it just means that the website is safe from malware.

Answer: I cannot speak for the location as I live in the UK but I was very impressed with my wedding dress - I did pay the extra 20 pounds or so for them to use my exact measurements, however. The dress was stunning.

Answer: Dont touch this company I got a dress from them in total cost £160 there was a fault with the jacket and they would take it back, there is no hassle free returns. Then when I posted a bad review they said they would give me a refund and sent me a returns form with an address to where to send the dress. I sent this recorded delivery as JJS house requested and when Royal Mail went to deliver it they refused to take it. Avoid like the plague
Answer: I would suggest you find your garment locate. My reason for suggesting to shop locatebis that you can return or exchange without dealing with a return policy that would cost you money. Before you decide to purchase from this company, look up their reviews and complaints on JJ'S HOUSE. It's better to have a good buying experience as oppose to dealing with a hassle when your event is suppose to be a good experience. Good luck.
