What a lovely job they did with my films. It was so nice to be able to share the memories with my family and to see members again who had passed on.
I don't like all the online usage. It would have been nice to be able to talk to someone. Everything is digital now, but I don't know how to get these all on DVD.
My old 8mm home videos are fully restored! I hadn't seen these videos in years! Now they're permanently saved for years to come! IMemories did an excellent job and it was very user friendly! Now, my children can watch videos of me when I was a kid! This was one of the best decisions I've ever made! I have already recommended them to my friends!
The experience was very smooth and straightforward. Some of my videos weren't in great shape, which made me sad. But happy to have what I do.

The process of sending them my memories to finally seeing them digitized took a bit of time. However, when I was able to see them, I am happy with the results. I am able to upload them to my computer so that I may watch them when I want. My only concern, is their communication was one email telling me that my videos were ready and that I would get my videos returned in 2-3 weeks, but no notification that they have shipped them back or a way for me to track their return. I would have given more stars had my memories been returned before this review. *** Since this review, I have been contacted by the company and they addressed my concerns. They sent my videos back, along with tracking info. I received all of my videos today!
I found iMemories on an ad and decided to try it out. They were very good in providing me with instructions and packaging to send them the recordings. They kept me updated on the 20 tapes they were processing and sent me the first batch that was completed. The second batch of recordings came a few weeks later and they packaged the originals and mailed it back to me. The price was reasonable for bringing back memories from 30 years ago. I would definitely recommend them for retrieving old recordings.

I've enjoyed watching the movies but I'm still trying to figure out how to organize them.
I'm not sure if its the device or the video quality but a number of the videos are choppy?
I've used iMemories a few different times and they come through every time. Communication is great as the quality of what they do.
I have been hesitant to "send" my dad's old movies out to get converted to digital but now I'm so happy I did. The digital versions are great and we're done faster than I was expecting! I was able to share to multiple people and saved it in different places. Still waiting for the originals. Will definitely send more!
Was able to put all my pictures on disc very happy with the results.
I sent them a mixed bag, old photos and tapes in multiple formats, slides etc. They managed to get almost all of the video and pictures. They were unable to process the slides, however.
Viewing format is logical and easy to follow.
I loved them they came out very good and we are continuously looking at them.
Now every family member has access to our family videos
I had to call in no less than 5 times due to downloading issues. Each time the person was nice and helpful but did not really solve my issue. In the end I had to download each video segment one at a time. It would not let me download my larger files at all. I did not think I would be having to download videos onto my media at all though. I thought I mailed in my memories for the price stated (I think $15.00 each) and that I would get discs back. I was not happy that the advertised price did not even include having my memories put on a disc or any type of media. It only included digitizing the memories on the imemories website. The discs are quite a bit extra. So I elected to download them on an SD card. Not a great experience but the company was courteous to deal with and I now that I know how to do this, I might give it another try?!
It has been so much fun watching our old family videos and sharing with other family members. Thanks so much!
