I usually wear the bare minimum of makeup. I was excited because my Ipsy pic that month was a eyeshadow palette. I did not own an eyeshadow palette and this one was beautiful. When I got it it was shattered. I complained to Ipsy and all they kept sending me was a four pack of ugly Brown eyeshadow to replace it. Finally I got fed up and wrote two complaints one on top of the other. Then they informed me they no longer carried it. And the best they could do was a four pack of ugly Brown eyeshadow. So I canceled my subscription after 3 years and started a subscription with Birchbox. Not to mention now they're charging you to fill your orders. So you're basically paying them to do their job.
DO NOT use this service! I absolutely loved it when it started. It was $10/mo, and I received my amazing and fun monthly bags just fine. When Covid hit, I cancelled. I began my service again three months ago, and it's been a nightmare. I don't know if they changed ownership? I never received my first bag although it was charged to my account per my bank($13.00) mind you, no longer $10. Okay, whatever... I called about it. I got a "Glam Bot" that said my payment was declined and they don't do refunds. Again, okay... I figured I would just eat the $16.00(plus taxes) I got my "second" bag. Not only did it not reflect my profile requests, but it was less impressive than what I could have purchased in
a grocery store Travel Size isle. I filed a complaint. The next month... I received THE EXACT SAME BAG! I cancelled my subscription, requested a replacement bag and guess what? The "Bot" could not assist me because I no longer had an account. I am exploring other online options that actually offer great products, and more importantly, actual customer service. Ultimately, I was charged $48 for the ONE good product I received two months in a row, and it's a lip gloss about the size of my thumb.
I paid for 2 bags. I received 1 bag but not the other. I have tried for almost a month to email and contact someone but u get no where. I either want my money put back on my card or I want my bag. It's simple. When I sent emails they just kept kicking me out of my account. Haha. Horrible customer service
Years ago I signed up for Ipsy and loved it, left it for budget reasons. I resigned up recently and am very disappointed. I have a random fee charged and 2 full amounts charged and NOTHING had arrived. And all there is to ask is a bot that is useless! Canceling asap!
So I initially signed up to receive a Glam bag every month, only to find morsels of garbage (a runny hand cream, a pack of greasy face wipes, and tiny tubes of face masks and facial creams that didn't cover my face because of how small they were).
I canceled my membership only to be charged again. So I went on the website to try to speak to someone to get my money back only to be met with a half wit bot that is designed to run someone around in a circle by repeatedly asking for the customers email then sending a verification code then saying the code isn't correct and repeating the process all over again until a customer is left trying to throw their phone out the window. There is no number to call and no agent to get in touch with through the chat so I looked up their customer service number on Google only to find that the number is no longer active. This company is a scam they are a hassle and everyone who has had a bad experience with them needs to shout it from every media platform on the whole wide web ie Facebook Instagram Snapchat Myspace YouTube Twitter etc.
The only way I am going to get my money back is by going directly to my bank and having them stop the charges and have to file a whole claim which will take weeks and they took money from my account when I need my money the most these pieces of sh&- deserve to be in prison for theft on a grand scale!
I've been an Ipsy customer for close to a year at first I started with the glam bag I wasn't getting all my products they did not send me the products that were supposed to be in the bag instead told me they didn't have them products so they can give me a partial refund every time I buy add-ons I never receive I recently upgraded to Glam Bag Plus I received two bags so far both had missing items I just received my bag today empty I was supposed to have nine items I received four items out of the bag I received two of the Glam Bag products out of five your promised and two add-ons out of four I am not letting this go one item is a mistake five items I'm being targeted now as how I feel fourth time in a row I am missing more than one or two items. I want my products! Over this BULL$#*! it won't let me upload my pictures so I'll make a new post
I have been trying to cancel this subscription for a long time. The Company has no phone call customer service. The e-mail address I used to open the account is an old work e-mail I no longer have access to so I can't retrieve my password. My credit card company gave me a phone number for them which is "no longer in service". I moved out of state last December and have not received the product since. I'm still getting monthly recurring charges. I would advise anyone not to do business with this company.
I only wanted a trial. I cancelled right away in July and my credit card is still getting charged! I'm unemployed and dealing with serious health issues! My credit card usage is 90%! I'm paying medical bills and they keep charging me. No humans to talk. The robot is terrible. I hope she gets fried!
I cancelled the annual membership 3 months prior to the renewal date. They still charged my account $165 causing a lot of issues. They only have a bot to try to get through to them. Since I pay through PayPal, I will be disputing through them. This is ridiculous!
I signed up to get a free glam bag. Was charged for it. As I was signing up The site closed so I figured it didn't go through. Never got a email confirmation. Got charged for the free bag and bags after that. Tried to cancel. You can only cancel with an email. I never got a confirmation email. Trying to cancel they said they do not recognize my email. 1 800 number is not in service. The bot asked me to send my credit card information. They make it impossible to cancel. I had to go to the bank and pay to get a stop payment. The products are low quality dollar store Items.
Was given wrong bag. I got to keep the old one, and get new one with the product, I supposed to get.
It feels like they are just being random. Items are not tailored and don't come on time. Orders are wrong, don't arrive, not replied to. Just sketchy... I liked the razors but even that was screwed up because instead of the razors I paid for they sent me wipes... Just too distinctional for me.
I was charged and never recieved my first and only bag so I canceled. I tried reaching out to them on multiple platforms and they gave me a fake email over IG to reply to. Completely bogus and un professional. Do not give these people your money.
Unprofessional. I have canceled my ipsy subscription. I canceled the subscription two months ago. My bank account is still being charged, you can't get anyone to call you they want to do everything by email. They don't even respond to emails. Stay away from this company. Did not even want to give this company one star but the site won't let you move forward without rating it with a star.
For the most part I'm satisfied with Ipsy. I get the Glambag Plus so that I can choose 3 full size products. My July bag was missing an expensive Dr Brandt eye cream. I contacted ipsy and was told it would be shipped within 15 days. Perfect, well not so perfect. Two weeks later I receive a cheap makeup brush that I don't like, need or want. Once again I contacted customer service and said I wanted the original product I selected or a reasonable substitute. I get a message with saying the product was out of stock, which it isn't, as I see it offered as an optional purchase, and they offer me 600 points. All that would get me is a sample size product from a pathetically small selection. It's insulting. Maybe it's time to switch to one of the other subscription services, such as Birchbox.
I used to love Ipsy in college because it was a great inexpensive way to try new makeup products. I cancelled after about 10 months because I had accumulated so many products I just needed to get through. I then resign up for the glam bag X back in July of this year, & they sent my bag to my old college apartment even after I put in the correct delivery address when I resigned up.
So of course I reach out to customer support, & they actually blamed it on me because I didn't change my address on the first of July (it's a policy apparently) even though I placed the order July 12th, & how would I even know on July 1st "hmm I may try Ipsy again this month! Better change my delivery address with them because I've moved since I've ordered from them!" Sorry no, Ipsy is the LAST thing on my mind when it comes to updating delivery addresses when I move especially when I'm not actively using it. But to no worry! Because they made an exception for me to actually get the bag to the correct address. How kind <3. I then bring that to the customer service rep's attention because that's an absolutely idiotic policy if I ever heard one. The customer service rep then says that they ALWAYS redeliver whenever a bag is missing which is contradicting what they first told me. So not only do they lie, they also can't cancel memberships when you tell them to the first time. I cancelled the glam bag X subscription obviously because I'm not buying from a company that lies. Yeah, they just changed my subscription to the regular glam bag & charged me. At this point I literally do not care that they charged me as long as I get the product I'm happy. Do not just cancel a membership with this company, contact customer service to remove all billing information because cancelling means nothing to them.
The first mess up they fixed. The second mess up they couldn't fix because they didn't have my color. The third mess up they have gone silent. Three different times with different results each time customer service goes down hill. I am frustrated I bought a product and they either refuse or just wont give it to me. I am cancelling completely and taking my family and friends with me.
Cancellation emails go to spam box, which they have to be opened and link clicked to finalize cancellation. Each cancellation page tries to trap you into accidentally signing up for something else or staying subscribed (it's like 3 pages). Customer service IS A JOKE. It's a bot that helps with nothing. I cancelled before but instead they PAUSED my membership supposedly and reactivated it 3 months later and of course, the email letting me know went to spam. Even though every other email (minus cancellation) went to my inbox. The product is crap and tiny. WORTHLESS. Free samples that they're charging you for.
Honestly when they first came out with ipsy i ordered, loved it. Great products. Now all I get is broken cheap junk. And the worst part is, there's no one to call or have replaced. There's no such thing. So today was my last broken item i'm done with Ipsy & Boxy charm.
IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO, I WOULD! I ordered the products months ago and haven't received anything. I canceled my membership and they still are taking money from my account! I had to involve my bank to get my money back after attempting to communicate with the corporate office which was almost impossible to find. They have no phone number listed so they try to make it very difficult when you have a problem. I am going to report this company to the Better Business Bureau for fraud and all I can say is BEWARE...

Answer: OK well it depends where you live because here in Canada it is $20ish dollars but if you live in the U.S. A then ya it's worth it. The products are really high quality and I havent had any bad products yet. But for me to live in Canada and pay almost $20 dollars, it's kind of pricey. So it really depends on you, where you live and your preferences. Hope this helped

Answer: Rosi, I have been a subscriber for several months. They send samples of many different brands but not Lime Crime. Here are some of the brands: City Color, trestique, NYX, Luxie brushes, Pacifica, star looks, Bella Pierre, Dermelect, be a bombshell, dls, hey honey, Marc Anthony, Eva nyc, MOR hand creme, Clarks botanicals, Avance, epice, belif creme, REN creme, and peek, and Trust Fund. During the ten months I have been a subscriber, I have only received a handful of high end makeup samples: the Balm, tarte, and smashbox. Some people love ipsy, but my experience has shown me that a lot of times they send me products that I don't like or ones that don't match my "beauty profile". So I will probably cancel soon. The products are not counterfeit, though. If I were you, I would not subscribe to ipsy. Hope that helps! -Heather
