All of my old vhs tapes were converted successfully to digital. All my original tapes were delivered back to me (I would have loved the option to have them just thrown away instead of being charged another delivery fee just so I could throw them away). IMemories has been great at communicating and keeping me in touch, reminding me of how much longer I have left to download my digitals. My complaint is that with vhs tapes sometimes you have to track them so that the picture is clear. While watching my converted videos, it doesn't seem as though imemories spent any additional time making sure the quality of the video was clear. A small push of a button would have solved this problem (at least that's how it is when you watch them on vhs). My tapes are old (obviously) so some of it may have been unpreventable but some of it could have been fixed.

I tried them out with sending one of my VHS. It took quite a while, but that's okay. The initial quality was not impressive: The visual footage what not great, but worse, there was hardly any audio. Even turning up the volume, I could barely hear any conversation.

They redid the video conversion without my asking and then they got it right! The audio was properly done, and now the video conversion is worth keeping. I will now give them another shot at another one.

I sent 4 tapes and only only 3 were processed. The reason given doesn't hold up as when received back from you it plays good on our VHS player. I did pay to have 4 tapes converted.

The process was easy and worked very well. My one complaint is that the online viewer didnt come with either more capabilities to sort and what not, or better instructions on how to do that. I have fiddled with it enough to learn how to cut the videos in half, but sorting into different folders and being able to utilize all the spaces available to name the videos is alluding me. I have sent an email request for more information or a users manual... but have heard nothing yet!

My Dad was the one at family gatherings with his home movie camera (Super 8) and would make everyone say something into the microphone. Everybody hated it. This was back in the late 70s early 80s. Years passed and so did my Dad. My mom went into assisted living and we were cleaning out the house and found these old films. I boxed them up and said I was going to get them restored. Almost went with another company a few times, but decided on iMemories and I'm so glad I did. I've been able to share links with my cousins via text and they can watch the videos on their phone! They all went nuts and gave a big shout out to my Dad for taking them because they are now priceless!
I also had DVDs made for everyone. IMemories compiled all the tapes into one DVD, so the cost was nominal. Plus iMemories took pictures from the movies and used them on the cover of the DVD and the DVD itself. If you've been planning to get your old treasures restored, don't wait another minute... call iMemories!
