They just want to keep you on the site as that is how they make their money. They may promise to meet but when the time comes they have an excuse and set another date so they can keep you talking and taking your money.

Ok, here is the test, create a profile, and upload a picture of the most hideous old man you can find, as you write about yourself in your profile of being infected with every STD a man could contract, and that you are also a deadbeat, rapist, and AXE murderer, and guess what, you will yet have no trouble at all receiving a torrential overflow of robo love messages from hundreds to thousands of profiles.

Oh and please J4L, spare me your BS apologies, because that is what they exactly are, and beware people are going to go to the length to get you shut down if they can.

I've been using it with mixed success. It's hit and miss (I would say, mostly miss). Better than a lottery.
Apparently, some women have materialistic mindset and they want to leave their countries. But knowing what's happening in Ukraine I can't blame them.
However, it's possible to find good girls there :) I wouldn't say it's a super easy task, but it's apparently it's possible.

Overall they have "quality women". 90%-95% of true quality women. Sorry for this expression, but it really describes them best. Some of these women seem a bit dodgy, but I can't say for sure.
I had hideous experience on the other sites, so once bitten twice shy. I'll be very careful and smart now.
I only chat with the women I can see in live video chat.

So you can be 100% sure that the ladies you see on this site are real. I confirm it since I've had six dates in Ukraine (Kiev and Nikolaev) with 6 women. All of them were genuine and very sweet. What I like is they don't have long-term subscription. Another thing that I like is the amazing array of very beautiful women. And there is one thing that I don't like: the cost! I am an American living in Kyiv. I moved here since I can work remotely, and to be with my Ukrainian girlfriend who I met on another site. But as soon as I moved here we broke up.

So I gave j4l a try. I was on the site for a month, and only communicated with women in the Kyiv area.
Despite many women saying how interested they were in me how much they wanted to meet me, absolutely ZERO of the women would actually commit to a meeting. They were sick, they wanted to go slow, their family was sick.

I would get passive aggressive letters that seemed to be written by different people. Some demanded immediate responses to letters, others then saying how much they wanted me. Like all these sites the women get a cut of the money you spend, so they have every incentive to lead you along and some letters may be written by their marriage agencies and others by the ladies (it is typical on many sites, I cannot say for sure this is the case with J4L but the tones of letters were very strange and inconsistent).

I seemingly almost had a date with a woman whose profile said she was a doctor, but then she got sick at the last minute. I did an image search of her, and found her profile on another site, which said she was a lawyer. I pointed this out to her, she said, "Did you consider I might have two degrees?"

I responded the sites said Doctor then Lawyer was your profession, and do you really have two degrees and what is your profession? She did not answer the question and stopped writing to me.

Note that not all dating sites have searchable images so just because they do not show up in an image search does not mean they are not on other sites.

I also did an image search on another lady and found her on 6 different sites. This is a job for many of them. Usually the cut is 10% of everything you spend on such sites. The business model encourages them to lead men on, and not actually date.

On the other hand, I have chatted for 5 minutes with ladies on Tinder and gotten dates within days. Last week I joined another site I had used in the US, I immediately found three women who wanted to meet on Valentines day. I met with the one woman who committed to a specific date first, and she was absolutely amazing. Smart, confident, sweet, gorgeous. Excellent English, she was impressed with me as I with her. And I have another date tomorrow with another lady from the same site but I am optimistic about the lady I met today.

How come on J4L I can't get a woman to meet with me after a month, but on other sites I get dates within days?

The woman nag for instant responses to letters, get petulant if you do not respond every day, do not answer direct questions, and constantly act passive aggressive.

I have asked my account to be deleted, I told a few of the "ladies" why I was leaving, I will be curious to see how long it takes to delete my account.

The site is for entertainment and draining your wallet value only.

I didn't expect much from this site and I was quite skeptical about all this Russian dating idea when I joined it, but on the other hand I wanted to try it out because I saw many beautiful women online. As a result I went to Ukraine twice to meet three women. I spent time with all these three women. They all looked awesome and they were sweet. The first one was too career-oriented, not my type of woman. The second girl was very kind and friendly, but just too young for me. Finally, we really clicked with the third lady. We had very romantic time and we started dating. So I guess now I can say that this site was helpful, knock on wood. %

Site with fake women profiles. You won't chat with real women on it, only with bots or with men who manage plenty of women accounts in the chat rooms. Be careful

As mentioned on another review below, literally all 4 and 5 star reviews here are written by fake accounts. You can tell by the fact that they use the exact same arguments that the site owners use on their web site. It's pure marketing. They also use these multiple accounts to "up vote" (clicking "Helpful") on their own reviews, but they never review anything else, or when they do, it's always a rival site which, of course, gets lambasted with 1 and 2 stars.

You'd have to be incredibly gullible to think any of the positive reviews are real. But if you're really that dumb, take notes of what the negative reviews point out, and then create your own account. Test everything and you'll notice that ALL criticisms are spot on.

Whatever you do, just DON'T spend your money. Scammers don't deserve to make a profit, especially when they abuse SiteJabber like this... shame.

How about a site where you write in "About myself" 'I am 5 feet tall, fat, plenty of zits, and bad teeth. And in the "About my partner" 'I am told that only scammers are on this site. Can anyone proves me wrong?' Now, not only no one even attempted to prove me wrong, many wrote that they loved my profile and that they had so much in common with mine. Really? Of course, the fact that I brought in a picture that only a mother could love, I received over 200 letters within 6 hours being online by models.

Come on people, this is ridiculous! CLEARLY, this site is managed by crooks.

I think this site is efficient, I'm one of those who found a partner through them. Yes, it required couple of trips to Ukraine, but I didn't have to spend years chatting, I knew she was serious from the moment she agreed to leave the site and communicate outside of it (I've never gone as far as this on the other dating sites). So I was lucky on j4l and my search progressed quickly. I can definitely recommend it. Never lose your mind though (on any site that you're using), it's easy to identify a scammer, if someone starts asking you for money - report her, it will be very helpful to the site and its users.

Things turned around for me when I signed up. Lots of beautiful women to hit up who make me feel giddy inside! Well, it had happened before on the other sites, but I had always encountered the same problem: they never wanted to move forward, leave the site, talk on skype, etc. I had been going round and round in circles - just a continuous money drain.
I must give credit to this site, because things are quite different here for some reason: so far I have got contact information of 4 women and they ALL keep in contact with me via free messengers, three of them are really willing to meet, neither of them has asked me for money or gifts. I came to this site after spending years on Tinder, Pof, MeetMe and others. There are at least two really great things about it: many beautiful women and their attitude is more positive, simpler and I would say, more family-oriented. Another positive moment is their helpful customer service, no bogus charges, no automatic subscription and other tricky schemes. There are some flaws as well: the majority of these women live far away, so you have to be ready to travel. You can still meet someone who wants to take your money one way or another, so don't be oblivious to this fact and use your common sense!

When I saw plenty of model-looking ladies messaging me I thought it was another con site using bots. For some reason I decided to still give it a try. I changed my opinion, when I requested contact details of one lady after exchanging some messages with her. To my greatest surprise, she talked to me on Viber and her English was more or less ok. We're still in close contact! After that I requested personal contacts of several more ladies and again, all of them but one are using free messengers now to talk to me, they didn't ghost me and they aren't glued to the site, which is the biggest problem on many Eastern-Europe dating sites.

I definitely recommend this site, it's sets apart from many others. This is one of the few sites that actually supply what they promise. There are still some scammers, but you come across them very rarely, and they get removed quickly. Use your common sense and don't send your money to anyone. The majority of their women are real, they don't put off meeting you face-to-face, which happens very often on many other dating sites. I had a few dates with j4l women in Kiev, they were all pretty, sweet and interested.

Girls here seldom have webcams so the door is open to total scam. You have no idea who you are talking to! But I would say in 99% of the cases you are chatting with a secretary or hired translator that has NOTHING to do with the profiles you chose that shows only beautiful women! 2 times the excuse was `my webcam is broken and I don't know when it will be fixed` and twice a video was shown but it was a pre recorded video! The height of fraud was when I asked one to walk around the chair. Then came a pause and you could see that another pre recorded film was being loaded where she walks around the chair! TOTAL SCAM! I reported it to the site and the girl has disappeared! Anyway stay away from this site - 99% fake chats! Good luck Harry
