I've had iMemories do a couple of digitizing jobs for me. They keep in great communication --from start to finish. They let you know they've received your items... how long it will take... what to expect... follow up... and return your original items back to you. Great company! So glad they do this. Very expensive. I have no way of knowing if in fact everything was copied. Because of the quality of some of the tapes (from storage) I would have not spent the money to get those tapes converted.

Great having these videos digitized. Will be sending a couple more tapes in. Only problem I noticed was on a VHS conversion, where the original music started, then disappeared after the tracking seemed to get off. You had already sent the original back to me, so I may resend it to have you look at it. One other 16mm tape had a similar problem. Otherwise great and a joy to see them again after so many years.

My videos were cut into two or three segments, many times in the middle of a song my friend was singing or in the middle of a sentence in the middle of a story! I had the same issue the first time I used this service for digitizing, many videos had to be re-done, but they re-did the recordings until I was satisfied. This time, my tapes were returned immediately before I had a chance to review them for mistakes like this. I complained that I wished they didn't have to be divided into separate clips at all. I was told that if requested, they would save as a single chapter. They're very helpful when presented with issues.

The instructions for what is available after the 30day trial are confusing. Will I loose all my videos after the trial period even if I download them? Clearer information would be much appreciated.
Otherwise, I was really pleased with the way the films turned out since they were so old.

I bought their prepaid shipping box to send my VHS tapes out for digitizing. Three out of the four tapes I sent could not be converted (they said due to mold but I've since researched other companies that claim to be able to overcome this). Then they charged me again for shipping the things they couldn't convert back to me. The one VHS that was converted was easy to download from their site, so this could be a good option for you - just make sure you factor in all the shipping costs.

The quality is great so is the turnaround time! I'm going to send my collection of old slides next. It so much fun to just click on the app and immediately pull up memories

I don't understand what and how I'm supposed to edit my videos. Plus I haven't had time to fool with it and I cannot get any help from my family. Other than that everything has been great.
