Let's be realistic guys: there are bad people in this world as well as good ones. No dating site can give you 100% guarantee that you won't come across a scammer. Another thing is that plenty of dating sites are originally using different phony schemes. As for j4l, I won't call it a phony site, because they indeed have plenty of real and verified profiles, but even if they verify a woman's id and her marital status, there is no way they can guarantee that this woman will make a good, honest and faithful wife. It's relatively easy to identify a scammer, guys: she instantly "falls in love" with you, rarely talks about herself and her family, tends to have romantic non sense conversations with you all the time, and sooner or later she asks you for money. Just stay away from such women, no matter what site you're using!

I just want to point out, to anyone who finds this, that if you pay attention to all the 4 and 5 star reviews for this dating site, you'll spot a pattern. This is especially obvious with the profiles that have, exactly, "2 reviews". One of those reviews is for J4L, and how great it is (4 or 5 stars), and the second review is for Plenty of Fish (POF), or other rival dating site, and how horrible it is (1 or 2 stars).

It gets even more obvious when you actually read those 1-2 star reviews. They are literally the same arguments, just with slightly different words. It's all about how women on those sites are low quality and how men shouldn't waste their time there. Some of those reviews even go as far as to include referral links to J4L as "a much better alternative, where women who respect men and are far more beautiful can be found" (or some variation of these words). To be fair, when reported, moderators seem to delete those links, but somehow the massive amount of fake reviews continues, even though I'm pretty sure it's against the rules to do this type of thing. I'm going to assume SiteJabber is simply unable to prove these people are affiliated with J4L (use of VPN, maybe?).

Listen, I have no doubt that East European women are, on average, better looking, and better wives, than most others, but that's not the point. The point is that, apparently, people with a vested interest in this website (J4L) are using multiple accounts, and abusing SiteJabber permeable system, to boost their site's reputation while lowering the competition. That's just scummy behaviour.

I don't like POF (or any of the free sites out there), but if your site is really that good, why do you need to resort to dirty tactics? Why can't the "5-star" service speak for itself?

The rabbit hole gets deeper, though. For instance, they also create "review" sites where they rank themselves number 1 (or, at least, within top 5, together with sister sites that are run by the same people), in the hope that if you search for "J4L review" or "J4L scam", the sites that appear are theirs and, of course, they always reassure that these sites are legit. You'll recognise these sites by how they always have a recent date on the title (like "Updated January 2020"). This is, of course, to lure people who are looking for the freshest information.

Don't just take my word for it. Do your research and you should find out as much, if not more, about these people are really working. It's not just J4L either. Look at the dating sites "recommended" on those fake review sites to see the long list of scamming dating sites which are using this tactic.

Also, please don't be shy to post about this information on your own reviews because I'm sure they'll bury THIS review with dozens of "new" 5-star fake ones, so very few people will have the opportunity to read this.

Few months ago I wrote that I liked this site. Now I want to update my review: I love it! I met my love there! Now that I've had two trips to Ukraine and she has received her tourist visa to visit me next month, I can confirm that the site is working! It's not just about taking your money, but they actually have plenty of real and sincere girls, like my love Ludmila. I don't know where the negative reviews come from, maybe these guys have just had some bad luck, I can't guarantee that absolutely every woman is 100% sincere, but I'm sure that if it has worked out so great for me, it will work out the same way for others.

Like so many international video enabled dating sites it pays its girls to talk to you. If you get a good one you might even get a peep show. Why they do this, the amount of money they can make off of you. Here is their ad on VK to hire 'translators.' Easy enough to find if you have VK account, or just use a translation app if you do not know Russian. So you tell me if you still think that at 19, 20, 21 year old girl is hot and bothered for a 63 year old man, if you get my meaning. I have a few friends that work at these sites, most of them say the same thing, they would not touch or date a foreign man after their experiences working for these sites. The women are not fakes in the sense of a fat man at a computer somewhere. No most are college students. Most do not have children. And despite the easy of finding social media accounts, most that do have relationships are taught how to cover those up just in case her victim, err, date, is curious and starts looking for her online. They are also instructed not to talk to you outside of the site, or if you buy/earn her contact, to drag you back to the site. Her explanation is that she only has internet at the agency, her computer is on loan from the agency, she just does not have time right now - there are a few more that some of the ladies have mentioned. I personally have made friends from some of these ladies (most from networking on VK) and the stories they tell are disgusting, funny and scary. Note the money they make from the sites is enough to buy a computer in a short time. My favorite source does tell me that all the girls are paid at least a commission, at least for the company she works for.

Women on site are very loyal to the site... they get commission from the activity they create! In a couple of days you will get at least 500 women writing to you repeatedly even if you just ignore them.
For Gods sake run a google search on the pictures and know who they are before you chat with them... use facebook and social media to locate them via the google search and while chating ask some questions on the facts you have found out... Do a reality check!
Now that said... some of the models are actually real... they have no intension of ever meeting you... they are just having a nice second income working for J4L.com.
Be carefull out there!

Maybe it's not a 100% ideal site but I met my girlfriend there, and it didn't take me too long. What sets them apart from the other dating sites I had tried before is banning scammers in an instant, as soon as you report them, also they do refund their members in multiple situations. I met a few women through them, all of them were nice and acted friendly and natural, whereas two women I had previously met through Anastasiadate were very cold and shopping-oriented.

I was reading the comments via this site and I believe that the people who posted on here are employees or the Owner(s). The pictures that show you have a lot of individuals in the area you reside are actually of the same individuals. Meaning, you look at one profile and they may have 5 or 6 pictures. They use those same pictures and they are represented as other individuals. I must admit that was very smart; yet, when you are forced to pay as much and find out that you only have 5 people in your region and they show up in other regions as well with another name. That tells the story right there. I requested to have my account closed and to be refunded. As it was only 1.5 days and I got close to 50 emails of the same individuals or the system telling me they want to hook up. Yeah, I'm in USA and they are in UK. Same person contacting me is in UK, Mexico, and USA. It's a SCAM!

This is one of the best dating websites I have ever tried. I had decided to give it a try after browsing around for a few minutes. I bought some credits to be able to chat, updated my profile, and uploaded my picture etc. Then within those few minutes of updating my profile I had found several really beautiful and sexy women and with the small confidence I had I started a chat with 1 of them. At first she was very friendly, as we started chatting we started getting along with each other. As more time had went by she had me thinking she is definitely the one for me, we had a lot of things in common and I had a really good time talking to her. She obviously was on the website doing the exact same thing as me and looking for boyfriend/husband. Now don't get me wrong there are a lot of beautiful and sexy girls on here and they are actually authentic based on the few conversations that I tried to have with various girls. Now compared to the other websites I had tried which were definitely scams compared to J4L which is definitely the opposite of a fake dating website. Best dating website in my scenario with so much to do. I highly recommend any new users who want to try to follow my advice and you will most likely have the same results as me. First of all you upload your picture, 2nd of all you update your profile, 3rd of all you find the girls that are online. I thank the creators of this website for helping me find my very beautiful girlfriend within a hour and also for the confidence boost :).

This site has 95% fake profiles. The agencies are out there many nights looking
For ladies to chat with us fat, boring Americans. There is no way the site can monitor which agencies hire girls to chat. There are no checks and balances. Yes, some of these ladies look amazing in video chat and in their professionally touched up photos. But i can tell some of them are chatting with 50 guys at once. I also suspect some of these videos are pre-recorded and just run on a continuous loop. One girl i check on now and then in her video chat room is wearing the same outfit every day. Come on... At least make a few videos to throw us off.
I have a friend in Ukraine that worked for a few agencies and she said we have no Idea hwo bad these scams are. She was a translator and she wrote most of the letters.

Designed to disappoint! As a battle-scared, 3 year participant, I have become wiser ( and poorer). There are 2 methods to obtain the lady's email address and leave these vultures - send an overpriced gift to which you can attach your email, or send 15 relatively expensive letters ( about $100 - depending on your level of "investment") But the letter route does not get you her email - you only receive her mailing address ( who needs it?), and her phone number. You call the number multiple times and never connect - even to an answering machine. You complain to Support but they say they don't have her email - only the local office where she first registered does. They offer to send your email to that office for the lady to pick up but I have never had success with this. Question - after spending over $100, why can't J4L have her address on file and cut the BS? They have raised their prices twice this year which makes them one of the most expensive online services. And recently, it became impossible to send the cheaper, 1 minute message to the ladies I had already sent the 15 letters to, so that the only way to continue was with the more expensive letter at $6-7 each. I have spent hundreds, and have nothing to show for it! The Support feature used to be very good but has declined in the past year, IMO.
