Had many old video's all sizes that my mom had taken of every vacation, birthday parties and everyday occurrences.
She passed away 5 months ago and we are now enjoying the videos she took. They are so much fun to watch. My only regret is that I didn't know of this service when she was alive because she would have loved watching her videos she took. My entire family is able to go online and watch them now. Imemories did a great job with the tapes I sent and will be sending more. I highly recommend their service.

I sent several pieces of 8MM tape to be digitized and was charged the price for a 50' roll of 8MM tape. I chose 6 of the pieces out of the several I sent. They were digitized and some of them were 8 seconds long and some were 12 to 15 seconds long. It just showed me that this particular way of digitizing my pieces of 8mm film is not the right choice. I will be getting my own equipment to do this because I can't see paying for 50' and getting a 12 to 15 second digitized movie. The quality of the digitizing was good and the service is exceptionally good. The people I dealt with were very helpful and friendly. I just have something to digitized that they can't deal with.

IMemories provides amazing service and support. From the get-go, they exceeded my expectations. Initially I had a lot of questions and concerns. Their phone reps patiently and clearly explained the process and addressed all my issues. Everything happened exactly as promised and on time. My family and I are now sharing our converted VHS tapes of our home movies, some of which my kids have never seen. Thanks iMemories for a great experience!

I used iMemories about 5 years ago to create a custom DVD for my sons birthday from our old VHS tapes. The site worked well at that time and it was easy to create custom DVD's and I was very happy with the product. Fast forward to now and I am making a DVD for my daughters upcoming 30th birthday and it has been nothing but a nightmare. They now have 2 versions of their website you can use and I first tried the new version but quickly realized it was much more difficult and couldn't get it to work properly. I would load a clip up and try to cut and paste but a different clip would populate the screen so you couldn't tell what you were working on. They changed the whole way their website works and it's just clunky and a total pain. I then tried their older website version and while it was a little better, they still got rid of a lot of useful features for editing. I spent HOURS making a DVD and meticulously went over it before ordering it. It arrived last week and was AWFUL. The cover that they created was a bunch of blurry repeat images, completely different than the slick one I had received for my sons years earlier. When I enquired why they would send something so bad, they said they are computer generated and there was nothing they could do... Why wouldn't someone quality check it and make a new one? The video itself had missing clips and several duplicate clips! It was useless. I just now went in and made a WHOLE NEW DVD. I watched and re-watched the video numerous times before adding it to my cart. I am praying this one will turn out. When I reached out to customer service and told them what happened, I was hoping/expecting for them to realize how unhappy I was and at least cover the shipping or offer something for all my extra time and waste of money having to buy a whole other DVD... The response I got was complete lack of empathy and it was clear they just don't care about the customer. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING iMEMORIES! Find another site that has better customer service, especially if you want to make custom DVD's!
