My experience was wonderful. It was easy placing my order and I was sent updates through the whole process on when my order would be shipped... It was truly refreshing to shop with a company that cares.
Ordered two of the same dresses for a wedding. Two different sizes. They were the exact same. Took pics and requested assistance since the wedding was in two weeks and I had no time to reorder or send back. They refused. I had to have one of the dresses altered which cost me another $75. They asked me to send pics so I did and the dresses matched up perfectly. Again requested full refund and cost of alterations. I was denied. They wanted me to send the dress back AFTER it had been worn and altered. They finally agreed to return 50% of the cost. Won't order from them ever again.

Turns out when they tell you you're getting a refund for the full item value, they are misleading the customer again. They make you pay for the label but only tell you that after you accept the offer and after you ask why the refund isn't for the full amount. They apologize for the confusion. But, wow, are they misleading. I don't understand how this company is in business, honestly

JJs has seemingly ignored my latest response. They are supposed to respond in 24 hours. It has been over 96 hours. I guess they think I will go away. Even if I were to agree to whatever ridiculous solution they come up with they won't give me the opportunity because they won't respond. Atrocious customer service. No one should ever buy from them.
*Update with response: I am not taking out two dresses made of halloween costume material.* My sister and I just purchased two dresses from their sample sale, which of course had a no return policy (understandable) with a clause stating that the dresses might have small imperfections (also understandable). For the purposes we had to wear them, none of that was an issue. Based on their size chart, we purchased them a size bigger than what we'd normally wear. My bra size is a 30 band, so buying their 4 with a 33.5 inch bust would be plenty big. My sister's bra is a size 32 band, so buying their 6 with a 34.5 inch bust would be plenty big. We got the dresses quickly. They looked fine. No imperfections to be found. Except they did not close AT ALL. To me, that is more than a small imperfection. They don't even close a little bit. These dresses are far smaller than they claim. Highly unwearable. We are currently in the process of requesting an exception/refund due to their misleading size chart and have sent them photos of us in our own smaller clothes. They have been vague thus far and we do not know what avenue they will take, saying they'd love to help but restating the policies. Not sure what that means. Overall, do not recommend, and if you do decide to purchase from them, order at least 2 sizes bigger than advertised.

The sizes though are a little too big. Even the smallest size is a little big on me.

I ordered a couple dresses for my daughter's wedding and they immediately emailed me to tell me that I couldn't do that... Multiple returns. Forget I've already paid an outrageous price to ship! Major scam company. Don't do it no matter how good it looks. Will get you in the end! Even Paypal didn't support me! RUN

I needed a dress for a wedding party pronto so I tried to get one of the dresses that ships in 24 hours, then I find that even though the dress I chose says it ships in 24 hours and takes 2-5 days to arrive, they told me I didn't pick the correct dress that ships in 24 hours. That was no big deal, if the website made a mistake they should fix it to not include those details so no one else makes that mistake and also help me get the correct dress since the website falsely advertised something. However they did nothing to help fix the problem that started from their website's misleading details. All I wanted was for them to help me pay the extra 2 dollars for expedited shipping to make up for the dress dispatching later than it said it would, then I would still have time for the dress to arrive on time for the wedding party. They couldn't even do that, the dress dispatched and it was too late for them to do anything despite me messaging them back and forth for days. If this was fixed on day one I would not have this problem, the estimated arrival for the dress is set one day AFTER the wedding. The only way I will delete this review is if somehow miraculously the dress arrives in time for me to actually use it for the event it was intended for.

I have had the most difficult time with this company. On the front end - delivery took forever. They use DHL which would was very diffu\icult to get delivery. Finally received - did not like the fit of the dress so went to return. The label they forwarded was not printable on either mine or my husbands computers - gave us error messages, etc. Had to continue to go to their messaging site and still have not been successful in getting a label and form to return. Don't was your time unless you know for certain you are going to keep the item. Feels like a scam in that they only give you 14 days to return and they make it very difficult to do so!

I ordered a custom-made dress and submitted the correct measurements to get this made for me to wear to my daughter's wedding after reading all the *fabulous* reviews--Read On. I also ordered some matching accessories that went with the dress. Shortly after, when I inquired on the progress, I was told that one of the accessories was out of stock so they asked if I would like to pick something else out. I did. When the dress arrived, it was completely incorrect in how it was made. My waist measurement was up below my breasts and the nipple portion was about two inches up above my breast towards my chin. Where my real waist is, the measurement was almost what I put for my hips (waist 28, hips 36- what I submitted, I checked again to make sure it was not my error). I sent them pictures with rulers to show how this was not what I ordered. For the record, I am 5'2", 112 lb. I have a normal proportional body. My boobs are not at my neck. I have no idea who this dress would fit. The arm holes were so small my shoulders and underarms would have been bleeding had I worn it for over an hour. After several requests and a lot of time, they finally agreed as one of the options for me to return the dress and to get a full refund. I continuously asked about the accessories that I no longer wanted or needed that were to go with this dress and that I ordered because of their error telling me something was out of stock. No reply on that. I returned the dress and all the accessories all in the same box. Weeks ago. They said they received the box yet have still not refunded all my money. I have spent more wasted time on trying to get my money back. I tried to leave a review on their website but evidently they don't POST any negative reviews, so you cannot rely on the reviews on their site. It's all manipulated. They monitor that closely. Beware of this company! (Now watch as they post a wonderful friendly response to what I have written here. From them it's all lies -- as I read through the others, these are the same responses I'm getting from them and they are ALL LIES. I really wish I came to this site first to read reviews before giving them my money.) I will not stop until I get my money back.

Hi, I didn't read any reviews before I ordered a dress. Good thing! It would have just made me worry, and I don't need that on top of planning a wedding in 45 days! I ordered on Sept. 2,2020, and the dress came yesterday Sept. 17,2020. Jjshouse makes their dresses from scratch, so the dress we received fits perfectly. Pretty awesome considering nothing fit at any of the bridal shops around here (Utah). Keeping in mind the dresses were made in China and shipped here. If you don't have 20 days to wait for a dress buy one off the rack and have it tailored. As for JJshouse dresses, totally worth the wait! I ended up with a beautiful, "made to order" dress at a reasonable price.

I ordered 5 dresses from JJs House, for my wedding, which included dresses for friends and the order was worth £674. I checked the tailoring time and shipping time and it was clear that according to the times mentioned on the website, my dresses would arrive on time. But then i started following up on my order and spoke to assistants through their live chat. The first chat assistant said the finish date of the dresses would be 11th September and i would receive my dresses by 19th September. Few days later, I started a live chat again and they told me my order will be delivered on 25th September and my Wedding is on 25th September.
I finally asked them to can cancel and refund me the money. They start reciting me their policy on refunds. They literally have no sense on the importance of weddings and being a bride it just stresses you out and now they said they would refund me £307 and guess what? I receive an email today that they are refunding me £243. They don't care about weddings and they are scammers

Update - I filed a complaint with PayPal. A short time later I received notification that I would be receiving a full refund from both PayPal and JJ's House. I was also asked to update this review by JJ's House. I have received a very timely full refund. This issue has been resolved.
I ordered shoes for my sons wedding. I needed the shoes ASAP and they offered expedited shipping for $18. Once the order was competed in the system, it stated the shoes would not ship for days. I emailed them less than 24 hours later to cancel the order and they refused. Offering a 5% refund for a cancelled order or 10% off another order (seriously?) is a joke. Horrible company! Never order from them.

I have bought my second Mother of the Bride outfits from Jjshouse. Their products are excellent. My recent purchase was a special offer, meaning it's non refundable and might have a slight imperfection. The outfit at €65 was excellent and I could have not have purchased such splendor in my local Boutique. Their Customer Service is equally splendid.

I chose a dress, when it came in I tried it on a couple of times then I sent it back within a week. I keep in contact with JJSHOUSE but 7 months later, I still have no credit. I sent it to the exact address they gave me and they tell me it hasn't got to them yet.

I purchased a mother of the bride dress from them, it was huge! Their hassle free returns is a joke. I sent three emails requesting a return label so I can return the dress in the time frame allowed. They never answered any of my emails. Finally I was able to get a lady on chat to help me. I returned the dress and I still have not received my refund. I will never buy anything else from JJ House! Weddings are stressful enough without a dress company adding much stress!

Update as of Sept. 08,2020! My orders came one day before the wedding.It took 5 weeks even though it is expedited shipping (2-4 days based on their site). My youngest daughter was able to use the dress (custom made) but the dress for my oldest daughter was small in size (standard size) so we have to buy another dress for her. The dresses were nice but the size is small if you base it on their standard size. I message the firm through their website and they are willing to give me a full refund of my shipping fee. I appreciate how polite the customer service on the site. Unlike the one in their facebook account. Lesson learned: If you are going to order in JJ's house, it is best to customize the size to get the best fit and order AWAY AHEAD OF TIME (months) to avoid so much stress.
Old post: I ordered gowns for my daughters last july 27 for them to wear on my wedding day. I paid extra for expedited shipment so as to received it after a week as their page says so. Its been on transit since aug 11 but no more updates after that. Its been 5 weeks but still no package from them. I've been sending messages to them but i got the same reply that it is on transit and that its because of the pandemic that it got delayed. That is not true because my 2nd order was sent from them through DHL and i received it aug 26. I still keep on asking where my first order is but they asked me to be patient. Now my daughters dont have anything to wear for my wedding! I wanted them to return my money and just send the orders back to them but they will not help me. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE in facebook, no one answers the landline and sizes of the clothes are very small.

You have to go back and forth with them so they can tell you that you ordered the wrong item. Even when it say no hassle returns they want to keep 1/2 the money. Three days of back and forth I still have no return label or address. They send links that don't apply. I will never order from them again.

I order from jjs house casual clothes and they said it was already shipped but i never received my product and i dont know whom to call since its not us base company their msg are quick but they only say it was shipped on this date nothing more and they have to talk to courier company. Its a fraud.

I ordered the dress before I did my due diligence online. After perusing online reviews and the BBB site, I have to admit I was shopping for a back up dress in case this one didn't show up or was poor quality.
The good news is that I received the dress in the amount of time they promised it to me. The dress and color are beautiful and very well made with quality materials. I had the dress made to my measurements and it fits fairly well. I am having some minor alterations done to it. All in all I would say that I am very happy with the dress.
The only suggestion I would make is to add a shoulder measurement for customization. I have broad shoulders and the dress is a bit tight there especially since the sheer material used doesn't have any stretch.

Answer: It's risky. They have a NO RETURN for any reason policy. Doesn't fit - too bad. Doesn't look like picture - too bad. Don't think that Paypal will help you, they will usually rule that what you got is "substantially similar" to what you ordered. I paid for custom and told them that I am a size 4/6 in the front and a 10/12 in the back because I swim and that I have small bubbies and wear an A cup. I sent multiple measurements, taken by a professional. I got back a dress that would fit a 6 foot tall Dolly Parton. Maybe if you are perfectly proportioned, or if you are ordering something that isn't a garment, you will have better luck. For me, they saw a 38 inch bust measurement and assumed that I am a DD cup. They didn't listen to anything that I told them. I know that there are computer programs that you input a bust, waist and hip measurement and it spits out a pattern. Maybe that is what happened with me. My A cup bubby in that DD cup dress was certainly humorous. On the plus side, it did look good from the back. You should also know that it costs about 5.00 to ship something from China to the US, but that it costs about 45.00 to ship the same thing from the US to China. I had no complaints about the fabrics used, or the amount of time it took to arrive or the packaging. My complaint is that they totally ignored my description of my body. I recommend that you just pay a little bit more and drive to a store and try on dresses if you aren't a perfectly sized body. The "Norton Secured Seal" that JJ's employee is talking about has nothing to do with the merchandise, it just means that the website is safe from malware.

Answer: I cannot speak for the location as I live in the UK but I was very impressed with my wedding dress - I did pay the extra 20 pounds or so for them to use my exact measurements, however. The dress was stunning.

Answer: Dont touch this company I got a dress from them in total cost £160 there was a fault with the jacket and they would take it back, there is no hassle free returns. Then when I posted a bad review they said they would give me a refund and sent me a returns form with an address to where to send the dress. I sent this recorded delivery as JJS house requested and when Royal Mail went to deliver it they refused to take it. Avoid like the plague
Answer: I would suggest you find your garment locate. My reason for suggesting to shop locatebis that you can return or exchange without dealing with a return policy that would cost you money. Before you decide to purchase from this company, look up their reviews and complaints on JJ'S HOUSE. It's better to have a good buying experience as oppose to dealing with a hassle when your event is suppose to be a good experience. Good luck.
