I'm still trying to decide if the staff at this location, Route 30 in Absecon, NJ are this incompetent, or if it's intentional. You be the judge. Almost a year ago, my wife brought our Hyundai here for a an oil change. A few months later, we notice the bolts that hold two covers to the underside of the body, which have to be removed for the oil change, hadn't been replaced. More than 3/4 of them were missing. Eventually, the cover flapped around under the car, causing damage, which I reported to Jiffy Lube. The manager, Will, reacted in the exact manner I wanted. He offered to replace the damaged part, and ensured me if I brought the car back on days he was in, he would personally do the oil change each time to make sure it was done right.
If you take a moment to examine these pictures, taken from under my Hyundai after an oil change from this Jiffy Lube, ask yourself if this looks correct to you? Zip ties where push rivets should be, missing bolts, why not use some packaging twine?
Whenever you see a video of a car that limps into a real mechanic because of some careless action taken by the technician a quick lube location, think of this location. This is easily the most pathetic attempt I've seen at a person doing their job, let alone the manager. If Hyundai wanted the car zip tied together, they would have installed zip ties in the first place. Who could possibly think this is correct? They simply did the oil change, and my wife left with the illusion it had been done right.
If you're not mechanically inclined, If you're not willing to crawl under your vehicle to inspect the work that is done here, you're taking the chance your car will be the one that gets zip tied, or worse instead of being serviced properly.
This company has the worst service and gives wrong information. In the website, it was told discount with group coupons, however, after changing the oil didn't accept their own coupons and even charged more than indicated in their website. I strongly discourage to going to this place for oil exchange or any services
Raymond, top notch! Kind, big smile and know what he is doing. Even mention where to get a coupon. How awesome it that. Keep workers like Raymond!
I went to the Jiffy Lube in Rio Rancho, nm on state hwy 528 to get my Headlights Restored it was the best
Customer care as far as that service I had ever received. The associates just couldn't help you enough and the waiting time was less then 1hr. And they were very busy and the price was great. I had called several
Other places and time waiting was unreal and price was nuts. I would like to than Patrick, Ricardo in upper bay for the extra car I might mention Patrick also took the time to wash my much need windshield.

Had my service truck serviced at the Poinsett location last month. Driving in stop and go traffic yesterday my low oil notification came on. I took my truck to the Evans St Florence SC location this morning. I asked for a top off and if he would check the filter and drain plug. The oil filter was not tight and during my lengthy drive I had lost 3 quarts of oil.
I am certain that it was an oversight but in an older vehicle that doesn't have low oil sensors it could have been catastrophic. More attention to detail is warranted
I have travelled in Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia. The JL young people have always be willing to check my tire pressure when my check light came on. Always done it for free and cheerfully. I love jiffy lube folks. They are good people. Mary
They charged me 100 bucks for fully synthetic oil. A thousand mile later the oil is little brown and little low. I doubt they put synthetic oil in my car. Leave the worry behind jiffy lube says. I don't think so. I am taking my car to AAA from now on.or gonna change my own oil.
This place is the best. I didnt wait, they are on top of everything. It was the fastest I ve ever had my oil changed.
Highly professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent quick service... very thorough. SERIOUS PROBLEM THOUGH! I lived here over 2 years and have passed Jiffy Lube min of 200 times... never saw it. Bushes on right heading north block bldg and sign and20 ft tall bushes heading south block site 100%.
I am retired regional mgr... 1st thing is let the Sandy Spring customer (higher income) KNOW WHERE THIS NEW BUILDING IS! I googled question oil change and it was 300 yards away. This is the Regional's fault to improve signage and exposure. I will continue to use as long as I live here... too bad noone knows about this location 50,000 population
To whom it may concern:
I am a long time customer of Jiffy Lube and today I received the best service I have ever received since I've been a driver. I awaken early to be at Jiffy Lube when they opened at 8 am. There was no wait. James came out right away, greeted me politely, and serviced my vehicle quickly and with quality service. He brought to my attention some additional things I needed aside from my oil change. I really appreciated this. His level of professionalism and pleasant disposition was refreshing. James is definitely someone who you want representing your company. His customer service skills are impeccable. I will definitely ask for James in the future. Overall, James at Jiffy Lube in Crestwood really help me to start my day on a high note. Thank you James and JiffyLube! Ms. Cheatom
I went into the Battle Ground service location Battle Ground WA. The minute I drove in the Bay. The service guy was high pressure I asked what an oil change for 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500. His response was $131.00. I said the competitor was $90.00 with a free car wash. Then he got Lipps. When I told him he was too high.
I will preface this by saying 90% of the time I change the oil myself in all 3 of our vehicles because I simply don't trust technicians.
Last summer I needed it done before a long trip and my son-in-law took it to Jiffy Lube as a favor to me during his lunch break.
Months later when it needed changing again I found the drain plug was rounded to the point I could not get a wrench on to get it off.
I had to take it to my regular mechanic who has a lift. He found not only was the plug rounded but it was also cross threaded. He needed a pipe on the handle of his wrench to get it off.
Even worse it was tightened by Jiffy Lube so much the oil pan itself was bent upward.
I had to have the oil pan replaced at my cost!
A fifth grader can change oil after a lesson or two!
I am livid having to pay for this extra work plus removing the factory installed original oil pan part.
The number one rule changing oil is to ALWAYS put the drain plug in hand tight until you can't turn it anymore, then snug it up with a non-pneumatic wrench.
Today's cars cost big bucks and Jiffy Lube owes me the repair costs!
Don't trust this company to complete what should be a simple task!
I feel bad because my son in-law was doing me a favor and it turned out disastrous!
I have no receipt for the oil change just their window sticker and the receipt from my unexpected repair bill.
I want to rate JIFFY LUBE ZERO STARS but site jabber doesn't allow it!

I take all my vans to this sight. I show up at 11:35 with one can, and they come out with no cars in line and tell me they will be off till 12:30 for lunch. Never again will I go here. Hours on window 8-5
Called them couple of times to try and schedule an appointment rings couple times then gets disconnected! The lady was rude she made me wait fifteen minutes, poor customer service! I didn't schedule because it would take two weeks to schedule me in for a safety check? All the reviews I have read was spot on about them not answering there phones and poor customer service! I made an appointment with lex brodies the next day!
I have a media exemption mainly for my child that was with me today I was in my car refused to have service done because I can not wear a mask. Whats next no oil change because I am unvaccnated when do we draw the line at this discrimination and downright bad behavior and treatment towards the healthy people. This is wrong you'll be put on the list which is growing in the 100s to not go there you'll be discriminated. I'll also be filing with human rights. Hope your business goes loses like the government wants it to there not your friend. 7 years a customer goodbye
I've been a customer of Jiffy lube for several years. I have my oil and fuel fluids changed there. I went there last week as usual got my oil changed and also requested my fuel filter needed changing as well. The young lady there stated that the fuel filter was not in stock but she could order it and have it in tomorrow morning. I agreed she ordered it and i paid for the oil change 166.00 and left. The next morning I returned to Jiffy lube and the same young lady pulled me right in the bay no wait at all and said my fuel filter was in. I wated several minutes and finally another employee came up and said they can not do my fuel filter change. I said why I come here all the time. He returned to his manager and ask again. Upon his return he said manager said he couldn't. After that I ask to speak to manager and the manager. Once the manager came over he stated it would take 2 hours to change my fuel filter and to take my vehicle somewhere else because he has too many oil changes wait. He slammed my hood and i drove off. Attached isa picture of how busy thay
Got an oil change on my van prior to a road trip i told them i was about to go on
They lost and did not replace the washer on the the oil plug put a gob of gasket seal around it
My luck i checked under the van 200 miles into my trip and and saw a steady drip from the nut.
Went to another JL and they fixed it no questions asked.
Went back to JL on Cornwall in Bellingham to give them the opportunity to make it right and to only get avoided I will never go back, just bad attitudes and do not care about anything.
This is not the first time they screwed up. The First time. They drained my auto trans fluid instead of engine oil and tried not to let me know luckily did not destroy my transmission I would not let them put air in my bicycle tires!
Bottomline: Do NOT jeopardize your car maintenance by getting service with Jiffy Lube! If reliability of service and risk of damage after service are not your top priority, at least DO NOT get the service done in store #******* (2310 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL *******).
Longer version: I had a three day trip to Orlando and Miami, followed by the International flight of my family. We had prepared for the trip.
On Sunday morning (June 20) I took my car (2018 Toyota Sienna) to Jiffy Lube for oil change. I was initially satisfied with how quick it was done.
Then right before we left Gainesville, traveling less than 15 miles since the oil change, the engine oil light turned on. I took the car to the closest Jiffy Lube (Tower Road) which was closed. I parked the car there overnight to prevent engine problem.
Monday morning, the Jiffy Lube staff at that store checked the oil and confirmed it's completely empty. He examined the filter and said the filter gasket has been tightened up too much and thus broken into two halves. He fixed the issue and refilled the oil.
Right after the fix, I took my car to the previous Jiffy Lube store on Archer Road and explained to the manager what happened and said I will follow up after my trip. As a result of the oil change issue, I missed my hotel reservation and was at the risk of missing the international flight, let alone the potential risk of engine break down (several thousand dollars), risk of someone breaking through my car parked overnight at the store spot, and putting my family's safety in jeopardy.
Once I returned from the trip, I went to the Jiffy Lube store at Archer Road and talked to the manager and assistant manager, more than ten times in person and over the phone. They delayed any response saying they needed to talk to their upper managers, and refused to accept full responsibility for their mistake, by at least refunding me what they had charged for the oil change. They tried their best to refuse by putting all decision making responsibility on higher management, and then not accepting it.
Last time I went there in person to discuss it with the manager. The manager told me to stay in the lobby while he and the other person were working on the cars. From 10:10 AM to 10:40 AM, they worked on 4-5 cars without respecting my time, and refused to talk, so I left. This whole back and forth took 25 days.
To conclude that, I will NEVER EVER go to jiffy lube again to get any car maintenance. I discourage you from doing so. What price are you willing to pay and how much risk do you take, in exchange for a little faster service? THINK TWICE!
Again about this company Jiffy Lube, I had a man fall on me when I was lower bay. So next day my day off told a few people. Guess what they wrote me up and threatening me that if I said anymore I would be fired. And the rating 1 to 5 they deserve a big fat 0

I initially went there to get them check what was going on with my car, which when I tried to start it; It will delay. They checked it and gave me a diagnosis what needed to be replaced so that the problem can be fixed, which I went along with. I reached to the store it was 8:37 am in the morning, they gave an invoice of $529, with the estimated time between 2 to 4 hours of wait... by 1:52 pm, they came back with an other diagnosis of other parts that needed to replace also, which I declined, and it was another charge of $1,404. When I left the store it was 4:00 pm so I spent almost 7 hours. By the next I couldn't drive the car, the problem has gotten worse, I called them... I even try contacting their so called customer service, nothing works. I can't reach to no one that can take this matter into consideration... I just spent money that I didn't get any service for.
