It is so fricken stressful when you get to 99 get one wrong and it brings you back to 79, and then it gives you 2 points for each you get right. It is sometimes wrong and gives you bs answers. I have so much ixl I have to do 62 ixl to do and that is just for one part out of five. Overall super stressful and more infuriating rather than making you smart.

Ixl has given stress. Its also unfair how we get not that many points on one question but we lose more than we earn when we get one wrong. Ixl is a lot of work too. Schools use it, and that's all the proof I need to dislike it, but to my surprise its worse than that. You should not make your kids do this app! It cause stress! Children get over whelmed! Some people enjoy, and the app is getting good rating from strict/not strict teachers and touters!

Its so bad and stressful when i say it sucks i mean it SUCKS. Its one of the most stressful apps in the world
if i could kill IXL I WOULD but sadly i can, t I DO NOT RECOMMEND. If you are kid its so uncouraging

I will tell reasons why i hate this stupid ahh program.
1. Rigged and f****** up smart score. Who would come up with this dumb idea to add this s***?
2. Overpriced as f*****
3. Kids getting tortured. The more they get it wrong, the sooner they throw their laptop and send their butts to the principals office and get punished by your parents and make them pay for it.
4. It takes forever to get these done.

IXL is a waste of your time. My mom has forced me to do IXL since i was in first grade! I had to complete all of the skills in the summer for the grade im going to the next year. If i could, I would give IXL a negative infinity rating. It has made me cry millions of times and Im going to sixth grade now. It gives me stress and makes me angry. One time I was so angry i almost broke the ipad. Normally, if you get a question right it glitches and says "Sorry Incorrect". THAT ANNOYS ME SO MUCH. What do you mean sorry incorrect! Ur making my life living hell! I tried explaining to my mom how i hate ixl and even showed her the reviews which are 1 star ratings, but she keeps on saying "So what? That's the other people's opinion about IXL! IXL is good so keep on doing it". I cant believe she doesnt understand its hows i feel too! Normally, I wouldn't hate IXL this much but because my mom makes me do 20-40 skills a day, I want to punch the person who made IXL in the face. I still do. Why do you think Im pouring all my anger and tears out into trying to calmly write this long comment? I so wish the person who created IXL never existed. Im sorry for being so aggressive but me and my brother really feel this way. Please, if you're a parent please understand how your child feels about IXL. And if you are a child, tell ur parents, have the courage to tell them how you actually feel about IXL. If u are one of the people who made IXL and are reading this, this is true. Its not a lie. The one thing I hate about IXL is when you put in a wrong answer it will move you back like 10 "points" and then when you get it right it will move you up two. For all the people out there I definitely say NO IXL

My kids (10 and 13) are forced to use this program for their school. All I can say about it, is that this is the perfect way to cause your kids stress and anger when doing their homework. They get awarded less points for correct answers than are deducted for incorrect answers. There have been many times when my children were nearly at 100 percent but because of just a few mistakes they ended up with a very low score. Assignments can end up taking far too long due to this rigged system. This whole learning program is set up to cause kids to feel anxious about getting a wrong answer because of the ridiculous amount of points deducted. If you want to listen to your kids scream and cry in frustration, I recommend IXL. Otherwise stay far away!

Honestly as one of ixl's students am very happy with ixl. It really does help me get better. I understand some kids don't like the fact it bumps you down ten points when you get a question wrong but I honestly love it, as it helps me try harder so I won't be bumped down which helps me get better grades because it makes me try harder on other things too and I love the fact that it repeats questions gives me a chance to reanswer the ones I got wrong and remember the ones I got right.

I hate It. It is so so stressful Yuo get only 3 points when you are are correct and lose 10 points when you are wrong, you can have 99 points at one time but get one wrong and back to 70 points, and I think that is not fair

I'm a child, BUT I STILL GET PAIN FROM THIS, I used to love ixl, do it everyday without problem years ago, BUT ON ONE DAMN DAY I ALMOST MISSED DINNER JUST BECAUSE I WAS CRYING FROM MISSING ONEEE QUESTION, I had spent HOURS getting to that point and what did I get? PROGRESS RESET TO 80, THE CHALLENGE ZONE IS INSANE AS WELL, IT GOES UP ONE BY ONE, SUCH ASSSSSSSS (not the curse word), you spend 2 hours getting from 90 to 95 in challenge zone, you mess up, NOW YOUR AT 86- my parent don't see the pain I get from this, I literally told my mom about how your progress goes down so badly from just one wrong question, AND SHE SAID ITS JUST HOW TO LEARN AND SOMEEEEE PROGRAMS DO THAT, WELL YES I KNOW ITS HELPS ME LEARN, BUT ITS NOT WORTH ALL THE TEARS YOU GET FROM IT! I haven't done ixl for years BUT I HAVE TO DO 2 EVERYDAY NOW, I KNOW ITS NOT MUCH, BUT I ALREADY SPENT HOUR ON JUST ONE, AND I MISSED YESTERDAY AND THE DAY BEFORE, SO I'M FORST TO DO 6 TODAY, AND WHAT HITS HARD IS WHEN YOU KNOW THE ANSWER BUT YOU MISS TYPE IT SO YOUR HARD WORK, GONE-

Very bad site when I get the question wrong it gives away points... Not fair I got mad about ixl's Smart score. Must be removed. But Good news in 2020 the founder of ixl made a new learning program awesome!

I believe that IXL is runned by the Jehovah Witnesses trying to get me to stop being Catholic, IXL really licked my toes clean off. It is more rigged than the December 7th election, I wish my brother were still alive but ya know he was mauled by a Grizzly Bear. I give IXL a 1 star because it is runned by China, you just ruinin it mate. Then my dog nonclipped into the backrooms thank god where was no entities then Lombo pulled out an AKM and started shooting the homeless in New York City. Unfortunately Lombo had a heart attack which started World War III with the African Countries. Sudan was annexed and everyone rerturned back to normal. This is why I don't like IXL

Ixl is trash its score system is trash everything about it is so trash and i just want to say that i cry every time I do ixl it doesn't help me the only thing it does is make my life even trash and my life is already trash I don't understand why they make there point system like this just improve it and people will like your app more yet you are like in slaving millions of kids doing this sad depressing dumb saying its helping but its just trash and so is its trash owner Paul that doesn't understand us and i would give you a 0 review ratting but i cant so fix that to.

Since my english grades are dropping, my mom payed for ixl and made me do it for hours a day. The worst part is that its my summer break and i dont get to do the fun summer stuff that everyone does but im stuck inside doing stupid ixl. The smartscore thing sucks because you get one question correct, you get like 2 points but then you got one wrong and all of a sudden you lose 10 points. Like ffs just make the system balanced. Ixl makes me want to punch and destroy my computer because of how frustrating it is. I DO NOT RECCOMEND AS IT MAKES YOU HATE LEARNING SO MUCH. This is coming from a 12 year old who skipped a grade.
