I found some old camcorder tapes I had of my grandchildren from 10 years ago. I sent them all to IMemories and they put each one on a digital disc for me to review. I was so pleased that I ordered 4 cd's so I can share theses with my sons and grandchildren! They will be so surprised to see the memories I captured 10 years ago when they were in grade school. They also returned my originals without incident. I would defintely recommend them!

I cannot say enough about IMemories. I was nervous at first sending so many home movies to a place that I knew nothing about. But when I was able to see them on line, I cried. Seeing my grandparents, parents and so many other family members who are not with us any more. I am so glad that I sent these films in to be put on dvd's or on a cloud. Also I was able to share the movies with family members so if they wanted to order dvd's they could. I have more movies that I am going to be sending out this week and I can't wait to see what are on these home movies!

With my first order more than a year ago, I called ahead and asked if they could transfer optical and magnetic 16mm sound on film. I was told, "Yes." A year later, I sent my reel containing some 50 year-old black and white news film with an optical sound track. It was a sound interview. The video frames were digitized but there was no audio in the file. I emailed customer care and was told their engineers did not find any sound. I observed that was impossible since the audio track was broadcast in 1970. Audio tracks were exposed on the film in the same way as the actual video images. If the video was visible then so would the audio be visible. This is a significant technical failure. They said they would re-check. Haven't heard back after about a month.

I was apprehensive to send the videos in as wondered if I would be able to edit them etc. when they appeared on my computer since I am not very computer minded. However. I was able to call for help through every step and had the most helpful girls. Not one of them made me feel like my questions were stupid. All the videos are edited and downloaded on my computer. It is so fun to be able to watch and recall the memories. My grandkids will enjoy seeing their mom when she was younger in her different activities. I now have sent in my son's tapes.

IMemories did an outstanding job of digitizing my 16 mm films. They were made in the late forties and early fifties and were very brittle. The digital versions were as good as the original films. Very easy to download to the desktop. I also ordered a DVD to share with family and it was also well done. I really appreciate that you can call and ask for help if you are not sure how to box up your items or if you have trouble navigating the website. My call was answered promptly and I received the help I needed. Everything was returned in the same condition I sent it in.
