I got a PMD facial cleanser in my Glam Ipsy bag. I had been given a similar product and decided to sell it, new and unused in the box on ebay. A brand protection company they use to look for knock offs called "Red Points" flags the listing as a "fake". It came in thru my Ipsy Glam box. This is troubling and I was very annoyed. I will not renew my Ipsy box again. Just where would we get a fake aka knockoff product like this. Site unseen tthey say it's a fake, ok I guess Ipsy is buying thru the wrong sources. I lost interest in Ipsy when the products became so small so I upgraded to the nicer Glam box with larger products and this is what you get, no thanks. It is time to say good bye to Ipsy. The customer service is terrible when you have broken items and the bags/products are just getting smaller. It's better to buy the items you like on ebay and avoid the tiny junk they stick in the bag. Some products are so small you can not use them more than once. There are many more options out there now. Ipsy should go back to be more like they were 4 years ago. Having a brand protection company flag a product I recieved in a Glam box as a fake was the last straw for me. Ispy doesn't care
My first bag was shipped on March 22nd. It's April 15th and still no delivery. It's been sitting in one place since April 1st. And today I received a notification my April bag was shipped. Absolutely ridiculous. Which one will I get first? I guess we'll find out- it'll be my first and last that's for sure.
Generally disappointed with the lack of putting people above profits. When you make it frustrating to cancel, and impossible to correct a mistake made by the company (I. E. refreshments never arriving for the introductory promotion, then getting charged for them anyway), but you offer to cancel the bags in the same sentence past the deadline?
Doesn't seem consistent at all. The customer service is condescending and not helpful, leaving on "policy" statements out of convenience instead of going the extra mile to fix a mistake which belongs to the company and not the consumer.
It is for this reason alone I'm cancelling. I could've stayed if it weren't for blatant disrespect of customer concerns and not honoring my request to cancel an order that hasn't shipped yet that I never wanted in the first place, that I was roped in with "free" that never arrived! It's not about the $15.
Save yourself the hassle. Buy your own cosmetics.
I received an email for a glam bag plus for $13. However, upon check out, saw that it was only a glam bag. Instead of the 7 full sized items, it was 5 sample items. I contacted customer care via email (there is no phone number) and was told that they are aware of the mistake in the email. However, they would not honor it. Instead, they offered 600 points which is only enough to choose between 4 crappy samples. I told them I wanted to cancel repeated for 4 days and never got a response. Then, I got an email from IPSY saying they put an item in my bag that doesn't match my shade on my beauty profile and offered 600 more points. Redeemed the points. Then, I finally heard back from customer care just for them to tell me if I cancel for April then I forfeit the items I used the points for! Such a shame. Also, my "March bag" won't get here until the first week of April. Just horrible. I would absolutely not recommend.
I started receiving and being billed for "refreshments" that I didn't sign up for. I tried to cancel but am still being billed and sent merchandise. Don't sign up for this unless you are ready to change your debit card when they won't stop billing you.
I love being an Ipsy subscriber because of the deals on products you get shopping through them whether it's their add ons or the Ipsy store and it's so nice getting a little monthly surprise every month. However, I have noticed a falter in their services. For one, it takes incredibly long for my bag to arrive because they ship with DHL. Recently, it's been taking up to 2 weeks for it to get to me and watching it sit in one state for a whole week isn't exactly a joyful experience for me. Secondly, when they're out of stock of their add ons, they won't tell you unless you speak to a customer service rep yourself. In the last month I have ordered add ons and been charged for them only for them to not show up and then when I speak to a rep it's always the same sorry excuse of "we're so sorry this happened to you, unfortunately, we cannot replace the item(s) because we're sold out" and then go on and on about how your membership is important to them and how they're "trying to prevent hiccups like this from happening again" only for them to happen again. One time, one of my add ons was being processed for 4 WEEKS and when I asked a customer service rep about it, they didn't even apologize or tell me why I never received my item, just issues 600 points to my account to redeem for a product that I probably won't ever get lmao. A friend of mine is also an Ipsy member and has basically never received any of her add ons. I'm starting to question whether or not my $13 a month is even worth all of this.
I've been waiting for over a month for my (first) February glam bag to Canada. It is already March 6th and I haven't received Febs yet, but they have already taken out March's payment for the March glam bag. I see what's in the glam bag, and it is the things I did not want and asked not to get. Nothing takes over a month to get from USA to Canada, so it's obvious that this is sent from over seas first, since when tracking my package it says it has only been in transit from the USA for 6 days DHL is an awful courier service. I am canceling my subscription to Ipsy because it takes less time for me to get FREE samples from the actual companies that I want to try, than to pay to wait for this. This is NOT worth the wait for a few samples of products I didnt even want, and that are free everywhere else (samples are free, hence being called a sample)
Ipsy is charging my card for products I never got and won't refund my money back. I have told my friends and 5 have cancelled so far.
Ipsy is by far the worst company! They take your money and don't send your product! The only reason I gave them 1 star is because I had to to write a review. I am not one to ever write reviews so by me writing this review must mean that I'm extremely pissed off at the company! Trust me don't sign up! It's a night mare to cancel!
Got billed on Feb. 10, and received nothing by Feb. 28. Now, they billed me again on Feb. 28 for a March bag.
I reached out to IPSY with the details and they ignored that I was talking about the Feb 10th charged, and just said that my March bag was on the way. After 40$ wasted - never again and highly decommend.
I'm in my 3rd month of an Ipsy subscription. The first month I received both the Glam Bag and Glam Bag Plus. I was extremely pleased with the variety and quality of all the products that I received, although I canceled the regular Glam Bag subscription because I feel that the more expensive options are worth it in the long run since you get full size products. Last month I received the Glam Bag X. I was thrilled with all the products that I received and I loved being able to pick more than half of the items myself. I'm really looking forward to receiving this month's Glam Bag Plus (March 2022) because I love what I was able to add on in addition to the Bag. The only criticism I have of the experience is that the shipping sucks! It takes too long and the notifications are non-existent. At some point I may just back off to getting the Glam Bag X quarterly. But I'm still building up my beauty stash so I'm keeping both for now. I'm a very happy customer!
I let my daughter use my debit card to get a membership in January glam bag x and glam bag plus then in February glam bag x again but the price increased 12 bucks, also glam bag plus and 18.00 for ipsy marketplace, wtf is that. 108.00 charged for February took a damn month to get them and doesn't use half of it.
Ipsy still takes double money every month since december after cancellation of membership. I haven't received any bags and they make it impossible to contact them to stop this. PATHETIC company,, SCAM!
Did not like at all, didn't recognize any brand. Probably worth what you pay. Cancelled subscription.
DO NOT ORDER FROM IPSY! I would definitely not recommend ordering from IPSY. Their products are subpar, and when I try to cancel my membership, the site will not take me to my account, but rather keeps prompting me to click on ways they can charge me more. The IPSY site makes it extremely difficult to cancel or change your membership, but will definitely lock that credit card in so they can continue to charge and charge and charge. BEWARE OF IPSY!
I was with the company for several years. I started with my glam bag, and when each of the new subscriptions came out, I added them in. I didn't have a problem with them or their service until after the Pandemic. I noticed all of a sudden, not only was I getting things not in my profile, but they were PRIMARILY items not in my profile. I would get one, maybe two, items I could actually use. I tried to bring this to their attention, and instead of checking with tech to see if there was an actual error, I was disregarded, with it being blamed on my reviews, and that profiles are not guaranteed. Before this, I had NEVER had a problem with getting items that fit my profile.
After two emails trying to discuss it and being blown off I gave up. Then my glam bag x subscription came up and I picked my picks on the 3rd. When I got my box, NONE of my picks were inside. I immediately reached out to customer service to try to resolve the issue, and was again brushed off, and told I didn't submit my picks and they could only be submitted in a certain timeframe, completely disregarding the fact that I had told them I selected my picks on the 3rd. They blamed the issue on the app and suggested that next time I use their website. That's it. That's all. They blamed it on user error or app problems, but made no attempt to take accountability or try to MAKE IT RIGHT. In fact, rather than HELP me address the issue, they preferred my cancelling all three subscriptions to fixing a problem with 1 months bag. It says a lot about their company and lack of customer service. I'd much rather go to a company who actually appreciates me. So sad considering Ipsy is owned by an influencer.
Top options r all n selection 1, great if want 2 try new brands & products & *missing items monthly!
I just received my 1st glam bag. It will be my last. Sample sizes are not big enough for single use. I canceled my subscription. Canceling was a little confusing.
I canceled my membership in December. And they said they deleted all my billing info as u can see in the pics. Then they started double billing me
I had cancelled my membership months ago. Had only had the trial delivered. Now 4 months later i was charged 2 14 dollar charges for multiple things. They dont offer refunds even though it hasnt been shipped. Terrible terrible company. Im beyond upset because they overdrafted my account by almost 30 dollars that i dont have.

Answer: OK well it depends where you live because here in Canada it is $20ish dollars but if you live in the U.S. A then ya it's worth it. The products are really high quality and I havent had any bad products yet. But for me to live in Canada and pay almost $20 dollars, it's kind of pricey. So it really depends on you, where you live and your preferences. Hope this helped
Answer: We offer email support (help.ipsy.com), but if you'd prefer to call, you can leave a voicemail at (888) 769-4526 and a representative will call you back as soon as possible!

Answer: Rosi, I have been a subscriber for several months. They send samples of many different brands but not Lime Crime. Here are some of the brands: City Color, trestique, NYX, Luxie brushes, Pacifica, star looks, Bella Pierre, Dermelect, be a bombshell, dls, hey honey, Marc Anthony, Eva nyc, MOR hand creme, Clarks botanicals, Avance, epice, belif creme, REN creme, and peek, and Trust Fund. During the ten months I have been a subscriber, I have only received a handful of high end makeup samples: the Balm, tarte, and smashbox. Some people love ipsy, but my experience has shown me that a lot of times they send me products that I don't like or ones that don't match my "beauty profile". So I will probably cancel soon. The products are not counterfeit, though. If I were you, I would not subscribe to ipsy. Hope that helps! -Heather
