IMemories made everything easy right from the beginning. The end result is hours of enjoyment and being able to share the memories with family members.
I recently had negatives for our entire collection family pictures digitized. These were added to the collection of family videos I digitized last year. IMemories reps were ready with answers to all my questions. I had conversations with reps before, during and after submission of the family videos and picture negatives. Each interaction was pleasant and professional. Next up are all the school and team pics. Knowing that our family memories are now safely stored and easily accessible is wonderfully comforting. At some point I plan to organize the collection and send jump drives to the kids.
Everything was easy, shipping, downloads, etc. Quality of files excellent. Customer service experience very satisfactory.
I was very disappointed when I got a couple of my videos back. I can't even view them. But the rest of them came back good.
The process was overall very good. But it did take a long time. Perhaps the whole COVID experience affected the response time. My biggest issue is they have not returned my originals.
I am over the moon happy with the videos copied and placed on the "cloud" for me to share with family... well done and in a timely fashion.
However, leaving the tapes, filling out forms, etc... then returning to pick them up was a bad experience.
When we dropped off the tapes, nobody acknowledged our presence until we were leaving the store... and when we returned to pick up the tapes, nobody came to help us until we yelled, "Is anybody here?"
Would it help to have a bell or buzzer when the door opened to let someone know we were there to do business?
The price is very expensive and you need to download yourself. To put on a DVD it's another $10 per roll
Videos were better that what we were expecting, they gove us a month to download the videos to our personal computer and we received safe our material back, great service, pricey but worth.
My wife made the decision and sent our old HI 8 and VHS tapes off in two separate batches. The videos we are now able to watch are priceless. The video and sound quality were better than expected given the age of the tapes. (31 years in some cases)
I decided to surprise my husband with a special Christmas gift... converting 30 years of old VHS tapes to digital memories. This truly was the gift of a lifetime. The entire family has been able to laugh and cry at these old movies. Imagine seeing your 33 year old daughter's kindergarten musical again. Imagine seeing your son play little league 24 years after it happened. Memory lane has never been so sweet.
The process was easy, the cost was reasonable, and the quality of the digitized videos is awesome! This was the best investment!
Mostly an excellent job,, but the next time you cannot transfer a type of media, the client needs to know transparency is key.
My husband is a only child,,,, lost both parents and all grandparents,,, so when I sent in these old films and dvd we found in a box,,, it was absolutely incredible,, my husband got to hear his moms voice and relived his child hood Christmas and birthdays with his family,, it was incredibly emotional! Transferring your original home movies and videos to digital brings back wonderful memories. I have had more than 30 videos converted to digital and have had hours of reliving my kids growing up, vacations, Christmas mornings, etc. Just a worthwhile experience.
My family thoroughly enjoys watching our videos whenever they want, because they are so easily accessible.

I have received my originals back in the mail. I have not received the digital copies as of yet
I had so many videos on different formats and I love that I can now have these digitized. I am still trying to get used to the website, but my family has really enjoyed viewing these videos. Great job!
I do not find ordering DVDs easy and I cannot reach anyone during the week because their hours of work are too limited and they do not work on weekends when I am free!

I loved the videos, the process, and felt very confident that my memories were in good hands. What I didn't love was the costs associated with storage. I feel like the conversion costs should have covered the storage as well and not been another charge on top of everything.
I have many old tapes from 32 years ago. I was amazed at how they all turned out! So happy to be able to watch all these videos and share with family!
