Jiffy Lube

They accidently unscrewed the transmission plug, thinking it was the oil plug. Too much transmission fluid leaked, and they didn't tell me what happened. Two weeks later, transmission started shifting rough. Dealer said it was destroyed. Cost me almost 10,000 to put in a rebuilt used transmission. Jiffy Lube denied all responsibility.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS JIFFY LUBE — THEY DESTROYED MY ENGINE AND TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY. I took my 2017 Ford Escape—my reliable, well-maintained vehicle with ZERO prior issues—to Jiffy Lube on December 19,2024, for a simple oil change. That was the beginning of a nightmare. Three days later, on December 22, after driving only 37 miles, my car suddenly lost power on the highway and began spewing blue-gray smoke. I was forced to pull over and have it towed to Dobbs Tire and Auto Center. What Dobbs found was shocking: the engine was coated in black, dirty oil, and they drained over 6 quarts—despite my vehicle only holding 4.3 quarts total. The dipstick showed oil filled over an inch above the full line. The mechanic explained that the excessive oil fouled the spark plugs, destroyed the catalytic converters, and permanently ruined the engine. Even after replacing plugs and trying to clean it up, the car died again on a test drive. Diagnosis: engine completely destroyed. I immediately brought this to Jiffy Lube's attention. Their response? Blame everyone but themselves. They claimed they only put in the right amount of oil and pointed fingers at Dobbs—without ever speaking to the mechanic or inspecting the damage. Just outright denial, despite the clear timeline and mechanical evidence. Let's be real: my car worked perfectly before Jiffy Lube touched it. It died 37 miles later, drowned in oil. And now I'm left with a dead engine and thousands in losses. If you value your vehicle, your time, and your money—DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. Jiffy Lube's negligence cost me a car, and their refusal to take any responsibility is shameful.

I was at the Bethel Road location in Columbus Oh, store number 1291 today. They severely dented the side of my car and claimed they didn't do anything. I need the video footage. It was not there when I took it in, as I had just checked tire pressures all around my car. Then immediately following they tried to get me to not look at one side of my car and there the huge dent was. Jiffy Lube needs to be responsible for this. Please do not take your car to any Jiffy Lube. Horrible company.

On 9/16/2024 I went to Jiffy Lube 911 Greenville Ave. Staunton VA. To get my yearly car State Inspection done.
When the inspector was doing his inspection, he stated that one of my bulbs on my rear license plate was not working.
I simply replied to please fix it, I prepared to pay him any extra needed for the repair. A few minutes later he said he could not get the bulb, so he rejected my car.
I was not happy about this rejection sticker being on my car for a bulb on my rear tag. I filed a complaint with the State Police and was contacted by an officer. The officer stated that they must remove the sticker from the car when inspected. Fine, I'm satisfied with his answer.
My question to you is, How can 1 bulb on the rear tag of my vehicle be a safety issue? I could understand it if it was a brake light, front headlamp etc. that does hamper the ability to operate my vehicle in a safe manner.
The District manager called from Jiffy Lube on this issue, and I was told that they would order the bulb. I planned for my next day off to have them fix the issue and get a valid sticker on my car.
On 9/23/2024 I was there in the AM and het fixed the lamp and gave me my sticker.
They charged me $87.46 dollars! You can subtract the $1.00 reinspection fee. REALLY?
I asked why so much and was told I had to replace the light assembly there was no bulb.
When I left Jiffy Lube I went straight to ORielly Auto parts and bought the REPLACE BULBS for a total of $8.41!
This inspector is representing the State Police!
Does not this Inspector have to have some knowledge of car repairs?
I believe this is a total scam!

I was lied to about a price of service so they could gain another sale. Instead of being honest about the price, he decided to lie and say it would be cheaper. So I would agree to the service. I would've never agreed if I knew that specific service was that amount. I come to jiffy because I trust that I would receive an honest service. Instead of treating me the customer with basic human decency, instead I got scammed. If I was a man this would've been a different story but as I am woman they prayed on the fact that I have no knowledge of cars. These type of employees that provide our community with dishonest service should absolutely be shut down. We the customers keep this business open by coming for service. At the end of the day what's right Is right and what's wrong is wrong. That man knew what he was doing to gain a sale and it's completely unacceptable!

Went to Jiffy Lube #3964 in Muskego, WI 2/29/24 for an oil change and emissions test. Awesome service, very friendly knowledgeable. I will be taking my truck there from now on.

Upon giving jiffy lube 4 star review, I went home that evening and glanced at my reciept and was surprised to find on my invoice they vacuumed my floorboard topped wiper fluid off checked belts etc... thankyou for service I never expected.i assumed I was just getting an oil change. Great staff

The Eastgate, Jiffy Lube, is the location I have gone too for many years. I trust them, I have always had great, honest work done, and the mgr, Ricky, has always been so helpful and thorough! I highly recommend them. Due to all the Eastgate construction and road closure by this location, it unfortunately, has affected their business. LET'S HELP THEM OUT AND GET AN OIL CHANGE THERE

I used to work for Jiffy Lube I know I go they charge you for things that you don't need they'll tell you need it but you don't need it I will go to another place to handle business there's a racist company it's only two black people work in Friendswood Texas store now it's only one black person working Friendswood store that's racist they will fire you if I could get them zero Stars I would but I can't they want you to pick at least one star don't trust Jiffy Lube and they drink on the job alcohol beer

I needed an oil change and was pressed for time. So I decided to go to jiffy lube in Deer Park N Y. I found a $15 off coupon on line. I thought quick easy and inexpensive. My last oil change from Midas was $40... I use synthetic blend. They wanted to charge me $109! That's with the coupon! I said $109? That can't be right! Employee said it is. I know alot people complain it's high...I said that's three times the amount I pay at Midas! I will never come here again! That's just outrageous! I know it's not his fault but that's just ridiculous... He said I'll see what I can do and then charged me $83. I appreciate that he was very polite and worked with me but those prices are outrageous! Employee's ask were very friendly and kind. Prices are just way too high. And they try to sell you everything extra! Rotate tires $25, air filters... You name it.I know he's just doing his job but I just wanted a quick reasonably priced oil change...I thought $60 would have be fair...

I took my GMC SIERRA AT4 in for oil change and tire rotation, they could not rotate my tires and the service was not acceptable, will not go back!

I would leave 0 stars if I could. I had my oil changed 3 weeks ago at the Payson, UT. Location so I could go on a road trip. While getting it changed I asked them to top off all my fluids so I would be safe on the road. They told me everything was topped off to go. I checked my fluids this morning before leaving and my coolant was below half so it was not safe and my brake fluid was low below half as well. I went back to to the location to ask them to fix the issue and it was 4 teenagers there when I arrived. It was my grandmother and I. She is (78) I am (33F). Pulled us into the bay part way and had us open the hood and took 2 seconds to look at it and said nope it's fine. I explained I checked it while it was cool and it was indeed low and the brake fluid. The girl Jayden said it's $10 to top off my coolant and they wouldn't do my brake fluid. I explained I was just there and it would've been included that day and she said nope it's $10 today. My grandma said she won't be back due to the attitude Jayden and the other girl displayed and Jayden smirked and said "THAT'S FINE" my grandma replied kiss my *** as she was truly upset by Jayden and Jayden proceeded to blow my grandma a kiss and laugh at her and call her a B****. My grandma was the very first customer this location had and was treated horribly today. Her and I both couldn't believe it. The teenage girls were laughing and making remarks to us as we left. Asked for a manager and they said "nope bye". We left and made this post due to that horrible treatment!

The business reached out on here to "look concerned" the manager posted under my review here and on google with his email and asked me to reach out about my concerns as he was very troubled by my encounter. Funny thing is I've reached out multiple times via email, calls and messages and never got a response. Clearly it's all for show and it's no wonder why his establishment is ran the way it is and the teenagers working treat people like trash and swear at you.

Don't work for them if you don't want to get paid unlesss u be working for free. He won't call u they won't ask phone my mangers no help

I'm about to leave the Jiffy Lube in Jeffersonville, IN on 10th Street. But I decided to write this review before I leave because I don't want to forget. The guys are awesome from the top down. The leadership here is outstanding & you can tell it has trickled down. It's going to be 100 degrees today, they are all super hot & not only is no one complaining, but most are even smiling with a few corny jokes to tell while you wait.

The personnel at this service center are extremely rude and cuss words without hesitation. Shame on them! I went to get oil and filter changed and when I heard the price I called the nearby dealer and told the person at Jiffy Lube service center that they are charging more than they should. He got very angry and asked to to get out! Very unprofessional. Shell, the parent company, needs to train these people on customer service. Their crude behavior is unacceptable. Its really a shame.

I Called Prior in the day to book an appointment for an Oil Change. Mentioned I will be Bringing My Own Oil compatible with my Range & My Own Oil Filter, & quoted me 30$…. Got there sat in the Boiling Hot seating area & I spoke with an employee, He stated the 5L of oil might not be Enough to fill up my Range Rover and he said that they would do a " Top-Up " Additional Fee of 6-8 Dollars I said that's Fine & HE also added that my total would be around 30-40 dollars which is what I Expected because I Brought ALL the Products they just needed to Install.

I Get ready for Checkout & he says total is 95.51 —- LOL I couldn't have made it EASIER FOR THEM. TO NOT rip me off.

& then when I Stated i was told by MULTIPLE employees over the phone & 15 minutes ago my total would be 40$ they basically ignored me

The entire service on my car took 15 min OH and they added another charge for " checking my tire pressure " LOL all they did was go through the controls on my Suv and Claimed that extra charge LOL what a Joke.
