I bought my prom dress from this website. The dress looked exactly like in the picture. The only thing that I didn't like about using this website was that they never told me about the added on fees that they put onto your order when you buy it. When I received my dress I had to pay an additional $75 dollars for "border fees" which I wasn't aware of.
STAY AWAY! I am a 34B and ordered a custom made dress because my waist is really small. The dress would fit a 44G! I even sent them pictures of my little bitty boobs in this gargantuous dress and they claimed it was exactly to my measurements! It can't even be fixed because the boobs go all the way from my shoulder to my waist. Additionally, the dress doesn't even look like the picture! The dress in the picture is a sleek A-line. What I got has yards and yards of fabric gathered around the thighs (yes the thighs, because that's how badly it fits) and looks like it needs a hoop skirt under it! I ordered A-Line/Princess One-Shoulder Asymmetrical Chiffon Prom Dress With Ruffle Beading. Stay away from jjshouse. You are just flushing your money down the commode. If anyone wants to compare the picture on their website to what I received, just email me at amartlay_2 at Hotmail dot com and I will send you pictures of what I got and you can compare it to their picture! It's nowhere near the same dress.
Well, after this review, the company got in touch with me and allowed me to return the dress, so I upped their rating. Would I buy from them again - no - because I don't have a standard body; that's why I ordered a custom made dress in the first place. Maybe if I wore off-the-rack, I would consider them. I've learned my lesson - I have to try things on to try to get a good fit and have my mom alter them.

I don't even know where to start. This has been the worst online purchase experience I have ever had. I wish I had found this site and comments before purchasing dresses from JJsHouse because I would have NEVER done it. I too like many others on this site have followed all the required return policy stipulations to return two defective dresses. Each communication comes back to me with different excuses such as "two dressmakers spent days and nights preparing the dress for you". The two dresses I received are defective. They have been made incorrectly (probably due to staff working too many hours in a row and not producing the quality expected). Then they want to give me a 20% refund and have me "resell it online". I would NEVER resell a defective dress. The only outcome is a full refund for these unworn, defective dresses and I will pay a lawyer to get my money back before letting JJsHouse hold my funds hostage and force me to keep poorly constructed merchandise. They obviously do not consider or care about the stress they cause people with their poor customer service. The site does not say NO Returns or Final Sale. I don't think that one star can express the horrifying experience I am in right now. I would give ZERO stars if I could.
After posting my initial comments on Site Jabber, I was contacted by a JJsHouse representative who was very helpful and assisted me with returning the dresses and receiving the full refund I had requested. Thank you Adam!
I had a legitimate reason for my return due to the dress construction being flawed. With that said, I do not feel that an online company can expect clients to keep merchandise they do not like since they can not try it on until they receive it.
I think JJsHouse should put FINAL SALE and NO RETURNS on their website, instead of trying to force customers to keep merchandise they do not want.
I felt helpless and angry in this situation until posting my complaint on Site Jabber and having Adam with JJsHouse assist me in returning the dresses. I wish I did not have to complain before receiving good customer service. I would not recommend JJsHouse after the experience I went through to finally come to a satisfactory resolution.

I almost did not order from JJ House because of a few reviews I read. I have to say I am very happy I did. The dress is very good quality and more beautiful in person than the pictures. I received it in a week, the size was perfect right to their size chart. I will definitely order again from them. Thank you JJ House for making my daughters day special.

This company is a SCAM! I would absolutely NEVER order from them again! I bought this dress in a size 16W and I received it, only to find out the sizing was absolutely off! There was no way I could fit into the dress, let alone wear it to my son's wedding two weeks later. Not only did they incorrectly size the dress, they would not let me return it for any credit at all, even within their 7 day return policy. I have never even worn the dress! I contacted them through multiple venues, only to be told that I will have to keep the dress. I have never dealt with a company that won't let you return an item that you haven't worn within the time period that they set forth. Thanks to this company, I had to scramble last minute to find a dress to my son's wedding, which ended up costing me way more money than I had to spend. Do yourself a favor and skip this site.

My wedding dress arrived yesterday I'm so pleased with it. It looks just like the image and it fits perfect I can't believe the price was so cheap for such a beautiful dress it looks like iv paid thousands for it. The wedding dress was lovely! However, I received a deal for "free expedited shipping." Beware of customs tax. UPS charged me a fee upon delivery.
JJHouse contacted me and refunded the customs amount. I loved my dress, veil & hoop skirt -- be sure to measure yourself thoroughly! The customer service has been wonderful when I was distressed over the customs change!

Do not buy from them! Their return policies are unfair. I have never dealt with a store that would not give you a refund for an item that was not used, altered in any way, tags still on and I even contacted them within their 7 day policy period. I did not have the dress altered at all by them. I wear between a size 10/12 and this 12 was not a true 12. The dresses form was not what it looked liked on the online picture. They can not expect people to go by a picture alone. I try everything on I buy, as you should be able to do. Now they will not take it back. Oh... they offered me 15% of the value. Unreal. It's great some of you are happy because you got dresses that fit or actually look like what's online. Who ever does not get to try something on to see if they are happy with it? They can re-sell it. Any other store I have ever dealt with would take this return with no questions. Do not buy from them unless you are wealthy enough to pay a seamstress to alter everything! This was for my 25th vow renewal, a wedding I never had and this has blew my budget and thoroughly a disappointment.
Would like to update the status of this matter. After reporting on Sitejabber the company JJ'S House offered me a credit to my account of the full purchase price instead of their previous offer of only 15%. So they did finally satisfy me and offered a fair resolution.

I had a very good experience with JJ's House. I ordered a dress with custom measurements for my Mother. She is a short and petite woman. The dress arrived and fit her perfectly. It is well made and looks lovely on her.
The customer service was very good. They answered all of my questions quickly and professionally. My dress arrived exactly at the estimated time. I will be ordering from Jj's again in the future.
This site stresses very clearly the importance of getting the size guide correct. I was very aware of the purchase I was making when submitting my order and take full responsibility of anything that make not have been accurate, including the TAX (not shipping fee) that the purchaser is in charge of, not the seller. If you understand the technicalities of buying from another country then there should not be an issue complaints if you paid the extra fee to have a professional measure you there should not be an issue. If for whatever reason these rules were followed and the purchase did not turn out keep in mind you get the item almost at cost take a photo of the item and send it to them I know they will fix it because they fixed any and every issue they could with me. (I am so sick of the companies having to take the wrath when it is out of there hands most of the time, I work at a company that deals with the state and it something goes wrong it's sometimes the state that is to blame not the company, I suggest not to assume before critiquing a company!)
I have just received my dress from J. J's all the way to Australia. Firstly, the emails they returned after many questions before my actual purchase were answered within 12 hours. I ordered the dress in the size 16 US guided by their website size chart. I thought I would be better to order a bit bigger than too small. I went to the trouble of buying a tape measure and measuring my exact mesaurements which were almost identical to the size 16. The Dress arrived in record time, packaged and boxed perfectly, in a plastic bag, turned inside out for more protection. This dress is stunning. A dress like this in Australia would have cost me $$$$. I would not hesitate to use this Company again. I am actually looking forward to it. Pity I have no pending formal occassions lined up. For those of you who are unsure about sizing, always always better to buy bigger than smaller. Bigger can be altered, smaller means crazy dieting, not recommened. For anyones info, in Australian sizing I am a 12 to 14. So ALWAYS measure yourself before you order. You will not be disappointed in the finished product. I have had the most amazing experience with jjhouse. Top quality products, very well made. I ordered 3 bridesmaids dresses and my wedding shoes through the website, color and cut was spot on. Very reasonable shipping time, all dresses were custom made and only took 2 weeks to come in. I would recommend however to order the dresses to your custom measurements as it is only $20 more and guarantees a good experience :)
Ordered item not a dress, just a wrap on May11, paid for expedited shipping (3 to 6 days), item still not here! Today is June 1st, event I ordered it for has come and gone. I emailed them a while back to inquire about it. They took it upon themselves to in their words send it "sort of express" (7 to 15 days) in my opinion think carefully about ordering from this company! I will never!

But now JJs House will not stop contacting me (two emails and three phone calls) about changing this review. While I am pleased with the refund, in my opinion, this company is still not worth the trouble.]
I was initially super excited to order two bridesmaids dresses that were the color and style I was looking for. However, I encountered multiple things that made me completely dissatisfied with this joke of a company.
1. Payment upon ordering would not work and I had to try multiple cards (I should have taken this as a sign).
2. Once I got the shipment notification, it said they were being shipping from Hong Kong. NO WHERE on the website does it say where it actually ships from.
3. Upon delivery I was told by UPS that I needed to pay an additional $45. I had already paid $30 for shipping when I placed the order.
4. I tried on both dresses. Thank god I ordered TWO sizes larger than I normally wear. However, the dresses were hideous. One looks like I'm wearing a bullet proof vest under my dress - the "lining" and "built in bra" are so thick it's like a quilt. The neckline of the dress stands away from the body and looks so terribly awkward. The second dress was also super padded and awkward. NOT happy!
5. It would cost me $80 to return the dresses, only to get a partial refund.
6. I tried calling customer service, and the phone number didn't even work.
This company makes crap dresses and has so many hidden costs and rip offs. Do yourself a favor and order elsewhere!
[Update 2: The second dress I ordered fit terribly, so I decided to take it to a seamstress and she was appalled at how badly it was made. I already got a partial refund since I was charged a ridiculous amount upon delivery, but I am now out about $130 on a dress that cannot possibly be made better. As as result, I don't think I'm going to be in an upcoming wedding. I was told I can't get a full refund because of their "competitive prices." Such a ripoff. I WANT THE REST OF MY MONEY BACK!

Answer: I wear a size 4. I ordered a size 10! The dress still didn't fit. Believe the bad reviews! Now they are offering a 10% return for a stock dress that they say is custom made. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. You have been warned
Answer: It's risky. They have a NO RETURN for any reason policy. Doesn't fit - too bad. Doesn't look like picture - too bad. Don't think that Paypal will help you, they will usually rule that what you got is "substantially similar" to what you ordered. I paid for custom and told them that I am a size 4/6 in the front and a 10/12 in the back because I swim and that I have small bubbies and wear an A cup. I sent multiple measurements, taken by a professional. I got back a dress that would fit a 6 foot tall Dolly Parton. Maybe if you are perfectly proportioned, or if you are ordering something that isn't a garment, you will have better luck. For me, they saw a 38 inch bust measurement and assumed that I am a DD cup. They didn't listen to anything that I told them. I know that there are computer programs that you input a bust, waist and hip measurement and it spits out a pattern. Maybe that is what happened with me. My A cup bubby in that DD cup dress was certainly humorous. On the plus side, it did look good from the back. You should also know that it costs about 5.00 to ship something from China to the US, but that it costs about 45.00 to ship the same thing from the US to China. I had no complaints about the fabrics used, or the amount of time it took to arrive or the packaging. My complaint is that they totally ignored my description of my body. I recommend that you just pay a little bit more and drive to a store and try on dresses if you aren't a perfectly sized body. The "Norton Secured Seal" that JJ's employee is talking about has nothing to do with the merchandise, it just means that the website is safe from malware.

Then when I posted a bad review they said they would give me a refund and sent me a returns form with an address to where to send the dress. I sent this recorded delivery as JJS house requested and when Royal Mail went to deliver it they refused to take it. Avoid like the plague
Answer: I would suggest you find your garment locate. My reason for suggesting to shop locatebis that you can return or exchange without dealing with a return policy that would cost you money.
