Didn't like that I ended up signing up for automatic renewal without an option not to? I will renew, but I may change my payment option.
We had fun making and giving a Father's Day JibJab. Overall, making the video was a little clumsy, and the site response time is slow. The clumsiness came from needing to join part way through and then getting kicked out a second time to pay (signing up is not membership). $18/year is a bit much, particularly when you get nickeled and dimed for downloads and what not. Still, it is a fun thing to do. I tried to make another video for someone to get more out of my membership, but I couldn't find a video template that I liked. It could use more choices. And did I mention that it is sloooow?
I created two e-videos for Father's Day, with a 50% success rate. One worked fine for my Dad, one (for my father-in-law) was not ever delivered correctly. He had "site not found" errors although it worked fine on my computer. I tried 3 times, with the same result.
Could not find anything online to help figure out if he needed to change some settings (?) in order to view.
Very surprised the site still needs flash to play videos. I hope that's something you're all rushing to fix because you have a great, crazy-fun tool with a big limitation.
I sent two greetings out. On one I received a confirmation the message was sent. On the other there was no message, even after clicking on resend on multiple tries.
Never meant to charge my credit card a full year membership I thought I was paying a one-time fee for a video that I made two or three years ago I'm waiting for a refund
I add pictures and go through the whole process but the video doesn't work...
It took me a bit on how to chane the "heads" faces. That was so frustrating and I feel there needs to be an easier way to line up the
Mouth. That's too complicated!
I found however that some e-card would not allow you to personalize the card with a greeting. This was mention in the terms of condition. Nevertheless the function not operating is disappointing. E-cards were not delivered as scheduled I had to copy and paste links and resend the cards to the recipients.
I signed up for a rolling year (which I didn't realise at the time) and the person reviewing the card had to pay to view it!
I payed this subscription for a year so I could make cards for my husband and father for father's day and both of them did not receive them. My email said they were sent and I checked both of their email and nothing was received. I also could not pull up the videos on my phone to at least play for them.
I asked for the card to be delivered on 17th June with copy to me once delivered. None of the three emails to which it was supposed to be sent to received it, nor did I receive the confirmation copy.
I like the idea and love what it offers however I would like to see more videos.
I don't see my Dad often, and at 80 I'm grateful he's still around to talk to. He has sworn off computers and technology -- but I sent him a jibjab Father's Day Card via my Mom and he LOVED it. Laughed out loud! We got to enjoy it over the phone. JibJab is the new Hallmark -- just wait and see.
Have had a membership before and just rejoined. Good instructions and easy to use.
Answer: Unfortunately, now you can only edit your heads immediately after you upload them, which makes it a waste of time to save them because each head you upload will only work correctly for the video you uploaded it for. I was told they removed the 'edit any time' function so people could use their app on androids which sounds pretty absurd to me. Oh well, this will be the last year I ever pay for it again if they don't correct this outrage.
Answer: We've removed the fine-tuned shaping feature for now to make our casting process easier for all; we also made adjustments so that users can easily cast their cards directly on mobile devices. This is part of our desire to make sure that anyone can learn to use and send our cards! Please feel free to reach out to [email protected] with any additional feedback and we'll pass it along.
Answer: No more than 30 min. Had to find and edit my pictures that I used.
