A well organized company. It makes converting your old format movies easy. I had questions which were answered in a timely manner via email. I will use this company again! So happy to be able to view my home movies again!
I put off transferring home movies from VHS to digital for too long because I thought it would be a big undertaking. I was so wrong! Here's how it goes:
1)Order a prepaid shipping box from iMemories.
2)While you wait gather all your home movies.
3)Put movies in said box then drop off at FedEx.
4)In a few weeks you receive notification that your order is ready. Pay for your order. Watch your movies online.
That's how easy it was! You don't have to try and put them in number order or organize them in any way. You can edit and name once they are transferred.
Just get it done so they don't deteriorate any further.
Now I am viewing and saving them to multiple flash drives so they are safe. I can watch them on my computer or TV.
Very Important! If you don't save your online videos elsewhere you will have to pay for online storage. If you don't you will lose your videos.
Oh, and they notify you that they are returning your originals. Tracking email states they will be here in a few days.
I am very happy with my experience as it was so simple, timely, and professional. It was a reasonable price considering the time they spent on my project and the great outcome. No complaints, just a happy customer who now has easy access to my home movie memories. This would make a great gift!
I am so beyond happy with my order. I sent off tons of camcorder tapes, many from the early 90's and many from mine and my siblings childhood growing up from when my mom would record us all the time. They came back perfect. The picture on them were amazing and it brought back so many wonderful memories. I recommend imemories to anyone looking for the same experience. You won't be disappointed!
I'm very happy with imemories. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is the fact that a few of my videos jump around from one video to the next and doesn't show the full video before moving on. Not sure what happened there with those. Also I didn't get an email or notification saying that a video or picture was uploaded. I had to go to the app to see if I had a video ready to upload. So I was waiting forever for a video when it was already loaded on the app but I wasn't notified of it. Other than that I'm pretty happy with all my videos and pictures.
I am NEW to imemories and at the moment I am still reviewing my videos, therefore the reason for 3 stars.

Am very pleased with final result and have been able to download all videos onto my PC and made copies on USB's for my children. A great investment. Although I have not received my originals back as of yet, am otherwise thrilled

I'm not sure whether it was because my content was so old or if something was wrong with the coversion but some of the video content was cropped and I couldn't see what I knew was captured. Other than that, it was worth the money.
I sent in 35 pieces of video tape media. Many of them were beyond saving and very low quality. Many of them had very little on them. I feel the cost should have been reduced because of this. If I needed to review each tape prior to sending I could have transferred them myself.
How easy it was to get our treasured memories converted to a digital format! We have enjoyed looking at them as a family. Thank you imemories!
I had put off digitizing our compact VHS tapes for quite some time before selecting iMemories. I had a great experience with this company. Their communication was wonderful. The process was outlined step-by-step, and went exactly as described.
Was searching for a way to convert old home videos to digital files and found iMemories. Expensive but well well worth it! The process doesn't take all that long, is pretty self explanatory and does absolutely everything you'd want them to. Will definitely use again and recommend to others!
