It's tests are too long and they set you back too far every time you miss the damm question. Too long. Also i hav to sign up EVERY DARN TIME.

This thing sucks it says answers are wrong than gives you the same answers as the right answer and if you get something wrong it takes you down about 20 point and you have to restart it! DON'T GET!

IXL IS TERRIBLE AND IT WASTED YOUR CHILD'S TIME, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS. STUDENTS THAT HAVE IXL ARE GOING CRAZY AND THEY CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

I've been doing IXL since kinder and I'm in 8th right now. This website didn't even teach me anything! I stressed, had break downs, and I just wanted to give up so bad! IXL really depended on my grade so I had to work for ages just to get it done. I also spent my entire weekend sitting and staring at the screen so I could get a good grade TWICE. IXL really doesn't teach you anything and I'm glad I wont have to do it anymore.

Its absolute bull. This is ok for reviewing maybe, but for learning or anything else it sucks. It plays into the super Mario effect, theres videos of that on YT but its a Shiite app

IXL is the best... If you want to RUIN KIDS SELF ESTEEM! Every one in my class cries because they were at 99 and then got bumped down to 72! IXL dose not help people learn at all! Lots of people think that they are not smart enough if they don't get 100 smart score. I highly recommend you stop doing IXL if you do.

Are teacher gives us over 20 skills like bruh and she thinks that were gonna do all them when only 1 did like are like are teachers stupid or something like its so freaking stressful you learn nothing and like the teacher tells us to go on the computer for stupid IXL then i don't even do it cause it so freaking annoying to do. Also, we have to do it for summer work like b- your dumb like they say "yOu shOuld dO iT iNsTeaD oF nOt dOinG iT" obviously i dont do it just tell your kids that we should take a test if you like ixl or not and some people in my class last year loved IXL like they're dumb anyways IXL go sit in a hole of mud and rethink about your life decision - ps ur local hater :)

IXL is probably the WORST form of punishment to a child. It's down right abuse! IXL belongs in a dungeon as a way to interrogate people. Please save your money and DONT buy IXL. I have been forced at school to use this and it's horrible.and this is why it's so bad. 1.it's so frustrating! Every time you get an answer right your score goes up buy like 3 points (you have to get up to 100) and every time you get one wrong it goes down by 7-10 points. Also as you get further into that skill points go up by less and down by more. It's hard and stressful. 2.the skills just aren't grade appropriate. I'm in 6th grade and there is still counting money value which is also a second grade skill;-;. 3. It's expensive for just a month you will have to pay upwards of 20 bucks! Guys come on if you want trash it's outside for free! Don't waste your valuable money on this crap. Now there are good aspects of IXL to. 1.its good for making people spill their secrets one look at the IXL screen will have them spilling the beans real fast. Anyway I know I'm just some sixth grader and your pro lanky not gonna wanna except the truth that IXL is that bad but cmon go to any review site and you'll see the bad reviews overflowing.

Ixl sucks so much. For example once i had a smart score of 99. Then i got the next answer correct then it stayed at 99 then i got the next one wrong because i did 7.5 as an answer and they wanted 7.50 and it dropped it down all the way to 78 even though 7.5=7.50. So teachers don't spend your money just to torture children

The ixl skill that I was doing was grade 7 X. 14 similar and Congruent figures. I woke up at 6:00 am in the moring to finish the ixl. I tried my best to do the ixl but sorry incorrect. I am very confused and stressed. Takes away so many points away. I wish it didn't take my points away and it sould explain to me what I did wrond, and what subject I am doing.

I don't like IXL.com! It is the most stressful, toxic and stupid thing ever! My father makes do it everyday, I don't wanna do it anymore, I literally cut through my exercise to write the truth about this sit/app.
I sometimes cry because the exercises are impossible, some are easy but others are absurdly unattainable to the hundredth %! I started IXL when I was 5, and I am now 12 and tired of doing it!

Everything is perfect. Basically, people say that you bump back a lot when you do IXL, but in my perspective, that just helps the students by continuing harder, and that's just my opinion, hope y'all will agre

This site wastes a lot of your time and takes up your patience. Also, at the same time, ixl is not the most efficient for learning. Teachers just use it because they don't want to manually grade an assignment or make one. Ixl is really just doesn't benefit anyone whatsoever. Students might also feel anxiety and anger (which creates hate to the teachers that assigned it). I personally think that this site is complete torture (mental breakdown). IXL should disband for the good of everyone.

ANY CHILD WHO HAS EVER DONE THIS KNOWS HOW TERRIBLE IT IS! Any website you see with a positive response? Probably sponsored of IXL, and has never tried it. I have looked at almost every website on the internet about this, and no one has ever given a good review. My dad is a math teacher, and even he agrees that this is terrible. I have gotten bad grades on assignments because I was too worried about IXL. I have not eaten because of that stress. It pushes you to be perfect, even when you know that you did it right, and all you did wrong was accidentally click submit before you were finished, and have to do 10 more questions to get back to where you were. The photo I have below? Those 57 questions took me about 3 hours. I didn't know the material, and once I was done, I still didn't know the material. This is just useless for anything except inducing panic.
