I paid for May, June and July for a small glam bag and the company can't even deliver. I never received one item. This is a scam. I have not received one item that I paid for from this company. Do yourself a favor and try a different company because this is a scam.
Missing shipments. No one answers questions about missing shipments or where the shipment is. Terrible customer service. The shipments take 3 weeks at a time or longer.
So the products are small and great if you are looking for smaller items to pack in a carry on or if you're going on a trip and need to pack lightly. It also gives you the chance to try before you buy. The problem I have is not with the products, although I have had some questionably empty items like dry mascara or tubes with only a few drops in them. The issue is trying to cancel. Due to inflation and rising gas costs, I have to cut back on spending, and ipsy was first on my list. For an unknown and uncommunicated reason, they charged me an extra $3 this month without any add-ons. Luckily my card alerted me to this and I was able to remember to cancel them. I attempted to cancel from my phone but there were only 3 options, either 1. Upgrade, 2. Change frequency, 3. Skip a month. I continued to click around looking for a way to cancel but nope. Nothing came up. I even read their help page which directed me to another membership page that still had absolutely no link to cancel. I tried a different browser, went through the same loops to cancel, and still no link! I finally dusted off my computer and logged into my account and the same 3 options appeared. Finally... after almost calling my bank to block them, I see in very small 8 pt font at the bottom of the membership page that says "help me cancel my membership". I swear that this was not there before, and definitely was not there when I tried from my phone. It's like they repeatedly tried to get me to give up on canceling. And if that wasn't enough, the "nevermind" button is a huge bright pink link that resembles a "submit" option, so you might think you're canceling but you're really hitting nevermind, so be careful. You have to read the small light font letters underneath that say "continue to cancel." These people are crooks and their tiny little 0.25 ounce tubes of makeup aren't worth it.
The products are horrible quality with zero pigment. I've been trying to get my subscription cancelled for MONTHS but they make it so incredibly difficult. They keep charging and charging my credit card and it is ridiculous. Then, I try to contact support about it and get this, i have to PAY for their help on this app. PAY for their help! Absurd. I never leave review, but Ipsy is an affection. Do not sign up.
I'm quite certain i fully canceled subscription yet got another package. I'm trying to login now and can't get in. Asking for new password but nothing sent--not in spam or email. DON'T GET SUCKED IN. Go buy your products in person and skip the nightmare online.
I order a glam bag at the beginning of June. It was supposedly shipped on June 18th. The tracking number is a dead end. I called the company they shipped it with and they can't locate the shipment. I have asked 4 times now to cancel my membership and they are giving me the run around. I filed a complaint with the BBB.
I have waiting so long for a bag and shipping said one deliver date and then never came in.
Trying to reach someone at ipsy is a nightmare. Also being new i had no idea when it came to pick my products. Once I realized maybe I did it wrong, I was unable to change it and trying to reach someone on
Instagram or by the the ipsy bot msg didn't work. Not being able to change what I pick when I wasn't sure what i was doing, made finally my first glam plus bag suck. I would not recommend to anyone until the customer service and shipping gets fix. Also not to happy how quick they charge my card and took the money when you cant even reach a live person or able to get a email with a real response.
Great products with affordable prices. With only 28 dollars. Ordering already 3 years from this site.
Ipsy sells a good game. However, the products reveal to be not a game well played. Products are cheap and nothing worth keeping(not high end) customer service is obsolete. They kept trying to charge me when I canceled. Products also take to long to arrive. More than 2 weeks.
I did not receive my ipsy bag in May 2022 so I complained naturally. They resent and I got 3 items u are suppose to get 5 with glam bag plus. Also not even what I picked or they picked. I couldn't even be more pissed. I was suppose to receive a beautiful pallet bright colors and a eye liner a shimmer stick and I also stick, tonner. Missing eyeshadow pallet I picked and the linner! Wtf and I got a crappy bad I already received months ago... and it was tossed in a crappy small envelope. Like I paid 30 f0r that junk, and I always get great items I can use but this takes the straw! Done done done! Bye bye ipsy this pick is the top left the junk I got and I was suppose to receive the flowered bag n items I picked. What a difference ugh
Tried overland over to cancel my membership they keep billing me even though the virtual not says there is no active account for my email but yet just 5 days ago ago. They billed me guess. I need to order a new credit card to get this off my billing
I canceled 2 years ago due to piss poor quality, quantity, and total lack of follow through with customer complaints. I was in formed that the company was overhauled, and everything had improved. Well apparently NOT, I've been billed for 3 bags, and have yet to receive anything. Do yourself a favor ~ stay away from this scam, and inform others to do the same.
Dont go there! Almost six months with no package, charged for the second and didnt receive the first one. I orded in January and now we going june and still nothing. Going back and forth with the worst customer service ever! It is a trap!
It took me 1 month to receive my "Glam Bag" and cost me $20 something CAD! What I receive is a joke. I have attached screenshots of the email they sent me showing what kinda glam I should expect to receive and the picture is what I actually received (you can tell the size comparing to a computer mouse)! Couple of tiny tiny samples they most probably got for free! The biggest one is a shower scrub!
Bad for you guys that wanna make quick money and be out of business as your customers won't trust you no more! Great idea but super scammy and sneaky way to operate and to do business.
When they first started it was a great idea and I loved it. Over time it began to degrade. Now it's really, really bad. The price is too high, products are inferior and the packaging stinks. All the boxes arrived crushed. U have to deal with a bot for customer service it takes almost a month to get the order too. The day of the sub beauty box is definitely dead.
I cancelled my membership, so for the last five months they quit sending the bag, but still charging me. I didn't notice until recently they were still charging me. I have gone around in circles with them to refund me. But nothing has happened. I would love to sue them
Do yourself a favor and do not get mixed up with Ipsy. Their website tricks you into signing up for things you don't want and you don't realize until your credit card is charged. And they make it impossible for you to cancel. I'm trying to do that now for a third time after receiving another overpriced $13 bag of samples that I did not want and cannot use. With each screen, they try to mislead you into cancelling your subscription. I finally got through all of them (carefully reading what they stated) and my phone app told me I cancelled, but my refreshed desktop is still telling me my subscription is active.) I may have to resort to calling the Better Business Bureau or an attorney. Do not sign up. I promise, you'll regret it! (PS -- The photo makes these products look way bigger than they are. They are tiny.)
I literally had to call my bank and put in a theft case to stop getting charged. I tried every way possible to cancel my membership or get ahold of Ipsy. Their products were good, but if you need to cancel for any reason or talk to a human rep…. Good luck.
I started to go through the motions to order but decided not to enroll at this time because of the recession. Everything is expensive! Makeup is the least of my worries. I used PayPal for the transactions and backed out of the deal, I didn't finalize or submit the order.
Well I got an email from PayPal and charged me 92 dollars. One for 30 the other is 55 dollars. Plus shipping on each Order. This was Friday 4/22/22. On Sunday, I went on the Ipsy website sent three emails with no response plus tried calling customer service on a bogus phone number that doesn't work.
I went through PayPal to file a dispute and canceled the ridiculous subscription.
Honestly, for All I know you're paying for something you may not like or be allergic to.
How do you know if it's the real deal and not a knockoff!
I'll go through legit stores and use discounts. At least if there's a problem I can take it back.
Good grief! This has been a big headache.
Ive been with ipsy for almost 2 years. At first it was a hit or miss but as time has went on they hook my bags up! I absolutely recommend ipsy. I love it. And now evry quarter i get to upgrade for the glamx and its totally worth it. For any age female try ipsy tge linger your with them the better your bags get. I even every so often retake the beauty quiz just to play around with what kind or type of products ill receive.

Answer: OK well it depends where you live because here in Canada it is $20ish dollars but if you live in the U.S. A then ya it's worth it. The products are really high quality and I havent had any bad products yet. But for me to live in Canada and pay almost $20 dollars, it's kind of pricey. So it really depends on you, where you live and your preferences. Hope this helped

Answer: Rosi, I have been a subscriber for several months. They send samples of many different brands but not Lime Crime. Here are some of the brands: City Color, trestique, NYX, Luxie brushes, Pacifica, star looks, Bella Pierre, Dermelect, be a bombshell, dls, hey honey, Marc Anthony, Eva nyc, MOR hand creme, Clarks botanicals, Avance, epice, belif creme, REN creme, and peek, and Trust Fund. During the ten months I have been a subscriber, I have only received a handful of high end makeup samples: the Balm, tarte, and smashbox. Some people love ipsy, but my experience has shown me that a lot of times they send me products that I don't like or ones that don't match my "beauty profile". So I will probably cancel soon. The products are not counterfeit, though. If I were you, I would not subscribe to ipsy. Hope that helps! -Heather
