I used this website to buy a 'last pair' of $$$ boots. When I submitted my payment, the screen froze on the website and asked me to populate the payment fields again. I waited a few minutes because it didn't make sense. No receipt of purchase order came up, no email of order, nothing. So I repaid, thinking the first attempt didn't work.
Only to find about an hour later X 2 receipts for the same pair of boots!
I never authorised two sales of the same pair of boots! And more to the point- how were there two pairs that I bought when they were advertised as 'one pair left'?!
Because there was a back end glitch on Iitalist's end they took a major amount of money from my CC which then put me into overdraft and I had to pay my bank interest on THEIR MISTAKE.
When I emailed the 'customer service' team they told me I had to pay for all the shipping and taxes in order to return the boots and never addressed my questions about paying interest o n my CC. They then stopped answering my emails and a basic request to call me to sort it out.
The way this company dealt with a problem caused by themselves was utterly unprofessional, damaging and criminal. Even after receiving both pair's of bo oits, they were still advertising another pair in exactly the same size as 'last pair's!
In all my experience of online shopping, I have never experienced such blatant disrespect, arrogance and lies from any company.
There is a reason they do not have a phone line, they just choose not to answer your emails until you press criminal charges!
Think 100 times before you use this site, they are dishonest and will ignore you if anything goes wrong.

Service client déplorable. Après avoir acheté un bracelet 350€, je me rends compte m'être trompé de taille. Ayant l'habitude de commander sur internet je ne m'inquiète pas et décide de l'échanger. J'écris alors au service client leur demandant un formulaire de retour. Chose qu'il refuse en me répondant que les bijoux ne sont ni remboursables ni échangeables. J'envoie plusieurs mails et on me réponds toujours avec le même mail automatique. Je demande juste un échange d'un article même pas déballer, du jamais vu. À fuir

I bought two winter jackets on this site totaling almost 1400 DOLLARS. They looked great so I ordered my size. They were both too big so I went back online to return with the intention of having them sent back a size smaller. Come to find out that those two Jackets are costing me about 400 dollars to send back. My refund will be 990 dollars. I buy merchandise on so many different online web portals and it doesn't always work out. Never in my life have I had to pay such a massive amount of money to send something back. Its disgusting and NOT WORTH IT. I wont be buying anything from this site but unless you know exactly what you need and are 100% sure it will work DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE. Truly a rip off.

So I decided to try and that was a great decision ever.
I normally shop on farfetch and now Italist is my go-to.
