Only 2 of my 3 8mm tapes were converted to digital format. Rep told me there was some reason it could not be read, and iMemories does not try to fix the tapes, they just send them back.
Also, I am having some trouble with the downloads of my videos, so I need to call iMemories for some technical assistance.

There was issues with the ribbon sticking and we didn't want to go any further with it and ruin it. We do repairs but there are times we cannot make it work. I am glad you were refunded for you tape. The customer service techs are wonderful. They patiently guided me, a non-techie elder, through the whole process several times. Everything their advertisement says is true.
When I signed up to send 10 old DVDs to iMemories, it sounded so simple and straight forward. In the end of this session, customer care service saved the day. Up until then, contacts at the main number did not offer a solution for my confusion and inability to download the DVDs from the sight. Customer service righted the ship by sending a stick with my material on it. I have spent maybe 20 hours and have not completed the project, yet.

The tapes have been following me for the past 20 years without real ability to view and no ability to share - this was the best money spent and will be great holiday gifts to all my family

The only issue is that the tape made 30 years ago are not of the quality of today's videos. But it is so nice to know that those memories aren't lost.

Finally decided to gather up all my old videos and get them converted. Glad I decided on iMemories. They were done quickly and my memories were safely returned.

I was hesitant to send original copies of my videos off to this company, or anywhere for that matter... but I needed to transfer everything to digital before I started losing quality in our home movies.
