DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE. STAY AWAY FROM JJ'S HOUSE.

I placed my order on the 25th March 2022 with a promise to have it delivered from the 6th-11th of April. It is now the 2nd of May and it STILL has not arrived, with my friend's wedding a week away. Save yourself the stress and don't order from this site unless you want to gamble with delivery times. Take note my order was not even customised to my measurements, I bought a standard size 12.

They claim my order was delayed due to COVID and logistics, however 2 other friends ordered their dresses to my address and even though they ordered later than I did, their dresses arrived and mine has not. The inconsistency is ridiculous.

Their support also claimed that I would be refunded 5% of the price I paid because of late delivery, yet this hasn't hit my account. They also didn't inform me if the delivery was going to be late again even though this is stated in their email to me.

There are other better websites for bridesmaids / brides to browse from without worrying that their dresses are going to take longer to arrive just because their wholesalers are in Asia.

Absolutely unacceptable.

Scam artists!

Beware! Stay away from this company! I bought 2 dresses that were so cheaply made. Im trying to return them. There is no way to contact them! They are in Hong Kong! No phone number. Live chat doesn't work. I've been asking for a return label. They don't send one! I'm out 260.00! Please listen to me. Stay away!

Sack dress

I sent specific measurements to have the dress made for me. The darts are too high. The waist is 4 inches to big and the hips are 13 inches too large. I am going to have to pay for alterations so it fits me. I am NOT SATISFIED. Can you see in the pictures, it isn't even close to the same dress.

Return policy is a lie

I tried returning a dress that had damaged fabric when it arrived. After jumping through all the hoops of their return maze (submitting forms, sending photos, emails, etc.) the return was never accepted within the return window. Ridiculous and false promises with the return policy. They should just be honest and say no returns accepted!

Poor customer service

Ordered a dress for mother of the bride, pictures looked amazing. Paid extra fees for the additional shipping cost.
The dress arrived in a small bag, pulled so tightly that it was unbelievable. Who would ship an expensive gown in that tiny box, air must have been vacuumed out to shrink it down.
What a disappointment! So wrinkled and creases all over the gown!

I ordered cufflinks for a wedding and was told they would arrive 3 days prior to when I needed them. I also paid for expedited shipping. When I followed up, they said my order was about to ship. The day before my rehearsal dinner, they were still not here… SO, I asked and they said I needed to be understanding about the order and that it would be another 9 days. They lied. They took my money, promised something they couldn't deliver, and then said I wasn't understanding. Do not waste your money. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and also asking for mitigated damages for the short term ordered cufflinks that I will have to get. Terri or company. Terrible experience. Go somewhere else.

They make the returns very difficult. Ask a lot of question, need to place a picture of the dress showing my back because did not fit. I will never buy here again.

Do not order

I ordered my daughter's prom dress from here. It's made to order and I measured as requested. It's supposed to be a ball gown yet it's short and dark pink instead of blush. I requested to cancel the order since I just received the picture to verify and am not happy with it. They are only wanting to doa partial refund when it hasn't even shipped yet stating that I had 120 hours after ordering to cancel. Well if the dress is made to order and I just received pictures of the unacceptable product how could I cancel within in that time? I feel that I'm being scammed. I will never order from here again!

I would never order from this company again. Shipping is extremely high and must pay return shipping if the item does not fit properly. I received a defective dress that was shredding in the back. I had to pay to ship it back to them and then pay to get a new dress to replace their terrible workmanship. They were not accommodating and did not offer free shipping to replace the defective merchandise. If they bride did not select this dress I would have gone elsewhere. I would give them no stars if possible. Shop elsewhere!

One of the dresses I ordered sold out so they offered me a cupon and free shipping. But I could not use it because their website told me the dress was on sale (which it wasnt). Now they are refusing me a full refund for the other dress I ordered for my brides maids.

They ruined my weddingplans, and they simply can not read english and understand how this is their fault for giving me a cupon which was not valid as they said it would (I have numerous screenshot of their website not allowing me to use the cupon)
They blame the IT-department but do not reimburst me fully as they should - since they failed to comply with the first offer they gave me.

They are a ripping off people their money and should be considered a scam.

I DO NOT recommend them at all - for anyone.

Terrible customer service. I would avoid this company. I accidentally ordered some bridesmaid robes in the wrong size and they gave me any and every excuse under the sun as to why I couldn't return them, for example they are personalised (which they weren't) and classed as a liagerie item. They are absolutely ridiculous. I hadn't even taken them out of the packaging.

I wish I had seen this overview before ordering two bridesmaid dresses from them. I paid extra for expedited shipping and the dresses arrived during what would have been the non-expedited timeframe. When I asked them to refund the expedited shipping fee, they declined and offered me $5 off my next purchase. Are you serious?! I declined and asked them again to refund the expedited shipping fee. They declined again. I asked for free returned shipping. They declined, giving some ridiculous excuse about it being a third party shipper and it's not possible for comped shipping. Really? All their responses are mechanical automated nonsense that don't answer questions or address the actual problem. To be honest, this is why I NEVER deal with Chinese-owned companies and never buy anything made in China -- they have a corrupt government and it's reflected in Chinese business practices. I wish I had known it was a Chinese-owned business.

The dresses: Well, one was pretty and looked pretty close to the color on their website. The other? It was so ugly and unlike the picture I didn't even bother to open it. So I returned it and they refunded part of the dress price, despite being eligible for a full refund. I'm still battling about that. The dress I kept? Where do I begin?! Overall, it's fine, I guess. It's too big. The measurements from the website are approximate, not necessarily exact. And it's going to cost me $200 in alterations to get it to fit properly! Since the wedding is just around the corner and the dress was late in arriving anyway, I have to pay rush fees to alter it in addition to all the changes it needs. The zipper is garbage. The first time I used it, it kept jamming and keeps jamming. The dress is pretty, but I'd never buy it in a store. I wish I had gone to David's Bridal like I had planned, but I listened to another bridesmaid who thought her dress was fine.

All I can say is don't waste your time or money with this company. Give your business to an American-owned business that at least has some semblance of customer service and honors its word. What more can you expect from a country that is probably the greatest human rights violator in the world? My dress was probably made by slave labor anyway, which is why I don't buy anything made there. Don't believe me? Do some research. The BBC covers China plenty.

I originally reviewed this company with 1 star bc of their return policy. I had ordered a dress and cancelled my order just a couple hours later and they were only offering me a 5% refund. The order had not even been processed or shipped yet…
After emailing the company back again, they ended up honoring a full refund.
In todays times with online shopping, consumers change their minds, needs or wants can quickly change. I recommend this company changes their return policy for cancellations so that they can ensure more confidence with their buyers.

Wish they had zero stars! I regret not looking at the reviews before I made my order. Their website and return policy is horrific! I believe they make it that way on purpose. I followed all of their return instructions to a T. They did not refund me the complete amount even though I returned it to them unworn and in the exact condition that I received it within the allotted 14 days that they give for a return. I would avoid this company at all cost. I do not recommend this company at all!
