There customer service is the worst I have dealt with. I had to call them to find out where my stuff was after the allotted time for shipment. Come to find out there "SPIECAL TEAM" was supposed to call me about the prodocal on what was coming and what to look for and how to check everything and send an email, ( no email). So after getting a refund on some things my stuff started showing up after I had to call them. Now for the pool. I also had to call them because they refunded our pool without an email, or phone call saying the vendor canceled the order. So once again I had to call them and ask why they refunded the pool and the answer I got was I don't know. Are you serious! I am at ah right now. I have never dealt with such stupidity and not knowing what was going on in my life with any company.

I purchased solar cover (round 28') i received rectangle cover -wrong!. I called up and they said they were shipping new one - they sent me return shipping label. The next day i sent it out to fedex. I was waiting for two weeks no cover -so i purchased from different vendor. I called up to cancel my order - told them to credit my account. I purchased new cover from another vendor. 1 week later the original solar cover arrived at my front door. I called up again told them i cancelled this order send me return shipping label -they said we will be crediting your account. 10 days goes by and still not credited. I called up today and they said they credited my account yesterday and i will see it on my statement 7 days? Awful company

Please, stay away from this place. Dishonest and unprofessional... do not spend your money here ever, they will take it, with no product ever intending to be sent. Uneducated customer service, don't even bother. It's a call center in Chicago, you will never speak to anyone, and if you do it will be the most unprofessional treatment you will ever receive. Unacceptable and should be out of business. Call your bank and have them assist you in getting your money back, it's your only hope. Read BBB reviews before you do anything! Reviews on their site are screened and only fake positive reviews are posted. Read the real people reviews, BBB is just one place to start. Please beware...

It's dishonest. Charge for shipping if you want but say so. Don't say shipping is free but call it a handling fee instead.

So purchased a skimmer basket which was to be a replacement. Upon receiving the basket and placing it in skimmer, it was too small & tabs did not fit skimmer vacuum plate. Pictures were sent numerous times with explainations. All I got was their return policy which unfortunately could now not be applied due to their wording..

I purchased a pool cleaner from this business and received it on 06/05/2020, I didnt like the way it performed so I called about returning it. The CSR stated it couldnt be returned. Never order anything else from this business

I placed my first order with In The Swim for 3 items. All 3 claimed to be in stock and delivery in 1 day. They all had the same tracking number but only one item appears. I call a couple days later and here another item shipped and the last items will ship in another day or two. Would have been nice to receive an email notification and how can they all have the same tracking number?. I guess I won't be ordering from them again!

06/03/19 I placed an order for over $1,200 worth of items. Most of the items stated 1 Day Delivery. I wrote on my order that I needed the pumps 1 Day Delivery as the pumps stated. 06/04/19 I had no tracking numbers for the pumps so I called them. Sorry, they have no idea why it didn't ship. I requested to cancel the order but they said since some items had shipped they wouldn't cancel the order. 06/05/19. I checked tracking and no items shipped on 06/04/19 until after I called them. I again tried working with customer service but they refused to cancel the order. 06/06/19 I still haven't received my order. I sent emails to customer service on 06/04/19 and 06/05/19 and still nothing has been answered. Never do business with this company. Customer service is horrible. They lie and their advertising of one day delivery is FALSE

In 2014 they replaced our solar cover under warranty for the same reasons the replacement was turned down for. The thicker solar cover comes with a 7 year warranty that now ONLY covers the seams. So when you're losing a hundred little blue dots a day, they blame it on your pool chemistry. How convenient since they don't live locally for you to even take a sample over to prove them wrong.

You know they're selling junk when they advertise on their site it takes 10 to 12 days for a warranty person to get back in touch with you. Then they want pictures so there's another 2 weeks until you hear back from them... so I called them instead... and was turned down on this warranty after 2 seasons of use... less than 12 month use on a 7 year warranty. Shame on them... we are done!

One day delivery

I was trying to place an order for an item that was advertised as "One day delivery". When I tried to place the order, I was told it could not be shipped one day delivery. Not satisfied, I spoke to another customer rep the following day who initially said, one day was available. After giving all information for the order she then said one day was not available.

Their magazine clearly states on the front "One day delivery" in bold letters for the product. It also states "one day delivery" on another page specific to the product. No where on these pages is there a clause "not guaranteed"

THEY SPEND ANOTHER 1/4 page with big bold letters "FREE ONE DAY DELIVERY". No where on that page does it say "not guaranteed".

Even on the internet, the page on" 1 day delivery" does not say not guaranteed

Only on an entirely different page in small letters is there a clause that says one day not guaranteed.

I was told the very common item was only available in one warehouse. They have 9 warehouses across the country.

So not only is the level of stock inadequate but the ONE DAY DELIVERY policy is quite ambiguous with many exceptions

Skim-It

I bought two of the Skim-It's for my in-ground pool. They do not work. Very little debris goes into the skimmer. Some stays around the Skim-It and most gets directed back out to your pool. I asked for a return label so I would not have to pay another $9 something for shipping. They would not do it, even though the product does not do what it states it should do. I let them know I will not buy from them again. If I sent it back, I would be out $20. I paid $43.98, so I would loose $20. I say if it is advertised to do something and does not, the company should honor all your money back. It should be false advertising. I have to take my own advise, and stop trying all these stupid gimmicks these companies get rich from. Most things we don't need and most don't work as they state. In the swim is a poor company to do business with in my opinion.
