Update on the following jab: JJ's House has agreed to refund my money and are working with me in getting this resolved. I am very thankful for their attention to this matter and their willingness to make it right. The dress I bought is beautiful... just wasn't the right size for me. I do have friends that have ordered and love their dresses. Just make sure you compare their size charts as their sizes run small. Thank you to Selinda that is helping me to get my refund. I am very grateful.
Just received a dress I ordered and immediately contacted them to start a return. The dress is totally out of proportion in size. They have refused giving me a refund. I am sickened by this. I have never heard of a company not allowing refunds for purchases that don't meet the purchaser's expectations. My friend said she got a FULL refund within the 10 day period of receiving it. I would of NEVER ordered had I known I would end up with the problems this is causing me. I will be contacting someone for further advice on how to deal with this. I paid with a credit card, not paypal. I have noticed a lot of advertising on facebook and I will be informing friends to NOT buy from this company if they do not offer me my full refund for a dress that does not fit nor do I want to have altered to fit!
It was a good experience to order custom size for so important occasion, my son's wedding. The service I describe so honestly as excellent. Infact could not be better. They followed the exact measurements I gave them. The dress was delivered via DHL and I could easily follow tracking each day. The only thing I will correct is about the extra charges I incurred upon delivery. I paid 18% Vat duty on the price shown plus handling charges. So I had to pay Euros40. So it is good to advice customer that this will happen and will prepared to pay extra charges, or else do not indicate the exact amount paid for the dress.
But I would defenitly recommend you to anyone with full responsibility.
I had no idea this company was out of Hong Kong. I would have never ordered a dress from this website if I would have known that. My dress didn't look anything like what was pictured and they gave me a hard time when I asked to return the item. They stated that they had "two dress makers... spent days and nights preparing the dress for you, putting to their hard work, we sincerely hope you could kindly keep the dress." What part of this dress doesn't look like I ordered and will not do for my son's wedding did they not understand. STAY AWAY from this site. I have also put a formal complaint into the BBB on this business to make sure that other people don't get scammed like I did.
I am very disappointed with the experience on this website. I ordered 2 dresses for my wedding, (ceremony and reception), paid rush order and custom charges as I needed it by my wedding day. I had to contact them a couple of times as I did not receive any shipment confirmation.The dresses were shipped after I contacted them, 2 days late.
When I did receive the dresses, I was shocked when UPS asked me to pay 74 dollars towards custom charges. I did not know I would have to pay extra charges after paying so much on shipping already. I have ordered several items from China in the past, including dresses. Not once I got charged additional custom charges. I have no idea how these people ship their products. If I knew this, I would have never bothered to order online, buying something locally works out cheaper.
Not only this, the quality of the dress was BAD. There were holes in the net and lace unstitched in several place. There was no way I could wear these dresses for my wedding ceremony and reception, the most important day of my life. I had to go to a local store and pay more than I would have to for last minute purchase.
I am still trying to get refund for the custom and be able to return the dresses and get my money back. I do hope the customer service understands how frustrating and expensive this whole experience has been for me and refund me for the entire order plus the custom charges.

When I was a girl, my mother and I would often sew, and when I was a teenager I had already picked out the "perfect" pattern for a wedding dress, someday. Things don't always turn out as we've planned. Sometimes they turn out better!
When I finally found the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with, I started looking at dresses in excitement. Just as the universe had brought Robert and I together, I think it brought me to JJs Dresses too.
It had been more than 20 years since I had found that "perfect" pattern for a wedding dress, and I still had it, but I truly felt I would regret not buying this one I was so drawn to.
I thought about tradition, and that maybe I should order a traditional color. I pictured the dress in white, and it just didn't have the same pull. My cousin was about to get married in India and she wasn't going to wear white, so I began learning about other culture's traditions. After Robert and I asked the priest who was going to marry us about the color, and he approved, there was no turning back!
I was skeptical about ordering a dress rather than making my own. I'm almost 6 inches taller than the model, but I followed the directions on taking measurements, and when the dress arrived it was perfect! I was so happy that everything fit. I hadn't decided on shoes until I received the dress, but it really was made for two inch heels. I left the dress hanging on on a hanger for an entire 6 weeks, but it was packed well and would have been fine if it was only a couple days. The only thing I really had to do before the wedding, where the dress was concerned, was have someone zip me up!:)
I believe the most important people in a wedding, are the people getting married. On July 26,2014, I married the man I love, in a dress I love, in a color I love.

I ordered a dress on July 17th and had it sent to the east coast of Canada even though I live in Calgary and have a wedding to attend next week. I ordered a custom fit. It took only two weeks to arrive. It fits perfect! Not sure about all of the negative reviews but I had a great experience. I'm a plus size but smaller on top than the bottom. When the dress arrived, I was given a C. O. D. Charge of $54.00! I never saw anything regarding additional shipping charges when the order was placed. The dress was not nearly as full and poofy as the internet picture shows. In order to achieve the look we were hoping for, a petticoat would have to be worn. Again, this was not mentioned on the website. The biggest problem, however, is that the dress will be too short with a petticoat now. The website does not have a Return Label that can be printed, so I've been emailing them requesting one. They reply to my emails, but they have not sent a return label and they haven't offered a refund. I am getting the run-around. One last detail, the dress is very light weight (cheap) compared to some of the dresses we tried on locally. It was packed into a tiny box that was about the size of a shoe box.

The dress is absolutely beautiful and fits great. We did customized measurements and it was great. Only have to take it one clasp on the back to fit more snug. I will order from this company again, and we hope to get the bridesmaid dresses, from there also.

I found this web while shopping online for dresses. I was a little worried buying online. The dress arrived much quicker than expected. The fabric was a bit thick and has no "stretch" to it, so I have to alter it ( so I can sit. Lol) They offered me 15% back for the inconvience. Overall, I would recommend this website. Be sure to order the correct size, as the return policy is not great. For the price of the dress, it was very well made. Hopefully, they will change the web so we can view each dress in our color choice.

I had an excellent experience with JJs House! They had beautiful dresses, ( and many) to choose from. They were excellent and prompt in returning my email questions as well. Shipping was very fast as stated... all around, I would HIGHLY recommend this site!
Answer: I wear a size 4. I ordered a size 10! The dress still didn't fit. Believe the bad reviews! Now they are offering a 10% return for a stock dress that they say is custom made. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. You have been warned
Answer: It's risky. They have a NO RETURN for any reason policy. Doesn't fit - too bad. Doesn't look like picture - too bad. Don't think that Paypal will help you, they will usually rule that what you got is "substantially similar" to what you ordered. I paid for custom and told them that I am a size 4/6 in the front and a 10/12 in the back because I swim and that I have small bubbies and wear an A cup. I sent multiple measurements, taken by a professional. I got back a dress that would fit a 6 foot tall Dolly Parton. Maybe if you are perfectly proportioned, or if you are ordering something that isn't a garment, you will have better luck. For me, they saw a 38 inch bust measurement and assumed that I am a DD cup. They didn't listen to anything that I told them. I know that there are computer programs that you input a bust, waist and hip measurement and it spits out a pattern. Maybe that is what happened with me. My A cup bubby in that DD cup dress was certainly humorous. On the plus side, it did look good from the back. You should also know that it costs about 5.00 to ship something from China to the US, but that it costs about 45.00 to ship the same thing from the US to China. I had no complaints about the fabrics used, or the amount of time it took to arrive or the packaging. My complaint is that they totally ignored my description of my body. I recommend that you just pay a little bit more and drive to a store and try on dresses if you aren't a perfectly sized body. The "Norton Secured Seal" that JJ's employee is talking about has nothing to do with the merchandise, it just means that the website is safe from malware.

Answer: I cannot speak for the location as I live in the UK but I was very impressed with my wedding dress - I did pay the extra 20 pounds or so for them to use my exact measurements, however. The dress was stunning.

Your customer service dept Sucks and your scamming people out of there hard earned $$$, I think the newsroom should get involved here we are having the same problem with size, order off your size chart, gown gets delivered and like to size s to small could ny even get the zipper up!

Answer: Dont touch this company I got a dress from them in total cost £160 there was a fault with the jacket and they would take it back, there is no hassle free returns. Then when I posted a bad review they said they would give me a refund and sent me a returns form with an address to where to send the dress. I sent this recorded delivery as JJS house requested and when Royal Mail went to deliver it they refused to take it. Avoid like the plague
Answer: I would suggest you find your garment locate. My reason for suggesting to shop locatebis that you can return or exchange without dealing with a return policy that would cost you money. Before you decide to purchase from this company, look up their reviews and complaints on JJ'S HOUSE. It's better to have a good buying experience as oppose to dealing with a hassle when your event is suppose to be a good experience. Good luck.
