One of the tapes I sent was not able to be digitized and no one told me. They just sent it back. If I di d not call I would not have even gotten a refund.

I sent movies that were in a format I couldn't watch at home. That way I wasn't losing anything if this all went wrong. I was pleasantly surprised. I love the movies. So happy to have them. Will be sending more!

I stumbled upon imemories in searching for a method of transferring old VHS tapes to a digital format. Their website offered an easy explanation of how to send my tapes to them (with my own shipping bos OR with theirs). I sent my tapes in and had a notification when the tapes arrived and notification within 2 weeks that my digital images were available for viewing. Imemories also offers several methods for downloading or maintaining the files on the icloud for a reasonable price. I now have quick access and viewing of my most cherished memories and have the ability to share them as well. Great job, Imemories!

I had 17 Super 8 movie reels that had belonged to my grandparents and had been lost in my parent's attic for over 20 years. My step-mom found them right before my birthday and I was very excited to see these films. I found iMemories through an Instagram ad and decided to send them off for digitizing. Easy process from start to finish. They sent me a box to send them in with a pre-paid label. Two weeks later, all my memories were online except for one. One of the reels had been marked years ago by my grandfather as 'needs service.' It took a few extra days but iMemories was able to get that reel working and posted online. Great stuff. Christmas 1974. I had never seen that movie before and my family loved it. Oh! Have to mention price! Very happy with the pricing, very reasonable given the speed and convenience. Thanks iMemories!

VHS tapes were old and any revival was appreciated although blurry/ choppy to view.
Costs aren't clear when ordering. You pay $12.99 per tape digitalized regardless of results, then are asked to Pay $6.99 a month to keep digitalized or more $$ for other options.
Hi Jane, It's not required to subscribe to keep your media. You can download the videos to your computer to keep them. The download is included in the conversion price. The subscription is only required if you would like us to store your media long term. The cost is 5.99 a month or 49.99 for a year. Please call us here with any questions you have or if you need help.
Service to complete the order was fast and it was fun to have a few new videos every day pop up to watch and share with my family. Quality was a little under what I expected as they do advertise they "fix" things... volume was very low on one video and there was choppiness of the film in a couple others.

The concierge service was unexpected. I purchased both an imemory and a legacy box. While I liked the barcoding stickers that I placed on my items from legacy, it was the personal concierge point of contact with iMemories that made a bigger difference. I always had someone dedicated to my videos that I could email. I had zero difficulty with imemory and will finish my set with them.
