Folks, please do yourself a favor stay away it's a waste of money. It's been almost a year, and a $3400 upfront payment and All I can show for it is a one lousy,horrendous date. Folks they will destroy your self-esteem and make you second-guess yourself, as soon as you pay,they'd stop replying to your email answering your phone calls. All you get is the answering machine.I understand by now I would never see my money back, but the least I can do is educate other fools like me who are thinking to sign up. It's my civic duty as a decent citizen please don't do it. Oh by the way, the contract states that you get 12 dates within three years, so you got someone in charge so called the matchmaker,picking dates for you ( 99% of the time are horrendous dates that you would never consider going out with)and when you declined them they count against your quota, regardless. Let me put it this way,you pay them $3400 upfront,and than they could pick any12 dates for you,and if you end up declining all of them, then you are paying $3400 and not going out on a single date.that's what they would never tell you on the initial interview

IJL are friendly, give good advice, and you're not going to waste time with crypto scammers (who knew that would be a problem with internet dating?). You will only be matched with other members who have signed up and paid the (pretty hefty) fee. So if there aren't many members in your region, it becomes a waiting game. The reason for the mediocre score is if you don't find the service to be working for you, they don't let you cancel. This is somewhat frustrating.

I signed up for this service because I was so tired of feeling like I had a full time job online dating only to be disappointed when I did meet someone. It was exhausting and discouraging. My experience with It's Just Lunch has been the opposite! IJL does all the work for you, finding a match and setting up the date! I have been on 2 great dates and met 2 genuinely nice men. It has been such a breath of fresh air to be able to show up to a date and be pleasantly surprised with the company and conversation. I would recommend this service to anyone who wants to stop the apps and enjoy real connection.

Jaiye is my Executive Matchmaker and he is great! I've just begun working with him, but I can tell he'll be attentive to my dating preferences. His communication process is much better than the efforts I had to take while on Match.com. The one date I've been on so far was really nice and the next date I'm going on tomorrow also looks good. Jaiye is willing to tailor my dating profile so that the dates he or his colleagues find are best suited to me. I'm looking forward to working with Jaiye.

High pressure sales call. IJL contacted me. Started at a price of 10,000.00 dropped to 2,000.00 for 3 mths. When I said I wasn't interested they said " we have a guy we know you are going to love." they told me they had a match that spoke spanish and played multiple instruments. The match did not speak Spanish or play multiple instruments. They knew from a previous use of IJL that would perk my interest. I will never use them again. Impossible to get refund when they lied about the client.

IJL does the hard work for you! They find you a match and set up the when/where you meet. The rest is up to you! It's basically a blind date, except you've seen a picture and know a little about each other. If you want to see them again you exchange contact info. If not, you part ways. It feels so much safer this way! IJL verifies everyone so you know you aren't getting cat-phished. My matchmaker Anita W really takes the time to speak with her clients to learn as much about them so as to better match them. I've enjoyed the dates she's set up for me.
