I picked the animation, added the face, wrote out the text. Then I went back and fixed up the placement of the face a little. Then sent it. The receiving party told me they did not get the text.
A waste of my time! A notification should have been given that the system was down before I started to create a card to send. I was a first time user and this is a real turn off
Simple to use website and brought unexpected fun to a birthday greeting. Recipient was suitably congratulated.

Its super easy to create funny e-cards to send around. Very impressed with how good the finished product looks after a couple of minutes choosing a photo and highlighting the mouth.
A bit disappointed that I can't directly embed the video or download without having to pay additional costs. It integrates nicely with Facebook, but I can't store a copy of the video locally without paying another $2 on top of the yearly subscription.
Not worth you time money or effort. Faces and mouths not put where you place them. I cannot express enough how disappointed I am that I wasted actual money on this.

All I wanted was to send my niece a birthday card.
First had to see if I still was a member (or known by your site)... I was
Then I made the card, but when I played it my niece's face wasn't there.
So I figured I had to become a member or subscribe. Can't remember what happened next but each time I had to do that I lost the download and started from scratch (pick category, pick card, download pic, center eyes, make mouth). Finally I saw that I had 3 or 4 of the same picture to the right of it and I was supposed to use the ones I had done already. And getting the message to 140 characters had me counting space by space over and over again...(you can tell... 140 characters is tough for me). At least 10 times I wrote new messages and each time I got an over 140 error message. Even though on a few occasions I counted 130 or less (I'd see the "characters left counter" with a number but still got the error). FINALLY I sent it and she never wrote back to say she got it. So I don't know if she did or not... Now I see there's a CAPTCHA below and perhaps all that I write now will not go through as I tend to misread the blurry run-on letters that appear... another 10 tries I feel may be in my future.

I enjoy using JibJab for sending fun greetings to family and friends --- but I would like to see some new choices --- so many of the videos and cards have been on the site for years -- time for some new stuff!
I thought it was $1.50/month, but they charged me $18/yr... the product as it stands is not worth $18/yr. I requested a refund, but 30 days elapsed and they absolutely, positively, will not ever, ever, never, reconsider anything past 30 days, because that is in their law. I feel ripped off.

I thought that the $18 entitled you to some of the cartoon cards. WRONG! You have to pay $1.99 each for them on TOP of the membership. Guess I should have read the fine print. Turned out I had used the same one for Valentines day three years ago. Oooppsss... I turned off auto renew.

I got an e-mail saying that my subscription had been refunded. No reason given. It took me a while to co-ordinate re-joining. Everyone was very charming but didn't really know how to help at first.
We need more jibjabs where you insert the faces. These are much more fun than the cartoons. Also, can we have a Jibjab of scuba divers please. All my pals are divers and I'd like to send something appropriate.
The categories were aptly named, and the process quick and easy to use. I'm middle aged and thought it might be tricky but it was straight forward.

Answer: Unfortunately, now you can only edit your heads immediately after you upload them, which makes it a waste of time to save them because each head you upload will only work correctly for the video you uploaded it for. I was told they removed the 'edit any time' function so people could use their app on androids which sounds pretty absurd to me. Oh well, this will be the last year I ever pay for it again if they don't correct this outrage.
Answer: We've removed the fine-tuned shaping feature for now to make our casting process easier for all; we also made adjustments so that users can easily cast their cards directly on mobile devices.
